It’s been years since I’ve been genuinely happy. I have Giovanni to thank for taking her in and protecting her when I couldn’t. I was a fool to let her go. No, scratch that. She clenched the paper bag and pressed it to my chest. “Aren’t you going to eat?”

“Yes, but I’m not talking about food. I need you. Right here. Right now.”


Selina could barely keep up in her heels, so I lifted her up into my arms. She let out a tiny gasp. I smiled to myself. God, I love hearing those little sounds. Selina pinned me with an annoyed glare.

“Please stay, I’ll feel much better having you here.” I said, a playful smirk tugging at the corners of my mouth.

She sighed. “Fine, but you better eat your lunch.”

I grabbed the bag and pulled out the sandwich, unwrapping it from the plastic wrap. I took a huge bite and smirked. “Happy?”

“Very.” Selina said, her lips curving into a small smile.

“Good, because you’re stuck with me for an eternity.”

We both knew I would never let her go again. I wasn’t going to ever walk away from Selina. The night seemed to drag on, but I couldn’t wait to get her alone again so I could fuck her again. Over and over. To make up for lost time.
