Mrs Smith found Sophia in her room, she was looking out the window and clutching her gown. She saw the tears that streamed down her face and that got her worried.
"I am sorry if my son scared you" she said, placing a hand on her shoulder. "He is honest when he says that he loves you, it's very obvious that he does, Sophia. Even if you don't feel the same about him, just help him, I think he really needs you" Mrs Smith begged.
Sophia turned slowly to face her, she wished so much that this woman would understand, she feels like she should tell her about how her son wronged her, but then, what would her reaction be?
How would she tell her that the father of this same guy that raped her is the man that sent her parents to their early grave? How? Heaven is so unfair!
She didn't run away because she didn't love the way he kissed her, she didn't run because his lips tasted sour, she's running because she's a coward. She's developing soft spot for this guy that has caused her so much pain.
"He didn't scare me, I was just thinking��that it's not just right to do something like that, I mean, it's disrespectful to do that��with my boss's son" she isn't so good at lying, but she knows how to try not to implicate herself while doing so.
"Thank you for being honest with me and keeping the rules in mind, this shows that you are a good girl. But I want you to know now, I won't jeopardize my son's happiness for anything, he needs you right now and I give you my full support to help him whichever way you can" Mrs Smith emphasized.
"Okay, I am sorry for creating such chaos. I will go back and continue massaging him" She said and attempted to get away from her before she broke down, but she tightened her hold on her shoulder.
"It's okay, the doctor must be there by now taking care of him. I have something to teach you guys, so follow me. And I'm sorry for the inconveniences this must've caused you, okay?" Mrs Smith said ever caring.
Sophia nodded and allowed her to use the door before her. She called the special assassinators into her office to teach them code words and give them code names.
"Today, I was called by someone that needed us to invade a police station that has been practicing corruption. Under that mission, I figured out that the cause for that arose from bad government which means some of those government officials need to be wasted first" Mrs Smith paused to look at their faces.
"This is a very dangerous mission, that's why I summoned you guys here to give you the special training as my special agents of the shield" she smiled proudly at them.
She lifted a small book to their face and showed them the name, "this is a booklet for past code words and names of some past members. I think it will be useful today because we will use some of the old names recorded here"
"The names are useless, the words might be too, but its meaning to us is what matters. I will begin by telling you guys some code words to use in crusial times to avoid suspicions or exposure" she opened the booklet.
"One: when you are in a mission and someone calls you to say; "It's raining, don't hang the clothes" it means, mission cancelled, find your way back to the meeting place.
Two: when the person says, "it's cloudy, take the clothes inside" it means, there's danger ahead, either we got exposed or a threat is following you.
Three: when it says, "the sun is shining, it's so bright outside" it means, there's nothing blocking your way, go ahead.
Four: When it says, 'there has been an accident' it means that someone in our midst is a threat to us, that a spy planted amongst us has leaked out a secret��" she stopped when Xena raised a finger up, "what is it?"
"I don't mean to be disrespectful or rude, please permit me to speak my mind," Xena demanded.
"Go on, say it" she gave her a go ahead.
"Okay. The thing is, I believe all of us here knows how to read, so I was thinking, is it not better to get more copies of this booklet and hand out to each one of us to study on our own to avoid forgetting and making mistakes and also to avoid the sacrifice of a member when we misinterpret the codes. And it is risky to misunderstand it because it might generate mission failure" Xena specified.
Stella raised her hand too and added; "Ma'am, I think what Xena just said is the right thing to do. I support her notion, or is there anyone here who is not literate?"
"I don't think so, I thought about it too and I see reasons with what they have just said, the important thing now is for you to give us our code names and also the details on the mission ahead" Alex completed.
"Good. You all have spoken well. That's a smart one Xena, you made a good suggestion today, I was waiting for that. So now I guess it is time for naming all of you, please, you have to listen 'cause I shall not repeat myself. Am I talking to somebody?" She gave them prying looks as they all nod their heads like lizard.
"Alright, just keep it in mind that these names are not necessary when you are inside the vicinity of this organization, but only important to be used when you are on a mission or outside here and you want to communicate with each other.
It was invented when we found out that it is very dangerous to use our real names outside here even when we are masked due to the nature of our job.
