EPILOGUE

4 years later ..
Maxine is BUSY with the heating that will be used for later barbeques. They prepared her Mother a little party for her 30th birthday today.
Here they lived with his mother in brgy. San Jose, at Lucas' rest house. In the young man's desire not to go away completely, he decided to leave and return to Prague.

Si-jin's gaze quickly followed the ball and to where it would fall. The boy ran near the gate and frowned at the person holding it.
"Gime me my ball." Si-jin's stubborn command.
"Hello, kiddie. How did you do that, huh? Woah, you really amazed me. "
Si-jin's lips twitched as if the other person didn't seem to hear what he ordered.
"I don t talk to strangers. Now give me my ball. "
"Woah! Okay fine. My name is Noah. So, can we be friends? I m not a stranger anymore. "

Lucas s POV
INIP I tucked the cellphone in my pocket. I called before but no one answered. I decided to just get off and follow Noah who looked busy. I think someone is talking.
"Noah!" call my attention to it. It turned around. I ve also seen who has been preoccupied with it before. A child ?!
"Daddy ?!"
I stared at the child. Its gray eyes were clouded as it looked at me.
"Si-jin, what is he doing to you ?!"
The three of us looked at the door at the same time. Mother Perlita. My gaze shifted to the child and to the latter. And there seemed to be hands caressing my heart with the smile made by Mother Perlita. Even though no words came out of his mouth, he knew that was what he meant.

Maxine s POV
I am THIRTY minutes late. What's even more annoying is the need to come home to pick up my cellphone. In my haste earlier I forgot a bit.
I immediately got out of the car and took large steps leading to the gate.
"I forgot my cellphone,' Mom! " I shouted opening to climb to the top. But I got no response. Busy perhaps. Until I get the cellphone and get off. "I m leaving,' Mom! "
