Chapter 10

Damien's POV
"Do you wanna play a game?"I raise my head to see Francesca looking at me. Her blue eyes are trying to search mine and I notice how her eyelashes flicker when she blinks. I thought she was talking to the others but no... She's staring at me.
"Me?" I ask in surprise. Is she really talking to me
She's been full of surprises lately, she definitely casted a spell on my friends cause they are so smitten by her and I don't understand why. I don't know what Sara was doing at the club, she seems to be getting irritating by the minute.
"Yes" she simply answers. Chris turns to us and grins at Francesca
"He has never played a game before, he doesn't know how" he says with a wink
I watch as Francesca's eyes grow so wide they almost bulge out of their socket.
"Really?" She looks suggestively at me
I decide to ignore the question and continue typing. From the corner of my eyes I watch as her shoulder slumps and she just sighs. See stands and go sit with Chris, John and Fred. They happily ask her to join them and she does. Sam and the girl Francesca brought with her... Something Lia also join them smiling. I look at Sam and see him grinning, I know that face. It's "his I like her" face. Hmm waste of time. Feelings are time wasting, I can't imagine myself being smitten by a girl. I'm practical, I live in the real world.
I drop my laptop and go over to them, they are currently playing a game named T or D.
"Hey man, you wanna play" asks John smirking
Sam chuckles " he can't, he's a chicken" they all laugh at that.
I frown " I wanna play, that's why I'm here, obviously" they all gasp but Francesca doesn't make a sound. I take a sit opposite her and listen as Fred explains the rules of the game to me.
After a few minutes, I understand the game and we start playing. I've never really played games before or even if I did as a kid I don't remember.
Fred dares Sam to kiss Liza and he does, almost too hastily if you ask me. He's a fool, he never acts this way. The guys play until it's Francesca's turn. After a turn of bottles it turns to her and Sam.
"T or D Francesca?" Sam asks smiling. "T" she answers. She takes sip of her white wine and lock her fingers together.
"Have you ever had a boyfriend?, If yes who? And if no why". I watch as she blushes uncomfortably and bites her bottom lip. Her friend starts grinning and that's when I know that this is going to be an interesting game.
"Hmm, no. I've never had a boyfriend before because I never really had time for that. I was busy with my studies" she simply answers with a neutral expression. The guys smile apologetically at her and her friend gives her a thumbs up.
Is she kidding me? Isn't she dating that Sam guy. Hmm, pretenders, trying to feign Innocence. Sam rolls the bottle again and it points at me.
Fred grins devilishly and rubs his hand in a suggestive manner, I know he's not going to say anything reasonable. He's always the naughty one. Take it from me, Fred is immature for a man who owns two companies. "T or D" he asks. "D" I answer.
Sam quickly whispers something in his ear and I watch as both of them smile in contentment. Francesca and her friend are busy talking about something so intently I don't think they know what's going on.
Fred turns and whispers to Chris who then grins at him. Chris raises his brows and clears his throat. I know that whatever he's about to say will not be sensible in any form. I don't even know how they ended up with friends like them.
"So Mr Lorenzo, the rule of this game is that if you are given a dare, must do it or else you do whatever we say for a week" Nah that's not happening. With friends like mine I can't risk it.
I just nod at him. Francesca seems to have gotten interested in this little show. I just roll my eyes, can't wait to get this over and done with.
"Are you ready?" Fred asks grinning from ear to ear.
I frown at him " get this over and done with Fred"
Fred smiles and chuckles devilishly, he exchanges a knowing look with the guys and they nod at him. Sam glances at Francesca and grins. Okay this guys are up to something. What is it? I guess I'm about to find out.
"Okay, I dare you to kiss Francesca"
