CHAPTER 97: DARK SPINCER (2, 1)

Eridanus attacks Dark Spincer with his ring-shaped weapon. The outer side of the ring has a sharp blade. With his mind, he controlled the movement of the floating ring himself.

The number of rings was large and moved fast towards Dark Spincer. Dark Spincer summoned his weapon out and brushed aside all the rings. He jumped when there was a ring trying to cut off his legs.

He twirled his weapon before making one of the rings that came towards him back to Eridanus again. Eridanus removed the ring that was heading towards him and attacked Dark Spincer with other rings. The latter dodged them swiftly.

"Hey, you don't want to give up yet?" Cetus asked when Dark Howlan couldn't move in his power of gravity.

He had arrived to help Eridanus take care of Dark Howlan. Dark Howlan looked at him with an angry growl.

"Let go of me, you bastard!"

Dark Spincer glanced at them and sighed. He already knew Dark Howlan would not be able to defeat Cetus whose powers could control the weight of objects around him. Its power was a little intimidating but Dark Spincer knew the weakness of that power. It's just that he won't tell Dark Howlan about it.

"Hey! I'm your opponent!" Eridanus barked when Dark Spincer didn't seem to take him seriously.

Dark Spincer smiled. "Yes, yes, I know that, Eridanus. But, you are not strong enough to defeat me with such attacks. Make up a new one," he replied and ran towards Eridanus while clashing with Eridanus' weapon

Eridanus smiled. "Heh! You think that's all I have?!"

Dark Spincer was startled when Eridanus' weapon appeared from under the roof he stepped on and jumped to dodge but part of his body was slashed by the sudden attack. The ring's attack speeds up towards him, causing him to bend down to his back and use his hands to make a jump upside down in the air.

He noticed Eridanus was holding two semi-circular shaped objects. It’s like Eridanus' rings have been split in two and their sizes were bigger than the size of the rings before. Now, it's as big as Eridanus' hand and Eridanus uses it to swing at Dark Spincer while his rings simultaneously attack too.

Meanwhile, Dark Howlan and Cetus stared at each other.

"Cetus!"

Cetus turned to Dark Hartina who had just arrived with the others.

"Ah, I manage to catch him," Cetus grinned mockingly at Dark Howlan and made the latter curse at him.

"Em..." Dark Hartina feels pity toward Dark Howlan who was lying flat on the roof.

Dark Howlan was struggling to move his body. Dark Hartina's pity was gone in a second since Cetus did the right thing anyway.

"Release me!" Dark Howlan shouted angrily.

"He didn't use his howls?" Rafiz asked because Dark Howlan can still use his voice.

"I think he exhausted a lot of powers. If he still had some he would have used it by now." Dark Hartina telepathy him while letting Kairi and others hear him too.

Cetus replied with a nod. "You can see by his black bag under his eyes and his messy clothes. Same for Dark Spincer too. But, Dark Spincer doesn't look tired at all. Truly a second-ranked Deorc Star user."

"Why are you praising him for?! Come help me beat this guy!" Eridanus growled.

He had heard their conversation and felt irritated. Everyone smiled before Rafiz went to help. He does have a grudge against Dark Spincer anyway.

"Don't kill him, okay? Just tired him out." Kairi reminded them.

"Noted!" Eridanus and Rafiz replied simultaneously.

Though the hidden revenge on Dark Spincer was still unable to subside. Yet, they try to lower their anger. Still, after getting mocked by Dark Spincer for their weak attacks, they couldn't help but release stronger attacks on him.

Kairi sighed while facepalm. He had to use his power to make a barrier around their fighting area. He also used mind control on the people below to leave the area and ensure no one got near.

"I'll help them." Dark Hartina's eyes twitched after seeing the fight too.

"No need. Just stay here so you won't get in their way of revenge…" Kairi stops him.

"I'll just let them have an hour then. Should be enough." He continued.

Kairi makes a table and chairs appear on the flat roof near them and sit on one of the chairs. Kironinx follows up by making a teapot, teacups and some sweets appear before sitting on one chair. Dark Hartina was stunned by Kairi's calm demeanour and then he shrugged. He too went to sit around the table and have a sip of tea.

"I guess I can tell you guys which stellar users are Dark Spincer and Dark Howlan." Kairi started to chat again.

He got interrupted by Dark Howlan barking angrily at them. "You guys are a piece of shit! You dare to have a picnic here while we fight?!"

Suddenly, he couldn't voice out a sound anymore. It startled him and he turned to Kairi.

Kairi blinked his eyes at him. "Why are you looking at me like that? I didn't do anything. He did."

He pointed at Kironinx who felt annoyed by Dark Howlan shrieking. The latter makes Dark Howlan's voice disappear. Well, not permanently.

However, what he did made Dark Howlan madder. Although without a sound they could still see his lips move to curse them. Cetus laughed and went near him. He nudged Dark Howlan's head with a stick that he got out of nowhere and played with it.

Dark Howlan turns his head to bite the stick and crush it into two. It makes Cetus grin more at him and get a new stick to poke his body next.

Kairi and the others' eyes twitched. They couldn't tell whether Cetus was mature or not right now. He looked like a child that just found a new toy.

"Ehem! Where was I? Ah yes. Dark Spincer is the Taurus user while Dark Howlan is the Columba user." He told them.

"Now, we only need to find Tucana." Dark Hartina sighed. "But where could he be? Don't say he was in the Eridan Kingdom. That place will be hard for us to get in now."

He started to worry.

"Hartina, she's not there. I did a check when I got there to save Kage, Amilia and Ceilius."

Dark Hartina was startled to hear it. "Then, where could he be?"

"Probably Dark Chronos has hidden her somewhere." Kironinx guessed.

Kairi nodded in agreement.

"The only way we can search for Tucana is to have all 31 stellars spirit beasts gather. With their power, they can sense where Tucana is located. I'm afraid Tucana is no longer in this world. She might be in another place that we cannot reach unless we have everyone's help." Kairi explained.

"Wait, Kairi. How about the emblem realm? Can't the other spirit beast there know where the Tucana spirit beast is?"

"I have asked them after Kage woke up. They said Tucana is not there. It's like he's gone missing. The only guess I have is that the Tucana spirit beast didn't go back to the emblem realm. He probably is with his user. He is smart. With his presence that can be sensed by other spirit beasts, we will find their location soon."

Dark Hartina was glad to hear it. He hopes they will be able to find Dark Reammut soon.

"Alright. One hour is up. It's time to stop them," Kairi stood up from his chair.

Currently, Rafiz and Eridanus have wounds all over their bodies. As for Dark Spincer, he too was the same.

"Shit! I shouldn't have let them hurt me just now. Urgh... My thirst is getting stronger..." Dark Spincer thought silently while feeling a little dizzy.

His eyes were attracted to some droplets of blood on the roof. It was mixed with his and the two of them. Instantly, a pair of fangs grew in his mouth. The black pupils of his eyes turned to red vertical. The changes startled Rafiz and Eridanus. They instantly jump a few metres away from him.

"What the heck?" They thought before they saw two fangs emerge from inside Dark Spincer's mouth.

Such scenes disturbed them a bit. Even Kairi and others who saw Dark Spincer changes were surprised.

"What is he?!" Cetus gulped.
