Sophia was caught off guard by his query and the look in his eyes. Well, she can't blame him, maybe that is how people who survived from plane crashes behave.
"Well, I don't��understand, I will just pretend I didn't hear that. Excuse me" she squatted down and continued what she was doing.
"Pretence, yeah, that is the word! You are very good at concealing your real self, you don't understand what I am saying, right? Okay, take a look at this!" He threw the phone at her.
She looked at him and remembered that he is sick, the sickness must have gotten upstairs and it is quietly losing some nuts there, very soon, he might completely go crazy.
She had to tolerate for Mrs Smith's sake and for the fact that she still has a long way to go in this organization so she can be able to take revenge.
She picked up the phone and was thrilled to bone marrow. Her eyes widened, her mouth fell loose and she shivered. How did he get to see the sex video?
"What? Do you understand now? Oh, you finally lost your voice, huh? Talk to me you slut!" He barked, Sophia rose immediately and gave him the shock of his life.
A slap across the face and he saw stars, "don't you dare insult me you animal! Yes, this is me, so what? Are you a saint? You are the one that did this to me and you have the guts to call me a slut!" She yelled at him.
"What��what did you just do? What are you saying?" He asked more calmly. He went close to hold her and she pushed him away.
"Sophia, talk to me, what are you saying? You knew me before, right? Please, stop keeping me in the dark!" He gasped.
Sophia cried a river, she didn't understand him at all. He was angry and now he is so mellow just for her to tell him the truth? What would he do with it? It is already too late to reverse these things.
She watched him struggle to remember, he held his head, gritted his teeth, growled, fell and fainted, but she couldn't move, she didn't have the strength to call for help.
She simply knelt down beside him and cried her heart out. She knew no one will hear them unless she called for help, but she was too weak to make a noise.
After sobbing for the whole of six hours, she pushed him and called his name to see if he would wake up.
He did, his eyes slowly opened and he asked again, "what did you say that I did to you? Sophia, please, tell me, help me remember if we have had a past together"
"I might be a little selfish now, because I am afraid that if you remember, you will hate me like you used to, you will make jest of me and bet with your friends to have you trick me to your bed again and I will hate myself the more" she smiled painfully, she doesn't even know herself anymore.
"What nonsense are you saying? Me? Hated you? Just tell me about it, did I really hurt you in the past? Sophia, come on" he squeezed her hands.
"Forget about what I said, Justin. Let's get out of this place, it is not good for your health, it is too cold in here" she said and stood up.
"Sophia, I don't know what happened between us in the past, I don't remember and you have refused to tell me about it, but I want you to know that what I feel for you is genuine love. I don't care about your past, you are right, no one is perfect. Let's forget about it and start a new us.
I know your friend told me all these out of jealousy, so I was furious, but I only wanted to hear the truth from you. It still hasn't changed my feelings for you, it hasn't changed who you are in my eyes and in my heart. I really love you, please, give me��us��a chance" he pleaded.
"What about me? What if I don't like you at all? What is even so great about me to love? If you want me, it's fine, I will give you sex, and stop saying what you don't mean" Sophia blurted.
"I know you love me, but you are hiding it because of whatever must have happened between us before. I joke with a lot of things, but I'm sure about loving you from my heart" he said and stood up to stand in front of her.
She laughed indignantly, "how would you know if I love you or not? Am not a child Mister, I know what I want, nobody knows that more than me"
"Can you look into my eyes and deny that you don't love me? When I kissed you, you were afraid you had fallen for me because you responded so quickly to my kiss and you shivered in my arms. Doesn't that count?" He declared.
"You are so unbelievable!" She breathed, took the booklets and left.
He smiled knowingly and followed her. No matter what has happened between them in the past that is scaring her so much and making her run away from him, he is determined to make amends and show her what love looks like.

Skyler caught Alex staring at Sophia's pictures, Alex was quick to deny it as he hid the photo under his pillow.
"I said it! You like her, don't you?" Skyler shook his head in disbelief.
"You are mad! I just found this picture and I was going to take it to her" Alex denied.
"How did you even get to print out her picture? Keep denying it, you like her. Just walk up to her and tell her you like her, it could be too late to do that later" Skyler advised.
