"I am your wife for crying out loud, don't I deserve to know at least the reason why I am going to Florida? Fred, I don't know you anymore, this is not what I bargained for," she bit her lip.
"Hey, honey, don't talk like that" Fred came to hold her. "I'm sorry, I�� it is true, I felt bad reading the newspaper and seeing what that man did to Mr and Mrs Williams, so it awakened the investigator in me and looking into the case was all I could do to help their surviving daughter"
"Are you kidding me? I thought we had discussed this and you promised me never to do that underground nonsense stuff or whatever again! Fred, when are we ever going to live like a normal couple? When will I enjoy my marriage like other women? What did I expect from a man that went to work on his wedding day and investigated on his wedding night?" She swatted his hand away.
"Honey, please, try to understand me. I'm sorry for keeping it from you and��"
"Keeping it from me doesn't bother me, but the outcome! Frederick, I will never forgive you for this!" She walked away angrily.
He followed her and waited by the door when she entered their children's room, he watched her pack their belongings and dress them up.
"Mom, where are we going?" Diana, their little girl asked. She is the first child, six years old.
Jerry, their second child is three years old. He packed his superman and Batman toys into his school bag, not wanting to leave any one of it behind.
Angelina glared at Fred before she looked at Diana and replied, "Sweetheart, we are going to Granny's house, she said she misses you and wants to spend time with you"
"Yeeeeah! Dad, why are you not packing too, are you not going?" Jerry looked at his father curiously as he jumped down from the bed.
"Dad has some business to take care of, but he promises to come as soon as he is done" Fred answered and forced a smile to his face.
"Oh, we are going to miss you" Diana chipped in with a frown.
"I know, I will miss you guys too. Don't give Mom a headache, obey granny and I will buy you anything you want when I am coming back" Fred said, his gaze fixed on Angelina.
When she was done with the kids, she left to her room to get dressed too. She dressed up quickly and ignored the urge to apply some make up. She is simply not in the mood.
She carried her already packed bag and turned to leave, but Fred stood in the doorway. "Excuse me, gentleman"
"My angel, it is not easy for me that you are going. I just want you guys to be safe while I take care of the situation here, I'm sorry that everything turned out this way" he apologized all over again.
"Frederick��"
"Call me honey, sweetie, baby, and not that fucking Frederick because it is only when you angry with me that you call me by my full name!" He ran his thumb over her lips.
"Really, do you think I am angry with you because I have to go far away with the kids? Hell no! It is because you are going to stay here and fight for other people's justice, you might get hurt or�� even die in the process! Have you ever thought of me in your investigating world?" She broke down to tears.
He gathered her into his arms and whispered words of promises to her ear, she buried her face in his arms and cried like their little child.
"Baby, I'm so sorry. I think of you in every world I am in, even in my dreams. When those thugs were shooting at me, I thought first of you and our babies. I just had to be safe to make sure you are okay" he said when she calmed down.
"I know there is nothing I will tell you that will change your mind about your decision, but you must be safe no matter what, I have your seed growing inside of me, you must come home for him" she said.
"You are pregnant?" He asked shocked, she nodded and placed his hand on her tummy. The signs are not there yet, but soon, it will be visible to the world.
"I found out yesterday, I was going to tell you, but�� anyway, I called Mom and told her, she already named him after your daddy" She smiled at him.
"Jimmy Junior" he murmured and kissed her tummy first, then her lips, "thank you, Angel. I love you so much"
"We will be waiting for you at home to come pick us, you must come home" she requested.
"I will remember that. I have already arranged with a driver to take you to the airport, I will follow behind to make sure you are safe before I go to work" he said and carried the bag for her.

Sophia was hesitant about opening the door and facing Justin, her hand has been at the door knob for the best of fifty-three minutes.
Where is the girl that was not shy to face him yesterday? Where is that girl that admitted that she was the one in the video? Where is that strength? Where is the courage? She thought.
"Do you plan to stand there all day?" Gena asked suspiciously.
Sophia jumped at the voice, she glanced at her and forced a smile to her face. "Oh. Hi, Gena. I remember you weren't told to keep watch of the inside, but the gates and the trainees, what do you want here?"
"Absolutely nothing at all! I was just strolling around, excuse me" Gena mused and left.
Sophia blew out a breath and pushed the door open without another second thought.
