CHAPTER 98: PLANNING (1)

"Tsk! You choose the wrong person to fight." Dark Spincer spat some blood from his mouth while looking at the dead monster he had killed.

He then turned over to a beast that looked like an ox but stood on two feet. It has human hands. And, its green eyes stare in awe at Dark Spincer.

"Now, tell me how a strong spirit beast like you had yourself easily caught by Revioryx?"

"We were deceived…" The spirit beast who was Taurus begins to tell the stories of the past.

Dark Spincer's eyes widened after listening to it.

"But Kairi said except for me and Dark Howlan, everyone else had their emblem changed to Bright Star. Draco too. So, what do you mean by Draco who helped Revioryx to catch us?!"

"It may sound absurd to your ears but this is the truth. Do you think someone like me would fall in Revioryx's hand that easily?"

Taurus releases his power. The pressure from the power turns their rocky surroundings into ashes. Even Dark Spincer felt his body want to kneel toward the power. He gasped when Taurus took back his power.

"I don't know why he would help Revioryx but you must be careful when you see him. He has mystic power. A power beyond this world's understanding. And, the one you see as Dark Kurumi is only his vessel. His real nature is a dragon beast with greed and pride. You must know all dragons never bow to anyone. Not even the gods." Taurus warned him.

Dark Spincer thought for a moment before he nodded. As for Dark Kurumi who he knows, he felt that he was always mysterious and now, becoming even more. He doesn't seem to like following Revioryx's orders before. He wonders what made Draco of the past deceive them, and how could Queen Siarah agree to marry him. Seems like the past was not that simple after all.

"Go back and tell the Master of Stellars to watch his back. Even if Dark Kurumi is his blood brother, he must be cautious against him." Taurus' body glows.

Dark Spincer once again nodded. He disappeared from the emblem realm where Kairi had sent him before. When he woke up in his real body, he was in the same infirmary as Dark Kage had been before.

"Great! You finally woke up. Take this." Dark Undria was already waiting for him.

By his side were the cold Ledeigh and some Deorc Star users. They surround his bed.

"What's that?" Dark Spincer asked because Dark Undria was giving him a glass of dark red colour.

Don't tell him it was…

"Blood. Kairi said we need to feed you this because your body is not fully human. Don't worry. I already tested everyone's blood here. They don't have anything that would give you allergic symptoms." Dark Undria explains with a smile.

"... You experimented on my blood, didn't you?" Dark Spincer's eyes twitched.

They must have got it when he was asleep. He sighed before he was forced to drink it because everyone was staring at him like they might force him themselves. It seems they already knew what he was and what he needed to live on.

He could see all their emblems had changed to white. Even Dark Howlan. And the latter looked so grumpy. Then, his eyes went to Dark Kurumi who was there too.

"What?" Dark Kurumi folded his hands on his chest.

Dark Spincer finished his glass first before he gave back the glass to Dark Undria. Suddenly, he disappeared, shocking everyone there. They only realised a second later that Dark Spincer had slammed Dark Kurumi to the wall behind them. The wall cracked into a thousand pieces.

"Spincer! What are you doing?!" Everyone shouted and went to grab him to release Dark Kurumi.

"Stay where you are! I just want to ask him something." Dark Spincer commanded them.

They stopped their action when they heard him. Still, they were confused.

"Wha, What's going on here?!" Aquarius and Pisces came in from the door and were stunned by the situation.

"Spincer, release him. Or I might hurt you." Another voice sounded and it sounded angry, too.

"Kairi!"

Everyone realised Kairi appeared beside them with Rafiz, Ziphoteninx and Kironinx.

Dark Spincer ignored them all. "I said I want to ask him."

Dark Kurumi chuckled. "Then, could you release me first. You're really not polite."

Dark Spincer stares at him. "No. Who knows if you might escape."

"Why would I escape?" Dark Kurumi was confused now.

"Then, I will ask you and your answer will be witnessed by everyone. Guys, if he doesn't tell us the truth, I will not let him go."

"Huh?" Everyone feels strange now.

They don't understand why Dark Spincer wanted to do this. Dark Spincer didn't wait for everyone to say anything.

"My first question. Why did your spirit beast help Revioryx to capture Taurus five hundred years ago? Don't try to lie because I might crush your neck."

"What?!" Everyone inhales after listening to it.

As for Dark Kurumi, his eyes widened in shock. He didn't answer for a moment, and his eyes became dull. It sharpened the next second.

"He didn't want to tell me." He answered.

Everyone there understood his sentences. He meant the Draco spirit beast didn't want to talk about it. Dark Spincer glared.

"Then, are you our enemy or not?"

"No."

Dark Kurumi's voice didn't waver, and Dark Spincer couldn't detect a lie in it. He and Dark Kurumi stare at each other for a long time before Dark Spincer backs away and releases him.

"Kairi, Taurus wants me to tell you to be careful with the Draco spirit beast. But not your brother." He turned to Kairi next.

Kairi nodded in understanding. "Thank you. Brother, are you alright?"

Dark Kurumi nodded as he moved his shoulders.

"Damn. Did your strength increase or what?" He asked Dark Spincer.

"Heh! You should ask my spirit beast. He boosted me up to beat you."

Dark Kurumi rolled his eyes at him before folding his hands.

"Firstly, I don't know anything of the past. Not even from the Draco spirit beast. And second, it was Sir Ziphoteninx and Sir Kironinx who told me about Revioryx's existence."

"Yes, I can testify for it." Ziphoteninx agreed.

"Then, how did you defeat the monster capturing Draco?" Dark Kage asked.

This question made some of them frown. If Draco's spirit beast was helping Revioryx, doesn't that mean Draco was not captured like their spirit beasts?

"Actually, I didn't fight any monsters at all. I met him with the help of Kairi two years ago. My emblem didn't change to white back then so I could still spy over everyone in Dorothia."

"What he says is the truth. I met Draco spirit beast with him. All I can say about the spirit beast is that his power truly is beyond Ziphoteninx or Kironinx's level of power. But, he doesn't want to help us defeat Revioryx."

"What?! Why?!" Everyone asked.

Kairi shakes his head. "I don't know. Even if I am the Master of Stellars, I could not control them. It is their own will whether to follow me or not. Draco spirit beast probably has something he plans but he is not vicious. He is… How should I say…? He has great wisdom like the gods would be."

"You're saying like he knows everything that would happen. Can he see the future like Markia or something?" Dark Ceilius feels suspicious.

"Well, he is a dragon. You know how mysterious a dragon can be. They are watchers of all living things. What transpired will have nothing to do with them. But, at least he still let my brother have some of his power."

Dark Kurumi nodded. "If he gave it all to me, maybe I couldn't take it and die."

"That's good to know. Hopefully, he didn't pit us against Revioryx later." Dark Gomy shuddered.

Some nodded in agreement.
