Finding some sort of peace between themselves Emma and Michael made their way to Landon and Arabella. It wasn't what they expected, it looked like a normal training ground in most packs but this area was different. It consisted of a lake that seemed man-made, luscious greens surrounded it with trees surrounding the little piece of heaven. A trail on the left led to an unearthed area rocks and boulders were there with red markers measuring distance. On the right was barren no grass, no rocks no water just a deserted area, on the far side a metal wall with targets was erected. These three different sceneries were enclosed by a chain-linked fence that seems to go on for miles but it all was kept hidden by thick trees.

"Welcome to our training grounds," Landon said smiling at the kids.

Noah and Jonah's face showed excitement they were itching to go run laps around the lake their wolves were tense after yesterday's events.

"Go on boys," Arabella said laughing.

They quickly stripped to their boxers then shifted. The others stood back and watched the powerful twin brown wolves sped around the lake as big as a stadium sprint track which was the reason why the twins loved it.

Mason, Emma, and Michael were still amazed by the view in front of them that they didn't see Isah, Avery, and the palace's strongest guards join them.

"So today we are going to train, you kids for any type of situation. Malcolm may attack randomly and we should always be prepared. We don't want any of you to be caught off guard. Mason, I know you were a beta and your fighting skills are exceptional but I'm placing you under my own beta's care. After all, you will be Michael's beta someday." Landon stated.

Mason's jaw dropped in shock as he turned to Michael, who had a proud and satisfied smile on his face.

"You want me to be your beta?" He asked still trying to wrap his mind around the words.

"You gave up your title for Emma and stood by her side. Though we had our differences I've grown very fond of you as a friend I can count on to protect myself and Emma. You're very loyal and a good person. I hope you will accept this position" Michael said.

"Of course I will. I've already pledged my loyalty to Emma and now I am to you" he said accepting the hand Michael stretched forth to him.

Everyone around them was pleased with this exchange, Emma was bouncing on her toes in excitement along with her mother. Landon laughed at the sight of his two ladies and their identical actions and shook his head.

"Back to what's at hand. Isah, take Mason and begin his training please," Landon continued.

"Sure thing boss," Isah said saluting Landon who rolled his eyes at his friend's antics.

"Oh before I forgot," he said. Isah went over to Emma and picked her up in a bear hug, "Hello my dear goddaughter. I've missed you so much" he said to a squealing Emma.

"Isah put the girl down you can talk to her later," Landon said smiling at the pair.

Emma was laughing at the way Isah held her like a teddy bear squeezing her tighter.

"Fine" he grumbled and set her down, he waved to them and led Mason to the field.

"Sorry baby girl. That's your godfather Isah also there's Avery......" Landon said motioning to his delta. Avery grinned at her when she looked his way.

"And...." Landon continued to say but Arabella cut him off by ending his statement.

"And there's Damian he's going to freak when he finally meets you. I think he will be here in two weeks. Oh and there's your aunt Tracy..... I should call her. Oh, Dimitri and Rayan also your godparents. They are the royals of the vampire kingdom. I think their daughter is of your age now... I should invite them over . ......" She rambled on.

"Ari. Not now. You have lots of time to tell her about her family. How about we deal with this family member then move on to the others we love." Landon said to his mate wearing an amused smile.

She gets carried away when she's excited and gets lost in her own world, Landon loved how she was at the moment. He has been worried sick about her over the years as she fought her depression.

"Okay, " she answered with a blush on her face.

Avery tried to hide his laughter with a cough while the others were hiding their smiles.

"Michael, Avery would like to train you a bit, while Ari and I see how strong Emma is. We will need you in 3 hours okay?!" Landon continued.

"Sure," Michael said leaning down to kiss Emma goodbye.

Emma watched on as Avery began a conversation with Michael while the guards dispersed themselves among the different groups formed.

"Are you two back on the same path?" Arabella asked her daughter leading her to the rocky area.

Landon walked on his daughter's other side and held her hand waiting for her answer.

"We talked things through about yesterday and I felt the tension and sadness lessen from our bond. I think what we have now is stronger," she answered.

"That's good news, baby girl. " Landon said grinning down at his petite princess.

Emma and Michael both felt the power that lingered in their bonds and was closer to each other. They paid it no mind when they resolved their differences and everything felt just a bit more different. Landon sensed it.

Though they are not fully mated the power of their gifts has strengthened; this usually happens after mated but it seems this new generation of royals are truly stronger.

Greatness.

That is what to be expected from these two.

"Okay, here we are. I know the boys have been teaching you how to control your emotions. But have they taught you how to use it to your own advantage?" Arabella asked.

Emma brows furrowed in confusion.

"No, they haven't. I went on instinct when I attack someone" she answered thinking back on her situation with Malcolm.

"Well that's what you're gonna learn today," Landon said proudly at her.

He nodded to his mate and she stepped onto the rocky ground with her arms behind her back.

She moved easily between the boulders in her path as she distanced them one by one making a clear path for anyone behind her. She stopped and turned back to her family and with a flick of her wrist, the boulders went back to their original places.

Emma raised her eyebrow at her mother simple display of her gift.

"The mates of royals are mostly elementals. Your Michael has fire, while my Ari has earth; with great practice and control of their emotions they can manage their element." Landon said with his focus on his mate.

"So the blood-born royals are given a specific gift?" Emma asked watching Arabella shift around the boulders with ease.

"You can somewhat say so. The power to read one's mind, use our minds to move things control another person's mind are passed down upon generation. Till you. You inherited the power to read minds from my mother but telekinesis is new to the blood. Malcolm was the first holder and he was strong with it no one could have explained his gift but it was his only one. " Landon explained.

"We were truly surprised when the boys told us of your telekinetic gift also your control over the weather it was then we believe that our offspring would be the start of the most powerful generation. It will be welcomed but some may hate the idea of only royals has this power" Arabella stated walking closer to Emma.

"Okay sweetheart. I want you to will your power to lift one of these boulders in mid-air for more than ten seconds" Landon said stepping back.

"Lift?" She asked in confusion.

"Yes. Lift. It is possible with your gift. " he replied giving her a reassuring smile. In the journals from his father, it was mentioned that Malcolm's power enabled him to communicate with others and channel his power to move things where telekinesis does this also. His powers evolved over the years and with his anger towards his family, it made him dangerous.

The evolved form of his powers was passed onto Emma which had Landon worried yet amazed.

After a few failed attempts, Emma was able to hold the boulder 5 feet above the ground for 10seconds.

"Good job baby" Arabella cheered on.

"My head hurts daddy" Emma groaned rubbing her temple.

"That's because your mind came into play to move the object. I can't explain this new level of telekinesis but from what I learned from my father this power is first and foremost a mind power then goes on to the use of your body. How about you practice that part with little stuff first." He told her holding her close to his side.

"Isn't my power and yours the same, daddy?" She asked.

"In hindsight it is but it isn't. Have you ever tried to communicate anyone outside of your pack link and mate link?" He asked with a furrowed brow.

"No, I haven't, why?" She asked manipulating the winds around them.

Landon smirked as he felt the gentle breeze against his heated body, Arabella laughed out as she realized what her daughter was doing.

"Try. It's part of your gift. Now let's see the others" Landon said excitedly.

Emma was pleased that they wanted her to display something she thought as freaky.

She walked to the center of the rocky field and looked up at the sky, looking back at her parents her eyes were dark. The sunlight easily was being covered by dark clouds, no thunder was heard it was simply dark storm clouds.

Arabella and Landon stood in awe as Emma made the rain fell around them but not on them, with a gesture of her hand three bolts of lightning struck the ground leaving dark marks on the ground. She began to play with the bolts remembering what the twins told her.

Visualize and focus.

The others made their way to see what was wrong when they saw the rain began to fall. What they were witnessing was simply amazing as they watched their future queen handle her gifts with such grace.

Michael stood by Landon and smiled at his mate. The smile on her face was of peace and freedom, he was proud to call her his mate.

The few guards were amazed at what was before them, they silently watched as she stopped the rains and cleared up the skies. This is why the king ordered them to keep quiet at what they are about to do.

It was their princess.

The rumor around the castle was true then, the last royal is alive.

Michael made his way to Emma and crashed his lips onto hers.

"Great show" he teased her after he pulled away from their kiss.

"That was amazing" Arabella squealed. Emma laughed at her ever so bubbly mother.

Noah and Jonah stood proud watching their sister using her gifts with pure ease; Mason was shocked that she can do that; Avery and Isah were also proud of her and knew that she would do just fine now with little help from them.

Landon stood and watched on as Michael and Emma embraced each other, he sensed the power surrounding them. Their bond was indeed strong.

"They have to train together now," he said as he felt Isah and Avery flanked his sides.

"Yes alpha," they said in unison.

"Also the training of our men should be doubled. Malcolm would attack soon. Till then patrols are to be done." He continued.

Arabella looked at her mate and saw that look of determination as he stared lovingly at their daughter. She knew that Landon would do everything in his power to protect his little girl. For eighteen years he has been doing it and he will do it till his last breath.

They all wanted the uncertainty and caution in living to end.

They just wanted their future queen safe.
