CHAPTER 11

After the race Haven disappeared again and she decided to move around looking for her. She was searching for her when another heartbreaking scene appeared right in front of her. She saw Haven kissing this other girl.
She wanted to faint but she wasn’t going to do that. She turned around and began to run towards her car. Why was she so insistent on someone who didn’t have yes for her?
She knew Haven was a playgirl but her heart still raced for her. She didn’t run far before she found herself caught by someone who wasn’t Haven. Was she being kidnapped or something?
The problem was that the person who had her was female. She couldn’t possibly be one of Haven’s girls who wanted to lash out at her? She fought very hard but it was pointless.
She was taken into a black car with tinted windows. She tried to look for her bag but it was missing. How was she supposed to look for help when it was this way? So she told herself to calm down first and deal with the situation as it arises.
She didn’t get to check how long it was but the car finally stopped somewhere. The woman, who took her, took her out of the car and she found herself standing in front of a mansion that could only exist in people’s imagination.
“It’s beautiful,” she realized that she said it out loud and held her mouth.
“Follow me,” the woman said and she did quietly while admiring what she was seeing.
It was a good thing she had been taken. She got to see such a wonderful thing. So who was the owner of the house?
When she got inside, her gaze went to the walls. There were a lot of paintings. Some were in her house too but not this many. The paintings n the walls only could cost a fortune.
She was taken down the corridor and straight to a door that seemed to be the only one in the corridor. Was this a place for rituals or something? How the corridor could consist of just one door?
The woman knocked and opened the door.
“Get in,” she said.
She hesitated for a while before she found herself being drawn inside. The door closed by itself and she was just scared and amazed by it. She looked around and realized it was one very huge room, which also looked like a bedroom since she noticed a very huge bed probably more than a king size which meant it was customized.
The bed had this black linen which looked dazzling from afar. She walked towards the bed and screamed. The linen had enormous viper embroidery on it. How could anyone sleep with that snake on top?
The owner was very weird. She looked around and noticed there wasn’t a lot in the room. Where was everything hiding? She didn’t get to see a lot because the door got opened and this time it wasn’t the door, she came in through but a door she didn’t even notice was there.
She saw a very familiar face. It was Haven dressed in a robe, wearing slippers. When did she arrive?
“Why are you here?” Amber asked.
“I live here,” she replied as she walked towards her.
What was going on?
“You have questions little girl and I have no answers for you. I noticed you didn’t heed my advice but continue to look for trouble every time, so I will give you three opportunities to date me.”
“You can do that?”
“Yes, I can. I will take you to three different places and you will see what I really am. And if you still interested then I will go out with you. Are you sure you can do that?”
“Yes, I can do that.”
“Good, it’s late and you should go back home now. Your parents will be worried.”
“Can’t I sleep here?”
“No, she will drive you back home.”
“Where is my car?”
“Don’t worry about it. It will be there.”
“Who are you really?”
“You know,” she said and Amber found herself being escorted outside.
She still had no luck when she returned because she didn’t see a thing.

“Are you sure it’s a good move V?”
“Yes, it is.”
“But today is your sister’s engagement party and going with Amber as your date might make things worse.”
“Which is why she is going? Everyone likes the St Claire’s, you can’t be their enemy. And maybe Amber might stop pursuing me.”
“But you like her.”
“I do a lot but I don’t want her to know this other side of mine Gina. She was pretty shocked when she saw my black comforter. What if she found out who I really am? She will totally leave.”
“And you are still going along with this?”
“Yes. Is the car ready?”
“It is as per your instruction.”
“Good, I will see you at the party,” Haven said and left her master bedroom.
