"Are they awake?" That question was the first thing that came out of my mouth when Ari appeared in my office.

"Not yet my love," she answered coming towards me. I caught her in my arms as she rushed towards me, her worry and distress etched on her face had me worrying even more. Even though it has been a day, Michael and Emma have been unconscious, I couldn't help but do so.

"The doctor said they are fine the breaking of their pack bonds have tired their bodies. Their wolves are resting and have their humans resting also" Arabella explained.

I released a sigh of frustration. "The royals of the vampire kingdom will be arriving late tomorrow," I said smiling down at her. She perked up, a large smile was plastered on her face which I couldn't help but laugh.

"Donnie that's not fair. You should have told me sooner. I need to get their rooms ready," She said lightly hitting me on the arm. "I'm sorry, my dear Ari there have been so much going on," I teased her.

She huffed in annoyance and made a beeline out the door; I folded my arms and tried my best not to smile, as on cue she came back in smiling sheepishly.

"I love you," she whispered before kissing me sweetly.

"Sometimes I wonder if you truly do " I teased her. "From the moon and back baby," she said pecking my cheek and ran out again.

After all these years, she still got me feeling the same way when we were sixteen, it's amazing how strong the love between mates are.

Isah and Avery entered a few minutes after with smug grins on their faces, "Have you done what I've asked of you Avery?" I asked him grinning also.

"Yes alpha. Its all done." He answered.

Having your best friends as allies sure do have its benefits in a time of need. "We have to be careful. We still do not know who else is working with Darwin within the palace. Now that Emma has announced her homecoming, Malcolm would be more desperate to get to her. The twins are posted outside their door right?!" I asked.

"They have been there since the night we brought them up. Beta Mason is in the room beside them," Isah said with an amused smile.

"Feels funny huh?! Saying beta Mason when you're currently Beta," Avery joked. These two always find the worst time to taunt each other.

"I'm proud that he's Beta. He's a strong one and respected by the princess herself. He even took on the role of alpha to get the survivors to Dark Moon, as Prince Michael told me." Isah said with a sense of pride in his words, " I'm glad I can teach him the ways of a royal Beta."

"Prince Michael made a great choice," Avery said beaming with pride also.

To us, the kingdom will be in great hands when we all step down, Ari and I may be able to travel more often, Isah and Avery would have more time to do a larger search for their mates.

I know they long for their other half but they placed their loyalty to the throne as top priority even when I was against it, they stood by my side.

"What of the young alpha?" Isah asked.

"For his safety, I'm keeping him here at the palace. Michael and the boys warned us to keep a close eye on him, he's a bit unstable. Emma is to be kept away from him do you understand?" I stated to them.

"Yes, your majesty" they chorused.

"Good. Now let's look over our strategy and combine the ones Damian offered. They all shall be here tomorrow. I want everything to be in order. Whatever surprise Malcolm wants to throw at us we should be prepared. When the prince awakes, he shall be informed." I said making my way to the adjoining war room.

"Understood alpha," they chorused again.

"Leave the unison for the twins. You two are annoying me with it" I grumbled as I started the map projection of the castle grounds and environs.

Hearing them snicker behind me, I rolled my eyes at my best friends.

"One thing. One thing the king asked of you and you failed? Don't you want to see your father? Alive? This is all about you remember. Being alpha of your new pack, stronger than your father's. Having a beautiful Luna by your side, the love of your life, Emma," He said circling me.

He's right. Moon Dust had so much potential but after my mother's death, dad kept the pack under the dominant ones. We were thought as weak to others; he didn't have to go through the taunts at that school. How pathetic the American alpha was they teased.

With Emma as my Luna, my new pack would be powerful.

"I can gain her trust again, I'm sure of it this time....." I began to say.

"How do you expect to do that when she has fully mated with the prince" he spat.

I blankly stared at the warrior before me trying to process what he just told me.

"Don't tell me you still believe she's yours?" he said laughing dryly. "She will always be mine. I was the one who cared for her when everybody else shunned her," I growled at him slamming him to the floor.

"Then prove it. Show everyone that she deserves to be your mate and not prince Michael's. Then... Then you shall get everything that you were promised" he said grinning up at me.

"I'll get her in my arms before the king arrives," I said. Plans were already being worked up in my mind to get my Luna.

"Very well. I expect you to be successful with this. If not... Let's just say Moon Dust would cease to exist" he said getting out of my hold and making his way to the door.

"I won't let my king down" I promised him and began to put my plan in action.

**Unknown Warrior**

Stupid pup. His days are surely numbered. Malcolm would not hesitate to get rid of him.

'Visitors to be arriving in a day's time. Everyone are to be on guard' Delta Avery's order came through loud and clear. Since the arrival of the princess, the warriors and helpers were kept in the dark about the goings in the castle. Even more so after Darwin's imprisonment everyone became guarded, stupid old man, got sloppy in covering his tracks. The pup of a prince so easily cracked him what an idiot. I can't even get close to the prince and princess, no other guard was assigned to their party. They kept the twins and young beta to be their guards, how silly.

Imagine how soft they would be in ruling, probably worse than Landon. Allowing humans and vamps within the holdings of wolves, it's unheard of.

I can't wait for the day for all dominant pure breed to take their place in the hierarchy of the supernaturals.

When king Malcolm ascends the throne all humans, vampires are all going to bow down to us.
