Chapter Twenty-six

Chapter Twenty-Six

I hid behind the door awaiting his arrival. I couldn’t even keep count of how many times I dozed off whilst waiting for him, with the dagger in my hand. I was determined to serve him his own piece of cake, maybe, hurt him before he could hurt me.

I knew there was something off about him anyway. Him being all nice, caring and trying to look like an angel when he was everything far from it. Come to think of it, I was the only stupid one here, trusting a total stranger simply because he didn’t kill me at first.

I mean, this guy literally killed someone right in front of me without any form of remorse. He was literally used to killing people that it felt so normal to him. Crazy enough! I have been scared of him since then, but something still didn’t let me run away.

Even if I wanted to run away now, where would I have run to? How do I bypass all the guards and the maids? How sure am I that he is not somewhere hiding in the building, or perhaps, showing off his brute side to a woman down there - a scene I’ll never like to watch again.

Gosh, Galena!

After falling asleep for the fifth time and waking up again, as I stood behind the door, I heard the door gently open from outside by a gentle push applied. I held my breath in fear as my eyes gaped open in terror, with my face turning pale at every ticking second.

I shuddered fearfully as my grip tightened around the handle of the dagger shakily. I was visibly trembling in terror as I waited for him to fully step into the room. His shadow loomed over the doorway as he seemed to be hesitant to come in. I watched him close the door gently with his eyes questioningly glued to the bed which he might have been expecting me to lie on.

His hand was still on the door as he closed it shut with his brows furrowed in confusion. He took a hesitant step forward and tried to call my name, but I stopped him midway with the dagger over his throat as my shaky hands and terrified body perspired with floods of sweat. The room was not hot. This was only due to tension.

“Stop right there!” I cried shakily with the dagger over his throat and he paused in his tracks. He had a grim, lethal expression on his face as he stood by my side silently, maybe waiting for my orders. For once, I felt in control, but not totally; because I was sore afraid of this man. I wasn’t even sure of myself, even though I held a weapon in my hand.

He tried to turn around to face me properly, but I stopped him again.

“Don’t move!” I said shakily and he halted.

“Alright.” He breathed calmly. He didn’t seem to be terrified. I rolled my eyes at him questioningly, searching for answers that never came.

“You… you were trying to kill me with this right?” I asked shakily with terror in my voice, but he didn’t say a word.

“Answer me!” I demanded in fear and anger, and he instinctively raised his hands up in surrender.

“Alright. Can I just turn around?” he asked with his hands in the air, as his calm voice crossed the silence between us. I drew in a sharp breath trying to steady my nerves. He sure was trying to play tricks on me, but I tried so hard not to look scared and vulnerable before him, so I let him turn around.

“Turn around.” I commanded with a shaky voice as the tears that welled up in my eyes stole to my face. I pressed the knife closer to his throat, but careful not to hurt him. He turned slowly to face me, and he had a smug smile playing at the corner of his lips and an evil glint in his eyes that sent the shivers down my spine.

He seemed to have taken an overstep towards me, making the dagger tear him slightly on his throat that sent me gasping, but he didn’t even spare a flinch. Instead, his eyes went darker with an evil glint, and the expression on his face was both lethal and seductive.

I subconsciously stepped back in horror, trying not to harm him as I was getting terrified by the aura that he emitted. I shifted the blade from his throat to his chest, pressing over the bareness that peaked out of his long sleeved black shirt, due to his half done button.

I seemed to be totally lost in his candour and before I could return to present, he quickly swivelled me around into his embrace, with my back against him, leaning on his heaving chest firmly, and my butt was tightly pressed to his bulge. His mouth hung slightly open, letting his breath gently escape and seep into my neck and the side of my face as he used his cheek to pin my head to one spot. He had the dagger placed directly over my neck, ready to strike, with my hands tightly clasped over it, trying to push it away from my neck, leaving me terrified and breathless, as my mouth hung loosely open in terror, letting the jagged breath swiftly escape from my lungs.

“Is this one of your cosplaying tricks, Galena?” he asked huskily with a jagged breath over my ear, then he swivelled back to face him roughly, helping me maintain a distance from him as he peered down lustfully at me, “cos it’s working.” A flick of desire cursed through his eyes at his words.

I quickly placed the dagger over his chest once again with terror surging through me, as I fearfully stepped backwards away from him. “Stay away from me!” I warned, as my voice cracked with fear.

“You think I’m a monster.” his eyes darkened with an unknown emotion as he took a step forward, while I took two steps backward in fear, trying so hard to maintain my distance from him, and maybe, fearing to hurt him. I didn’t want any Gin incident repeating itself.

His eyes seemed to hold a flick of pain as he said; “you hate me so much, why don’t you go ahead and kill me?” as he took a step further while I backed out in terror.

“Stay where you are!” I screamed at him.

“Or what? Hmm?” he stepped again towards me ominously.

“I’m going to kill you!” I scream, with my hands trembling in betrayal before me.

“Why don’t you do it?” he asks in a grim voice with his legs striding towards me, making me move further behind, until I am right beside the bed with no other place to go. I pointed the dagger to his chest shakily, as the tears streamed down more from my eyes, while I helplessly tried to maintain a defiant look.

“Do it Galena!” he said coldly with his chest leaning hard against the blade, piercing him, while he stood there unflinchingly enduring the pain. No. I couldn’t deal with this.

“Stop!” I cried. “Don’t come any farther!”

“What if I do?” he asked stepping closer, allowing the blade pierce through his skin the more, and since there was nowhere to go, I sat down on the bed defeatedly, still pointing the knife at him, and he swiftly pinned me to a lying position on the bed, with the blade keeping a distance between my chest and his. I stared at him horrified as I rolled my pupils searchingly at him. Why was he hurting himself!?

“Brandon…” I whispered defeatedly.

He used his free hand to lift my night dress over my thighs, as his hands glazed over it enticingly, eventually grabbing my butt and squeezing it hard, sending a tingling, lustful sensation down my spine.

He used his other hand to tightly clasp on my hand that had a blade, driving it deeper into his chest with his eyes never leaving mine as the blood silently strolled from the wound he had made, swinging me into terror as the tears fell more from my eyes.

“Go ahead. He whispered huskily, “do it!”

His other hand still massaged my thigh and my butt, as he laid in between my legs, sending a feeling of both desire and fear all over me.

“Please…” I cried, trying to remove the dagger from his chest, but he pulled it back, leaning in closer to me and whispering; “Go ahead…”

“No please!” I cried in fear. He seemed both surprised and amused.

“I don’t want to hurt you.” I said with sobs amidst my throat and he seemed thoughtful for a while.

“Why?” He asked almost silently.

“I just… can’t” I said tearfully with pleading eyes.

He studied me for a brief moment before taking the dagger away from me and flinging it to the floor with a tinkling sound, making me flinch. His eyes softened towards me as he regarded me, and before I could think of anything else, he crashed his lips into mine, kissing me hard with passion and desire flicking through his tasty tongue. Every stroke of his touch on my skin and thighs spelt want. An uncontrollable desire to explore every bit of me.

I tried to stop him with my hands but he didn’t flinch, instead, he intensified his kiss and his touch, making me explode with desire beneath him. I could feel my breast get tender and sensitive as it glazed from beneath the nightie over his bare chest. The wetness came over my vagina, making it itch more for his touch, while every part of me ached and burned with lust.

I had totally forgotten that I was on my period, but all I wanted was to feel him in between my legs. He had seduced me. He was like the devil, both tempting and fatal, and at that point, I didn’t care if we were enemies. I just wanted him. Maybe, that would make the fears in my heart dissipate and heal the wound in my heart. Or maybe, that was my way of telling him that I was sorry for piercing him with the dagger.

I gasped into his mouth when I felt his finger slide into me, fondling the insides of my organ fiercely. I moaned as his hand grinded into me at a faster pace and I arched my back slightly to receive him more, but he suddenly detached his lips away from mine, scanning me with his enchanting grey eyes.

“You’re just like the serpent,” he whispered with a lascivious glint in his eyes, “you beguile me.” and his lips found mine again, sucking harder, more passionately.

“Mr. West.” There was a knock on the door from Lucavo, making me gasp, while he hesitantly detached from me, before glaring at the door, from where the voice came.

“Fuck! Lucavo.” He cursed under his breath before skipping out of bed with his blood stained chest and fingers.

I watched in embarrassment as he studied the blood on his fingers before glancing at me and saying; “We’ll have to finish this.” and stalked to the bathroom with an almost pissed expression on his face.
