Raiden's POV
SUNSHINE
"No," she grabbed my hand, still panting hard with a flushed face. "Please stop… this is wrong, please… "
"Keira… "
She kept pushing at me and I step back and watched as she adjusts her hoodie with a flushed face, avoiding my eyes.
Watching her, lean back against the car to hold her weight since she still found it hard to stand, I lean forward to help her, but she avoids my touch and limps Into the car, and the hand I attempted to help her with was still in the air.
Still in that position, I fist my hand as If I had gotten hold of her, and I hold it in place for a while before sighing and heading into the car.
There was so much tension between us as I sit there in the silence of the car, watching her from the mirror as she folded her arms and glanced down without a word.
"I'm sorry." I whisper, seeing the hurt and guilt in her eyes, but she doesn't reply and I just start up the car.
I knew where she lived since her dad invited me one time over to his house. She wasn't around, so it was just me and him having a heart to heart conversation. That happened to be when I was getting ready to leave for college.
He had made me promise he wouldn't bully my daughter again, and I kept to my word ..
As I drove, I suddenly remembered the party tomorrow, and my heart drops to the pit of my stomach.
I glance at her through the mirror again, and I see she was sleeping. She looked so cute and vunerable with her head bent that way as she slept that I found myself repeatedly sneaking glances at her as she slept.
Soon, we arrived Infront of her house, and I cherished the quiet, unawkward moment as I climb out of the car and open the door to hers to stare at her.
I don't realize how long I've been staring at her until she slowly wakes up, and almost falls off her seat when she sees me.
"R- Raiden?"
"Hey. We're here."
"Here?" She looked confused which made her a lot more cuter that I didn't bother to tell her anything. "W- where?" She looked out the window and when she sees her house, her eyes widened when the memories come flooding back, and she finds it hard to look me in the eyes again as she redenned.
"H- how long have I been sleeping.. "
I shrug. "Not too long.. "
She suddenly ran her eyes down the length of me, before looking at my face, avoiding my eyes, but each time she did, she would stare at my lips, so she settled for her fingers.
"Were you… staring at me the entire time I slept… you should have just woken me up."
"It's not like I kissed you while you were alseep.. " I blurt out and watch as she flushed red.
I really enjoy watching her blush.
I helped her down, and the entire time I did, I could see the wary look she shot me as she headed inside after muttering a thank you.
With that, I climb into my car and head back to Sasha's place. On the way, I bought Libby the croissant and gotta some for Sasha too.
Even though I was heading back to my girlfriend's place, Keira was actually on my mind. I would hit the steering wheel once in a while and furiously rake my hand through my hair as I thought about all the dirty things I would have done to her if she hadn't been so guilty.
She was one hell of a person.
How could she feel so guilty for Sasha- someone who had made her life in school a living hell.
And yet…
I was this close to having her. I wouldn't have minded taking her first right there with her back against the car and my bandana wrapped around her knees.
I soon arrived home and I met Libby lying down in the dinning room with her cheek to her homework which was half done.
She was so cute.
Like Keira.
I take her upstairs to her room and the entire time she doesn't even stirr in her sleep or wake up, so I decide to keep her croissant for later.
"Sasha! I'm home… " I yell as I approached her room. Usually, she'd run out to jump right on me when I return from wherever I went to, but I hadn't caught sight of her the entire time I returned.
When I get into the room, I see her texting on her phone, and when she raises her head, she does not look happy.
"Sasha?"
She climbs of the bed and approaches me with the screen of her phone directly pointed straight at me.
"What the fuck is this?"
I roll my eyes and walk past her, dropping the bag of croissant on the desk.
"Raiden! I'm talking to you." She yell in that tone of hers and barr my way again, shoving the phone into my hands to have a better view.
So that's what I did, I stare at the picture before handing it back to her.
"What's wrong with the picture?"
"It's gone viral. Everyone's calling and asking if we broke up or something."
"Keira just wanted somewhere to sit and have coffee and I offered her a spot to sit.. "
"I'd rather she'd have her coffee on the roof than sit with you on a VIP table, Raiden."
"Look, I was just being nice okay… it's not like we were fucking on the table… for god's sake Sasha!"
I turn away from her and sit on the bed to take off my shirt, but the next second, she's right Infront of me and I sighed out loud, holding the bridge of my nose.
"You were being nice??" There was an edge to her voice. "when did you start being nice to that freak."
Hearing her call my mate freak made my blood boil, but I just ignored her. "You told me to, remember? Have you forgotten so soon? You said we all had to be nice to her till after the party. So why are you mad all of a sudden?"
Suddenly I could see she wasn't focused on me but on my shirt as I made to pull it off.
"What's this?"
I follow her hands reaching out for my shirt, and my eyes widen on seeing a stain on my shirt.
"Is this… red lipstick?"
Shit.
