Chapter 17: Princess Dillie of Pinkland

"Your mom?"

"Yeah, duh. Do you think I live alone?"

He stood up in a swift and dragged me along with him as we went down the stairs.

I tripped a couple of times while he took me down the stairs. He was too fast to keep up with and besides, I had tiny legs.

I didn't worry, he always had a way of picking me up before I fell else it'll be a game of trips and smacks.

I didn't know how but he happened to know all the way to every single room even with the fact they all looked alike.

Really, it made me feel like I was walking past the same place repeatedly.

After a minute or two of feeling like a puppet in Dylan's hand, we got to a kitchen.

The first thing I noticed was a little girl. She was wearing a pink dress and glittery shoes with purple hair clips adorning her brown shiny hair.

Her blue eyes assessed me the moment she noticed. Brushing her hair off her forehead, she gave me a sweet smile and let out a little giggle.

The woman beside her, who I assumed to be Dylan's mom, looked a little younger than I expected.

If I met her somewhere else, I wouldn't have pictured her to have a son as old and dumb as Dylan.

Her skin was a little bit brown and had that shiny and smooth appearance.

The direct opposite of my dry pale skin.

She had a simple light blue dress and black jacket on with silver shoes. Her face wasn't so caked with make up, just a thin line of eyeliner and lip gloss. At least, according to what I could see.

"Dille Willie!" The little girl ran and hugged Dylan's legs.

Aww, she was so c_

Wait, did she just say Dillie Willie?

Oh, I am so calling him that when I'm done!

"What's the reason behind your sudden kindness?" Dylan asked, furrowing and taking steps away from the little girl. "Is this a prank? Cause if it is, I'm gonna burn all your pretty little bows and I'll go for the pink ones first!"

It took time to process that.

Why was Dylan so harsh to a cute little innocent girl?

I mean, all she did was to give him a hug and besides, she also gave him a good nickname that was definitely going to stick to my head forever.

"Be nice you butthole" I whispered with a smile still plastered on my face like a second skin.

"Oh you have no idea what she's capable of. Trust me cupcake, she's a little demon"

"That's enough Dylan." The mom said "Kindly introduce cupcake to us"

If Dylan wasn't such an idiot, she wouldn't have known about the dumb nickname.

"Actually, it's Diana"

"So" She paused, placing her elbows on the counter and resting her head in between her arms.

So what?

"Are you guys dating?"

Ha!

"No no no no no" I laughed "No"

"She's just my friend mom"

"That's what you said about Cassandra, remember?"

Of course, she knew Cassandra. Who wouldn't?

She had her way of clinging to Dylan and his crew like her life depended on it. I couldn't be surprised that she found her way into Dylan's house.

Besides, Dylan wouldn't mind.

"I didn't say Cassandra was my friend. I said she's someone I know"

"Okay, I believe you" She paused "But that's only because she's dressed appropriately and her face looks normal"

"Yeah whatever. I'm hungry"

"That's not my fault"

"I'll cook you something Dillie" The little girl, whose name I still didn't know, offered and reached for the bags on the counter.

"Thanks demon junior but I'll rather not die. I still have a couple of girls to impress"

The ego.

Dylan's mom left the kitchen seconds later with a can of coke. She didn't look surprised with the way Dylan spoke to his sister.

It looked like she was used to it.

I knew there was something I didn't know but she was so little and cute for a brother as stupid as Dylan.

I mean, he was picking strands of her hair and sticking out his tongue for weird reasons I wasn't sure of.

"Can you be nicer to her? Even if it's for a second?"

"Cupcake, you have no idea what she's capable of"

"She's young and adorable" She smiled at me the moment I said that and my heart almost melted "What's your name princess?"

"That's the direct opposite of what she is. You'll see"

"Kayla but Dillie calls me sweetheart"

"Ew no!"

That's it!

"Listen carefully young man" I said and pulled his ear closer.

At least, the universe wasn't against me when it coincidentally was his weak spot.

"You're gonna do whatever she says tonight else I'll scoop out your eyes and feed it for you. Am I clear?"

"Never!"

"You have no idea what I'm gonna cut off after then" I whispered in his ear "You'll beg for my mercy"

"Okay! Just let me go!"

I released him and gave him a charming smile for obeying me that once in his life.

He had his hand attached to his ear for seconds. I guess I was a little too harsh on the poor ear.

Ha!

"So do you have anything fun to do tonight Kayla?"

"I wanna play dress up with Dillie"

"Never gonna happen" Dylan said from the refrigerator as he shuffled through for food.

"He's gonna play dress up with you and I will be the judge"

"What? There's no way I'm playing princess dressup. I'm not a man, remember? A hot one and hot men don't play princess dress up, mostly when it involves a little demon and her assistant"

"Yes you will" I stated "Cause you want your body parts intact"

"Dillie is gonna play dress up with me!" Kayla yelled, hugging my legs "Thanks Diana"

"Guess what Cupcake"

"What?"

"I hate you"

"I hate you too Darling"

"Now let's get this dress up started"

.~*~.~*~.~*~.

"Sit" I pointed at the pink chair "Come on Dylan, Kayla has to go to bed in a few minutes"

Kayla had more make up than I expected. It looked like she was older than her age with the multiple make up for different skin colors.

They were arranged accordingly on her table and with the way she handled it, it looked like she knew more about make up than I did.

She started by smudging bright red lipstick on his lips. It was way too much, it smeared on his cheeks and chin.

I didn't know if foundation was meant to come after lipstick but she did it her way, wetting Dylan's face with foundation. She proceeded to draw his eyebrows but she made it look more like his face was a color book.

Yeah, you don't wanna see it.

I was less busy so I took care of his hair.

Since he was so much of a man like he liked to classify himself, I didn't adorn his hair with hair clips.

Instead, I poured glitters all over his hair.

I poured so much, he probably wouldn't be able to get rid of it in years.

It's not like you expected me to do something better.

"All done!" Kayla squealed when she was done with his make up.

I turned the chair to face the mirror and that was it to make me laugh.

His facial expression was priceless.

He had to bat his long colored lashes to be sure he was seeing the right thing.

"I present to you" kayla started "Princess Dillie of Pinkland!"

"My hair!" He screamed "My pretty face!"

"Yeah, we just made it a million times prettier"

"Aren't you adorable" I said pinching his pink covered cheeks. "You're as cute as a fat clown"

"Don't call me cute girl! I'm sexy!"

"You look sexy Dillie" Kayla pointed out.

"Oh shut up. I know you did this intentionally"

"You shut up" She said back and changed her facial emotion immediately "I mean, you're pretty"

I knew something was fishy but either ways, I didn't lose anything.

I used the opportunity and took a picture of Dylan with his perfectly caked face.

And that, my friends, is a ticket to do-whatever-i-want land.

"You're gonna delete that picture right now"

"Be polite"

"Fine, please delete the picture"

"No!" I laughed. Idiot! I wouldn't delete it even if he gave me a mountain of cotton candy.

"Fine then. We'll do it your way"

He lunged at me to get the phone but I was smarter this time. I didn't think twice before running out of the room.

He caught up to me in seconds, yet again.

"Wait!" I yelled. "Wait"

He stopped and rested an arm on his waist, tapping his foot in the ground impatiently. "I'm giving you one minute Cupcake"

"If you move closer, I promise I'll tap this button and it'll be on Instagram in a second"

"You wouldn't do that"

"Try me"

"Fine, what do you want?"

"You're gonna have to give me a couple of hours to think."

What do you think I'll need from Dylan?

Food was the top on my list. He was definitely gonna get me food for about two weeks.

He could also be of help in doing my assignments for a month or two and if I get too lazy, time we graduate.

He co_

"Gotcha!" Dylan was next to me in a second. He moved so fast, I couldn't think of anything before he lunged at me. His hand went for my phone before anything else.

He turned it off and slipped it into his pocket. His hand then went for my arms, he kept them behind me and held them both.

Yet again.

"I tried to do it the easy way but now, you're gonna get what's coming to you" The tone he used while talking was different from the way he spoke usually. It was lower and a bit darker but then I remembered.

He's just a chicken

"So cupcake, what am I gonna do to you?"

"Get me food?"

"In your dreams sweetie_"

"Or tell me why you're trying to keep me up" I heard a familiar feminine voice before the door knob in front of us twisted open and his mom came out.

With a spatula in her hand.
