Chapter 17 Found Seventeen

"Lieo!" I excitedly call him.

I can't help smiling after the confession that Andrew made earlier. I am feeling so happy.

When I saw Lieo's text, I can't help but call him to share the good news!

‘Yes? We just parted, and it seems like you miss me already?!'

I rolled my eyes. Omg! Spell thick face L-I-E-O.

'Whatever, Lieo! It's not that. Lieo he went here, and he told me that he like me!!!" I can't help but scream a little because I feel so giddy.

‘Who is he?'

'Who do you think it is?!" He's asking a very obvious question.

'Andrew?'

I chuckled. I almost imagine what he looked like when he realized the person I was referring to.

'Yes! OMG! Until now, I still can't believe it." I said the excitement in my voice is still there.

'Can you enlighten me? What really happen?'

I calmed myself first, and then I told him everything that happens earlier after he sent me home. The sudden appearance of Andrew and his confession about his feelings for me.

'You can now rest assured because you don't have a love rival anymore." I happily told him.

‘Are you really happy?'

'Super!" I said, still can't remove the big smile on my face.

I always longed for this moment to happen. I didn't expect that I will be this happy.

'I'm happy for you.'

"Thanks, Lieo. You're my new guy best friend. Thanks for listening. Bye."

I still can't believe that what happens right now is real and not a dream.

Andrew invited me to go out, but I need to decline because I will be busy preparing the things that Vince will need for his taping tomorrow. But that didn't stop Andrew from courting me.

We were having breakfast with my family when Andrew arrived. He had a bouquet of roses with him. I thought that those roses are for me, but I was shocked when he went to my mom, he kisses my mom on her cheek, and he gave the bouquet to her.

'Auntie, this flower is for you," Andrew said, smiling at my mom.

All our jaw dropped from what Andrew did.

My dad cleared his throat. 'Excuse me, Andrew, but you can't steal my wife. My wife is very much in love with me."

We all chuckled at dad's warning to Andrew.

"No, uncle, don't worry, I won't steal auntie from you. I am here to ask for your permission. Uncle, auntie, I want to court your daughter Allison. I wanted to ask you first, but something happened that's why I told Allison about my intention of courting her first." He said seriously.

I can't help but smile at what he said. I am touched, and my heart flutters from what he did. I wanted to cry, but I controlled myself because I don't want to give my cousin a reason to tease me.

I look at my parent's reaction. Honestly, I am so nervous. I can't help but think that they might not like Andrew for me because they prefer Vince because of our business.

I saw my mom look at Andrew and me; then she smiled at the both of us.

'You are a good guy Andrew. I know that you will not go here and ask for our permission if you are not serious with my daughter. But I will leave the decision to my daughter. As long as she is happy, we will give our full support." My mom said sincerely.

My dad again cleared his throat. 'Just make sure that you will not make my daughter cry." My dad said in a serious and authoritative voice

Andrew smiled as if a huge thorn had pulled out from him. 'Don't worry, uncle and auntie. I promise that I will love her forever, and I will do everything just to protect her and not to make her hurt or cry."

'Wow! You are that confident that my cousin will accept you, Andrew!" My cousin butt in.

My cousin is always ready to ruin the mood.

The call time was early, so Andrew picked me up early. We plan to get Vince's clothes for the shoot first before we pick up Anne.

The whole gang knew about what Andrew did that morning in our house; that is why we were constantly receiving teases from them.

We have reached the set. I left Anne and Andrew in the tent first and started with my work.

And as usual, Julia and Daniel keep on pushing me to Vince. No matter what I say that Vince and I are just friends, they still do not want to believe me.

They were happy to tease me because Vince never reacts either. He just let those two continually tease us.

Julia noticed Anne and Andrew. 'Hey, are they a couple? In fairness, they look good together."

'You really think Julia that they look good together?" Vince asked her while giving me a teasing look.

I just rolled my eyes at him. Well, I'm sorry to disappoint you, Vince. I will not be affected by all his teasing. Aside from love is not jealous, I also trust Andrews's word.

It only took a moment for the taping to begin. Just like me, I could see in Anne's eyes the radiance as she saw the actual shooting. Andrew, on the other hand, seems to be bored.

I approached him. "Drew, are you okay?"

He smiled at me and nodded. "Don't mind me. I'm okay."

I was about to leave when he took my hand. "Can you stay here with me, please? They are still shooting." He said softly.

Because of his sweetness, I couldn't help but feel my heart fluttering from his sweet moves.

"And cut! Good take!" The director said.

Scene 1 is done; the actors are now on break because the staff will prepare for the next scene. While I am taking care of Vince's needs.

After Vince changes his clothes for the next scene, the makeup artist took care of him.

I was fixing Vince's things when someone suddenly approached me.

"Hey!" He said.

I look at that person. I had a big smile when I saw who that person is.

"Lieo! I'm glad you came!" I told him with a full smile on my face.

'Our deal, don't you dare forget?!" He said to me.

I smiled at him and nodded. 'Okay, don't worry."

Last night when I talked to him, I convinced him to join us here for Anne's sake. So that Lieo and Anne will have their moment alone together. And of course me and Andrew too. I'm glad that he agrees.
