Eve's POV
    
  "Mr. Maya is back" Helen whispered to me as soon she opened the door to let me in...
    "Eve" I sighted Mr. Maya in the living room with a visitor.
  "Good evening" I mumbled...wondering if I didn't get on his nerves by going out without informing him.
    
"Where are you coming from Eve?" Mr. Maya asked me.
 "I didn't tell him that you went to the supermarket" Helen whispered to me again.
   "Errm I... went to see a friend" I said.
 "Do you already have friends around here?"
    "Yea..h, kind of" I stammered.
   "Is it a male friend?" He asked me.
  "No, he is not... I mean; No" I said.
 "Hmm... You are now a married lady Eve; you should cut off every friend you have... and even boyfriend. They'll mislead you" He said. Is that supposed to be an advise? Duh.
    
   I stood there; scratching my hair that wasn't even itching.
    "Come closer" He beckoned me and I obeyed.."Meet Andrew" He said;
    "Hello...my pleasure meeting with you" The guy waved at me and I just nodded.
    
   "Andrew; her name is Eve... Eve, Andrew will be the one to drive you down to the company henceforth" Mr. Maya said.
    "Oh" I mouthed.
 "Since Liam won't be here anymore. I hired Andrew... And he would be here every morning then later after work; you put a call through him to pick you up" Mr. Maya said.
  "Thank..you sir" I appreciated him.
    
    "Can I have your phone Eve?" The Andrew guy asked me.
 "Why?"
    "So that I could save my number" He replied.
    "Oh Okay" I gave him my phone.
   "Saved as Andrew" He said giving the phone back to me. 
 I received it and went back upstairs...and Helen followed me immediately.
    
    "Now tell me where are you coming from, 'cos it's definitely not the supermarket.. you didn't even come back with the bag you took along with you" She said immediately after we got to my room
   "Thank you for saving my ass Helen" I took a very deep sign of relief. "I actually went to a friend's place and somehow, somewhat...i gave uhm..him..her the bag"
  "Since when did you start making friends Eve" She asked me but I didn't say anything; "You are being suspicious Helen, did you go out with your boyfriend?" She asked me.
   "No, no, no. I told you that I do not have a boyfriend"
    
 "Find one... "  She voiced out.
    "What? I am still married to Mr. Maya" I told her.
    "So what? Are you tryna call it cheating?" She retorted and I was mute.
   "Listen, the old man is happy because he has other ladies out there but here you are; tryna play a good girl but you are sad deep down about the marriage. I'll urge you to find a guy that makes you happy too" Helen said.
    
   I rolled my eyes and murmured; "Do you have a boyfriend?"
    "I'll date whoever I like not who likes me. In short, if the feeling is mutual, I'll go ahead" She responded and I understood what she was tryna say.
    
    "Helen, I am gonna sign the papers" I informed her, bringing it out from where I kept it.
  "Aren't you afraid of him anymore?"
  "Not really, I would sign the papers and act smart" I whispered and she understood.
   "Give me a high five Eve" She raised her hand up and shaped mine."So Madam Theresa brought the sleeping pills today; I would give it to you later" Helen said.
   "Sure it has no side effects?" I asked her.
 "Why do you care? you should be praying that he sleeps till death and go to hell" Helen said.
  "Jeez, no Helen. We are not killing Mr. Maya" I murmured.
   "What..what if someone's eavesdropping right now, he or she would think we are really planning to kill him. Hell no. The pills would make him sleep for almost twelve hours" Helen told me.
   "Twelve hours? That's literally half a day" I blurted.
"Stop being so concerned Eve, He deserves even more" She scolded me.
    "Hmmn Okay"
    I took out a pen and sign the papers...
    
   "Go give it to him now and tell him to go to hell" Helen said.
    "Helen!" I cautioned and she was laughing.
 "I'll go give him now"
    "Be an actress" She said when I was about to leave the room.
    "Why? What do you mean by that?" I questioned her.
    "Put on a smile....a small smile" I smiled...
    "Now good.. Wink" I did.
  "Perfect, This is the way you should communicate with him. A normal face and a frown makes it obvious that you are not interested in him at all. Mr. Maya might be studying you and then one day he bounces back" Helen said.
    "Yeah, Liam said his father can be so cunny that I won't know his next move" I told her.
    
   "Oh Liam! I must admit that I miss that bold yet sweet guy and I have come to realize that he is" She said and I smiled..:" I know what you are thinking right now but no, I am not crushing" She said.
    "I wasn't even thinking anything"
    "Whatever, now go... I'll be right here, I'll show up in the next seven minutes if you are back yet. Don't forget to smile and wink, try to be seductive, a fake one okay?" She advised me
    "Roger that!" I told her...while she watched me walk down the stairs...

    They weren't in the living room (Mr. Maya and Andrew). So I went straight to Mr Maya's room.
    "It's Eve" I said after knocking on the door.
   "Oh Eve... What a surprise visit...in my room" He opened the door and let me in.
 "What about Andrew?" I asked.
    "He would be back tomorrow morning...to pick you up, I told you that earlier." He replied.
   "Oh that's right" I muttered... I left space between us by slowly moving backward.
    "Are you still upset with me that I went out of the house?" I asked him.
    "No dear; of course not" He responded.
    
 I smiled then gave him the papers..." I have signed them" I told him.
  "Oh My God! " He exclaimed..collected the papers, went through them then kept them aside.
    
   "Come over here Eve" He said spreading his hands out.
    I gave him a funny smile then hugged him... What was I expecting from him? Just a hug? Of course not... He caresses my butt as usual..
    "Don't worry, I would be very gentle with you" He told me.
 "No, You are the one who shouldn't be in a rush.  I'm spending the whole night with you" I whispered back and looks like that response made all his nerves calm... I was able to get away from him without pushing him.
    
    "Tonight, immediately after dinner... I'm all yours" I winked at him.
    "That sounds too good..a special dinner after the main dinner" He said grinning.
   "Exactly" I smiled..already walking towards his door.
He blew a kiss at me... with that old stinky mouth of his.
    
    Immediately I got out of his room, I hissed...
    Then I saw Helen...
    "I didn't come at the right time" She said.
    "Nah he couldn't even have his way" I whispered, pulling her away from there...so that we could communicate better.
 "I promised him that we would have our first night together this night" I told her and she opened her mouth.
    
    "I would put the sleeping pills in his drink" I told her.
    "Gosh I love the way you think" She said, making me smile.
"Thanks to you and Madam Theresa" I retorted.
    "You know I'm the one in charge of the food, serving and stuff, so just leave it for me to handle" She patted my shoulder.
    "You are so sweet Helen. I love you" I said giving her a tight hug.
    
   "Darn it! go change into something else Eve! You smell of Mr. Maya" She said.
   "I rebuke it" I furrowed... "I would go have a thorough shower and change into something else... I don't ever want to have Mr. Maya's whiff whiff " I said and she laughed at me.
    
  "I'll be in the kitchen, getting everything all set" She said.
   "Please do that quickly. I am very hungry" I told her.
    "Why won't you be very hungry?" She emphasised dramatically. "So you went to see a friend and he or she didn't even offer you something to eat" She said and I gave an eye roll.
