CHAPTER 87: MARRIAGE, RINGS & GIFT (2)

Aries chuckled and switched on the fan. She aimed it at her mould that she had finished decorating. Kairi put his mould under the fan too. They raised their eyebrows when the ring hardened in a few seconds.

Well, they were not surprised much. The goddess might have given some strange things to them but did help them save time to harden them.

"It's done, Miss Saffrina," Kairi told her.

Saffrina flashes beside them and makes the rings come out of their mould and float in the air. Since it was made of hardened liquid, the rings were clear inside. Everyone was still amazed by the pair's decoration just by using those flowers, paddy and glitters.

Kairi even cut the dark gold part of the paddy to become small branches around a gold flower. As for Aries, she also chose a gold flower but cut the green flower petal and shaped it into leaves before putting it under the gold flower. The rest part of the rings were sprinkled with gold and silver glitters. The outcome was beautiful.

Saffrina was satisfied with the rings. "I am very pleased by such wonderful creativity. Now, let's make it more unique."

With her power, the ring's material changes. The clear part becomes glistening in silver steel while the glittering part becomes real gold. Same for the flowers that were no longer inside the ring but become a carving on one part of it with a diamond stone in the middle.

Everyone gasped at the changes. It looks stunning and more elegant. Saffrina moves the two rings to the couple.

"You may exchange your rings now." She told them.

Kairi and Aries took each other's rings and faced each other while standing again.

"My heart will always be with you till my death, my wife," Kairi told Aries while putting the ring on her right finger.

Aries feels like she wants to cry. She has too much happiness that overwhelms her entire being. Her fingers tremble when she wants to put the ring on Kairi's finger. Still, she managed to put it on and looked at him with glistening eyes.

"I will always stay with you since you have given me your heart. Forever I will only have you and no one else as my husband." He told him with a promise.

Kairi didn't expect it and suddenly felt like he wanted to cry too. He kissed her forehead lovingly. When he does that, everyone around clapped their hands.

"Congratulations, Your Majesties! I proclaim you are now husband and wife! Hope you both have a happy life together!" Saffrina said to them.

"Thank you so much for your time, Miss Saffrina." Kairi looked at her while hugging Aries waist.

"Thank you for coming too." Aries thanked her.

"No problem."

Saffrina returns their surroundings back to the big hall. After that, Aries' parents and Kairi's families came to congratulate the newlywed couple. One by one, their friends also wish them a happy marriage. The Deorc Star users who were now close to them also wished it too. They won't be left behind since Kairi was their leader of Bright Star.

"Ah, it's my turn now. " Angelote was the last person who appeared to congratulate them.

Aries raised one eyebrow at him. "Why did you stand at the last line for? You're close just now, aren't you?"

Angelote grins. "That's because I'm going to give my gift last. It is something important and hopefully, it will help Kairi live longer."

He turned his head to Kairi. Everyone there was confused by his last sentences. Even Aries' parents and Rafael look over at them.

"The truth is I really don't want to make my enemy find this world but this seems to be an emergency. Sorry, everyone. You can beat me up later, 'kay?"

"Huh? What are you saying, Angelote?" Aries was starting to get a bad feeling.

Angelote didn't answer and he no longer let them wait on what he was going to do. He uttered a spell that almost sounded like an old language. Everyone was shocked when a field of something carved in a half crescent moon appeared below him. The moon has many carved things on it like hieroglyphs.

When the field appeared, his hair and eyes changed their colour. His hair has turned silvery-white while his eyes have turned bright golden.

"Des Toi Ari Ei... Olo Nas Ki Fikn Mos Ei... Aie Jeh Ne Angelote, Tyu Toi Ari Sazen! Nuien Jak Ei! Dam Jeh Kiro Kou Ene Ha Zi Wraen Yuyuta! Ruip Ne Eneta Olo Masu Seh! (Oh lunar of the night... Which is the extension of my power... I am Angelote, the user of the power of the Moonglyph! Fulfil my wishes! Erase the curse on this person's body and get rid of it forever! Restore him to his perfect body once more!)"

His right hand lifted toward Kairi. Instantly the crescent moon below him made a copy under the latter. Aries was pushed away when Kairi felt his curse wants to come out. He doesn't want to hurt her.

"Kairi!" Aries and other shouts in fear.

They want to get close but the field gives them a lot of pressure. Ziphoteninx and Kironinx appear above but they just watch with disbelieving eyes.

"Angelote, what are you doing?!" Jaaq yelled at him.

Angelote didn't reply. His focus was on the curse and he had no time to do anything else while he was using his hidden power. A second later, they saw Kairi fall to his knee while holding his neck with one hand. He was sweating profusely and his expression showed him that he was feeling a lot of pain.

"Kairi!!!"

Some want to attack Angelote for hurting Kairi while the others want to get to Kairi and release him from the field. They stop when they hear Andreit's voice in their head.

"Don't move. Just watch. He is saving your king's life."

They were shocked but still felt so anxious while looking at Kairi. Unbeknownst to them, Angelote was encouraging Kairi to hold on through their telepathy.

"You can do it, Kairi! Just a little more and you would be free!"

"Urgh!"

Kairi understood Angelote's power was helping him remove the curse. However, it was like the feeling of scraping your skin to the bone slowly with a knife. He didn't shout out because he didn't want to worry everyone there even more.

He could only grit his teeth hard and hold on. He couldn't even think if it would work or not since Visyilan couldn't remove it either.

A few minutes later, the field disappeared. Angelote feels his legs weaken and slump to the floor. But his body didn't hit it because Dark Kurumi, who was close by, grabbed his body first and moved him down slowly. Angelot's body also sweats a lot and he pants heavily.

"God… I thought I was gonna die just now…" He said.

"You… You are crazy…" Kairi told him while panting heavily too.

Angelote huffed and began to laugh.

"Kairi! Are you alright?" Aries and others got close to him.

Kairi nodded at her slightly with a small smile. He took a deep breath and suddenly a powerful aura whirled around the room. His body slowly glows in white light before it disappears. He slowly stood up while everyone looked astonished at him.

"The curse is gone and my power is back."

He announced with eyes glowing bright green.
