Mistake
As each day goes by, Mark shows his seriousness to me more and more. I started to understand his feelings. He didn't give up even though I refused many times. But his kindness made me feel very warm. But a few days ago I found a photo of him and a woman, it said "Mark and Angelica" for some reason my heart became confused, but little by little I began to understand.
This afternoon I intend to look for painting objects in the forest behind campus which is overgrown with trees and inhabited by hundreds of birds. Today I want to paint birds in the forest.
I see many inspirations that I can paint but there is one that is most special. A pair of walking doves. The female pigeon had defects in her wings so she couldn't fly. Her mate, a seemingly healthy male pigeon, accompanies her as she walks across the land. A truly beautiful view.
"It's beautiful, isn't it?" said someone beside me.
"Mark? Wh...since when did you...?"
"Since earlier, I have been following you here on purpose," he answered frankly.
"Actually, what are you thinking that keeps following me? Aren't you bored?"
"How could I get bored of watching the woman I love? In fact, the more I follow you like this, the greater my love for you!"
"You weirdo, that's up to you. But don't bother me!"
I started painting a pair of doves in front of me. Mark didn't speak at all, maybe he was afraid of disturbing my concentration or afraid that the pigeon would run away.
We've been here almost an hour. Black clouds began to gather in the sky and caused strong winds. Soon it will rain.
"Ah... damn, it's drizzling! My painting isn't finished yet," I said irritably.
"Yeah... it can't be helped, let's go!"
"You just go first, I want to pack up my things!"
"Okay, let me help you here."
Rain began to fall to wet the earth. We ran for shelter. Mark took off his jacket and covered my head so it wouldn't get splashed with rain water. I don't know what I feel right now. In the past, Bryan often protected me when it rained. Right now I feel like there is a replacement for Bryan who protects me like he does.
"Thank God, we're finally here! How is your painting? Is it wet?"
"It's okay, just a little wet but thankfully the paint didn't come off."
"That's good then, you wait here, okay? I'll find a towel for you," he said as he stepped forward.
"Mark, that... wait!" I shouted.
"What's wrong, Anka?"
"Thank you ...."
"Hmm... yeah!"
I felt my heart pounding. "Am I starting to fall in love with him? Will that happen again?" I asked myself.

This morning it rained heavily and strong winds blew wildly. Students who usually look for shelter now seem to be crowding around something they find interesting to watch. I'm trying to find out what is going on so I can change the habits of students on this campus.
I saw a woman standing in the middle of the field wearing thin clothes without anything to protect her from the harsh hit of the rain. He looked pale and shivering, but he didn't seem to care about his condition. I immediately approached the woman, it turned out to be Angelica. A woman who is very similar to the photo I found at that time.
"Angelica...?"
"Wh...who are you?" he said weakly.
"What are you doing in the rain? Come with me."
"Let...let me go...!"
"What do you mean? You want to meet Mark, right?"
"Who are you ?"
"I'm his friend, come with me!" I said while pulling his arm.
"No... leave me here!"
I don't know what else to do. Maybe this is a sacrifice he has to make like what I once did to get Bryan released from prison. Often people who see do not understand the conditions we are experiencing and they can only blame us for what we have done. In fact, if they experienced the same thing, they would definitely do what we are doing now. Yes... sacrifice, that's all we can do for loved ones.
I left Angelica in the rain. I ran through room after room to meet Mark. I have to look for him and he has to see who is the person who really loves him right now.
"Mark...!" I shouted. I saw him standing facing the window, and then I knew what he was looking at.
"Anka, why are you pregnant?"
"Mark, she's Angelica, right?"
"Yes, but how do you know?"
"I found a photo of you with that woman, and the names of you and Angelica are written on the photo. Is she your girlfriend?" I asked seriously.
"No, she's my ex. She used to have an affair with Jack Carter!"
"He must have another reason, it's raining heavily outside...!"
"I don't care... !"
"Why are you silent? Bring him in quickly, he'll catch a cold."
"Just leave it, a girl like that. I don't...!"
"Plakk!!!" A loud slap hit his face. This is the first time I slapped a man.
"An... Anka?" he said in disbelief while holding his red cheeks.
"You know my brother, how big a mistake other people have done to him, but he always tries to forgive. No matter how hard the problem he faces, he never feels the slightest bit afraid, let alone avoids it. He always faces it, but you so easily want to take his place. . Right now you've shown me that you can never be the same as him, you're different. I shouted as I walked away from the man.
"You're right Anka, I will never be able to replace Bryan. I'm a coward!"
