Chapter 14 Found Fourteen

I'm here at one of the boutiques of my Mom to get outfits for Vince for his shoots.



I know that I should be excited because aside from being with my favorite place, which is the set, my best friend Anne will also be there and, of course, Andrew, my supposed love life, but didn't push through.



But no matter how hard I tried to make myself okay, I still feel hurt. Because as time goes by, I am slapped by the truth, that the girl Andrew likes is not me but Anne. And no matter how hard I deny it to myself, I know that I am starting to fall for Andrew.





But at least the truth slaps to my face this early. I think I can still forget him. I can still guard my heart not to fall completely.



"You okay, Miss?"



I look at the owner of that voice.



I saw a very handsome man who is looking at me seriously and a bit worried.



I just nodded at him.



Then I was taken aback when he touches my face and wiped something on my face.



"So what's this?" He said, then he showed me his hands with tears on them.



That is when I touch my face and realized that it is my tears. I didn't notice that my tears are already flowing.



"Nothing." I just said to him.



I am not ready to tell anyone what I am feeling right now.



'Fine. I won't force you if you don't want to share with me the reason why you are crying." He said seriously, and then he went back to choose some clothes.



"You need anything?" I offered him a hand because he looks like he needs some help.



His brow raised at me.



I swallowed hard. 'I'm the daughter of the owner of this shop," I said shyly.



"Oh, I see. I need a set of suits for an event next week." He said.



"What kind of event? Is it formal or what?" I asked him so that I can give him a more suitable suit.



"It's the birthday of one of our biggest clients." He said.



I look at him intently, then I went ahead and look for a suit that is perfect for the event that he will be attending.



'You have a great physique. You will look good in any suit you wear. But I think this is good for the event that you said." I told him and showed him the suit.



It was a beige 3-piece suit with a dark brown necktie.



'It's formal but still stylish and will make you look younger," I said.



"Okay. I think this is okay. I will try this." He said, then he went straight to try the suit.



When he went out, I suddenly smile because he looks good in the suit that I chose. I feel so proud of myself. I feel like I'm a natural stylist.



"You like it?" I asked him, a bit excited.



"Not bad. I think you will do good in this industry. What do you do if you don't mind me asking?" He said.



'I-I was currently working as an assistant stylist of Vince," I answered him a hit shy.



"Vince, the actor?" He asks to confirm.



I nodded, a bit shy.



"I guess he got a great stylist. Can I hire you also?" He offered.



My eyes widen at his offer. I can't believe it. I mean, I don't know much about this field. I am still learning. I just suggested a suit.



'Sorry, but I am kind of exclusive to him," I said.



He frowned. 'You two are dating?"



"No! What I mean is I only do the styling job to be able to work in the media industry. And I'm just doing this part-time. I will be working full time with my dad's family business." I told him.



I am flattered because he appreciates my talent, but I still need to remind myself that my career path is not in this field.



'You mean your magazine company?" He asked.



I was shocked because he knew so much about my family business.



"Well, don't be surprised. Your parents are known in the business industry. Alonzo is the owner of the biggest magazine here in the Philippines and some abroad, and also your mom is known in the fashion industry." He explained.



Oh yeah, I forgot!



I just smiled at him. "Yes. I'll be working there."



'But you are also in the fashion industry. Your mom owned boutiques here in the Philippines and Europe. And I think you will be a great stylist. This suit will prove that." He said.



I suddenly felt blushed by his compliment though he is exaggerating it.



"I'll think about that. I need to go. I'm glad that I was able to help you." I said to him.



He just nodded at me and then went to change his clothes.

I'm going to KTV now. It is said that the group agreed to go to the KTV. And I guess Anne and Iya are the initiators of this KTV thing since the boys can always play their music in the house.



I just thought of the guy earlier. He's handsome, in fairness. I was just wondering if I could accept his offer? Maybe I will finally have a love life?!



I immediately tapped my head on the thoughts. Is this how desperate I am to forget Andrew? To use that guy to prevent me from falling for Andrew?



Well, he is not a bad choice. He is as handsome as Andrew. I don't understand myself. I find him attractive, but that's it. I am comfortable with him when we talked, but I don't know why I am still rooting for Andrew.



I just made myself sadder by that thought. I need to get rid of this feeling.



After an hour, I finally arrived at the KTV.



"Sis!" Iya and Anne called me.



I smiled and went straight to them.



'Hey, sis, good news! Tonight you will finally meet Anne's handsome boss." Iya said while giggling.



'He will come tonight?" I asked.



'Yes. He will go with his sister Thea." Anne said excitedly.



'You don't look excited, Anne?!" I tease her.



And I saw her blushed. I just shook my head.



Then we all looked at the door when it suddenly opened.



There we saw Thea together with a guy. He looks so familiar.



Then my eyes widen when I remember who he is.



He smiled at me. It seems like she also recognized me.



"Hi there, Ms. Stylist!" He said.



I blushed. "H-hi!"



Oh my, he is Lieo?!
