Eve's POV










    As soon as I got off the car, Mark drove in and packed behind.




    Jeez I thought he was supposed to be at Liam's.. because I was somewhat nervous that he found out about us so I left both of them.




    "Hi" I muttered to him slowly.




 How do we find a way to stay totally away from Mr Maya and also release myself from this mess, so that Liam and I can at least be together without any fear. It so unheard! I am in love and secretly in affair with my stepson. Jeez.




 "Don't be afraid, it's not that bad. Aside that, I'm not telling him about it" Mark said as if he knew that I was thinking about and I smiled a bit as we walked into the house together.




     




    We met Mr Maya with a Lady on their way to the door. This one is different from the slut he brought in the last time. I looked at the floor as I paved the way for them. Mr Maya didn't even say a word to me instead he was caressing the lady's a** as they made their way. Funny enough, that same lady winked her eyes at Mark but Mark smirked back.




    




   "You see, my father is not even bothered about you, so do your thing...please be free" Mark said to me after they left and I nodded.. Yeah, Janet said the same thing. Everyone literally wants me to follow my heart. He walked up the stairs first then I went after him..




   "Oops!" I was shocked at first when I found out that someone in my room then I figured out that it was Helen. She had earpieces on as she pressed her phone oblivious of my presence.




 "You scared me!" I got her attention and she giggled.




  




    "I'm just trying to block my ears from hearing those loud moans" She said as she took the earpiece off.




   "They just went out now" I told her as I sat on the bed and took off my shoes tiredly.




   "And how was work?" She asked me.




 I stared into the space for a moment before saying;" Fine "




    "And the guy?" She asked me, I rolled my eyes and repeated the word "Fine"




    




 She wanted to resume her usual conversation with me about whoever my anonymous boyfriend was..but Mr Maya called her from downstairs.




    




 "Oh Jeez! It's time to go cook and I don't know what this man wants from me" She grumbled as she stood up reluctantly.




  "Just be careful with him okay?" I said and I watched her leave.




    




    Haven had my batg and changed into a casual outfit, I picked up my phone to call my father. Yeah! I promised to always check up on him.




We spoke for a while and he didn't sound like he was feeling any form of discomfort at all..he was also so glad to hear from me..but then, he asked after Mr Maya when I was just about to hung the call... I lied to him again that Mr Maya sent his regards through me because he is occupied with work.




Whereas, he's occupied with woeing me and bringing home sluts.




    




    Immediately I ended the call with my father, I sighted Janet's contact on the line. Yeah, I already plan to call her today. I dailed her number..at the same time I was eager to hear from her.




   ~ "Hello Janet" I said as soon as she picked up the call.




  ~"Eve?" She recongized my voice.




~ "Janet I'm so excited that I could finally reach you" I told her and I thought I would get that same happy vibe from her.




~"How are you Eve?" She spoke gloomy..




~ "Janet there's definitely a lot to say to eachother and.." She interrupted me.




~ "I'm sorry Eve" She suddenly said.




  ~ "What are you sorry about?"




~ "Eve..I don't know what to say. But just make sure you are fine okay?" She said..and she doesn't seem happy to hear from me.




 ~ "Ye..ah" I replied with that same solemn tone she was giving me.




   I wondered what was wrong her yet I tried to start a proper conversation with her..




~ "Janet, do you know how I got your number, I saw your mom...she works with this old man that I..that I got married to ... Your mom also told me you are in college now.. " She disconnected the call immediately.




 ~ "Janet" I uttered then glanced at my phone..




   Why won't she speak to me? What's wrong? Besides why was she apologizing? Is it because she didn't reach out to me...no, we both didn't have eachother's number.




    I tried to call her number again but she already switched off her phone

Eve's POV

    "Now I know why you are always dressing gorgeously these days" Mark said, that morning when I was about to leave for work. I met him in the living room and I was just coming down from the stairs.. I more a new cooperate office and applied just a little make up.




    "Good morning and thank you..." I said to him, blushing secretly.

  "Do you know that my brother actually loves when a girl dresses..."

    "Shiii" I shushed him. when I saw Helen coming out of the kitchen with a tray.

  "Why did you both stop talking as soon as I came in?" She asked, looking at the both of us suspiciously.

 Mark glared at me and I mouthed to him..: "She's not aware"

   "Nothing. Talking about random things"Mark answered Helen, who obviously didn't believe.

  "I'll like to know what that random stuff is all about" Helen said.

 "Oh is that for me?" I took the glass cup filled with juice that was in the tray that she was holding, then I gulped it at once and return the cup..

    "Okay bye.." I said..rushing to the door..before anymore questions.. I hope she'll settle that with Mark.




    "Eve" Gosh! Mr Maya is awake... He called me back when I was about to open the door.

 "She's about to go to work" Mark said first.

  "I'm also about to leave for work" He said and I put on a small smile and said to him; "Good morning Mr Maya,  Andrew is already waiting for me outside"I told him.

 "I know right, I want to talk to you Eve" He said then walked a distance away, waiting for me to follow him.. I grumbled behind him then walked sluggishly to meet him.

    "What?" I asked him.

  "There was a lady here with me yesterday" He said.

    "Yes, I saw her. Why are you telling me about her?"

    "No, not that one. There was another lady here yesterday night.You probably didn't know but she spent the night with me and left early this morning" He said.

  "What a shame" I murmured then folded my hand and said;"Okay" I wondered why he was telling me about that; just because I gave him the full permission to do whatever he wants. It's not even like he's heeding to my permission.. He has been bring sluts home even before I arrived. I do not care.

  "Eve... the lady and I had s*x and I remembered everything. Why do I not always remember that I usually f*ck you" He said raising his voice. Mark and Helen could hear.

    I swallowed my saliva. I didn't know that was what he wanted to say.

    "I..I don't know" I stammered.

 "Are you up to something Eve? " He came closer to me.. "Why do I feel sleepy while having s*x with you, that's even if we did" He said..

    I didn't know what to say, so I only moved back steadily.

    "She has to go now" Helen came to my aid.

  "Stay out of this Helen, I'm having a conversation with my wife" Mr Maya said..

    "But she just replied you, you probably feel sleepy whenever you have her in your bed; more reasons why she is no good for you" Helen said as she held my hand pulled away from there.

  "Come to think of it Dad, don't you feel like you are molesting Eve?" Mark said.

    Oh no... Mark is not aware of the pills yet, he might think that I actually do have s*x with him. Whereas he now knows about Liam and I. He shouldn't think I'm sleeping with his father yet having an affair with his brother. 

    "Go now, we'll sort it out" Helen said as she led me to the door.
