Chapter 32 Outgo

I looked around the house
"This could be what I would be visiting regularly, if not that life is always different from our thoughts" I said to myself smiling
"Please who are you?" The gateman asked and I turned to face him
"You don t know me but you are still the same person who opened the gate for me" I said instead
"I didn t check well" he replied
"Try to do so, next time" I responded
I walked to the gate and peeped but COP Kelly was gone
I smiled
"I thought someone just drove in?" A female voice asked
I turned
It was Jenny
She was just coming out from the house
She gasped when she saw me
"Oh my God, bad news";" she said and rushed back inside
I smiled and ran after her
"Hey, stop there!" I shouted
"What the hell are you doing here?" She asked as she turned to face me
She was already on the stairs
"We need to talk" I replied looking at her
"If it is the same case, count me out" she said
"Why don t you have a mind of thought? He killed your mother for crying out loud" she said
I don t really feel bad on that
I only felt bad because she was a human being
"He didn t kill her on purpose, he is possessed and he needs to be freed" I tried convincing her
"Too bad that this is coming from your mouth" she said
"Remember, it was David that you went after, and dumped me"
"I never knew he was a murderer, he also killed Zita, my courageous classmate"
"Too bad" she added
"Everyone knows that but you won t blame him, he regretted it" I said even when am not sure
"I can t take him as a human again" she said instead
"Knowing me very well, you should have asked me what my plans are" I said because I knew that she would like to know
"So what are your plans?" She asked
"At least come down from there" I said
"I don t want anyone to hear it" I added seeing that she wanted to decline it
She looked at me for some time before walking down
She sat on a single seat
"Am waiting" she replied
"I want us to free him first, then we will punish him" I said thinking that it was my intention
"Do you even believe them, it looks supernatural, how then are we going to free him?" She asked
"I didn t believe it at first but when I saw the signs" I replied
"What sign?" She asked
"I have a mark on my shoulder and also you were able to read that book" I replied
I just needed to place it on a sweet surface
"That s none of my business" she said standing up
"Am heading inside, you can go, when you are ready" she added walking straight to the stairs
"Does it mean that you will help us?" I asked standing up also
"I can t be deceived by your words again" she replied walking straight to where she was going
"Am for real now!" I shouted back
She stopped and looked down at where I was standing
"Tell those you can deceive" she said and hissed before walking to a passage at the top
I knew it would be too difficult
I waited for some minutes before walking out of the house
I drove straight to Dorothy s house for updates
I alighted at her house and luckily, she was around
"Were you able to convince Jenny?" That was the first thing she asked me
"She refused, how about where Victor is?" I asked
"Switzerland" she replied
I remembered that one of his father s company was at Switzerland
"So when are you leaving?" I asked
"I want to leave this evening but I don t know about how their transportation is" she replied
Come to think of it, her Uncle wasn t rich but she has been trying her best with the little she has
I think I needed to help
"Can I have your passport?" I asked
"Why?" She returned the question
"Let me have it first" I replied
She nodded and walked inside
She came out almost immediately
"Don t worry, I will come back now, give like one hour" I said taking the passport from her and rushed out of the house
I got inside my car and drove straight to the airport
I made the urgent booking for flight that evening
Fortunately, I was able to get it
I smiled and rushed back to her house
I gave her everything
She couldn t stop thanking me
It was already time to visit David s mother

Things that was about to happen would be a great thing which will surely end us
According to the queen mother
There was no plans for us but we would surely see a way
I was seriously missing Jason
I disappeared from my residence and reappeared where I was led, by Jason
It was in a hospital
A woman was lying flat on the bed while Jason sat beside her
The woman seems to be fine but I don t really know why she was still at the hospital
I stood at an edge of the room
I couldn t take off my eyes from Jason
They talked and smiled
They looked like mother and son but I already knew that Jason has a mother who doesn t treat him well
Sometimes, life isn t as we planned it
His mother was someone who loves her business than anything
Even human being
Jason doesn t deserve such person as a mother
I was busy smiling at that together chat when the queen mother appeared to me
"You are just wasting opportunities" she said
"Which opportunity?" I asked
"Dorothy is already on her way to end us and you are here, busy admiring a guy" she said
I couldn t tell if it was anger or not
"I thought you wanted us to kill Jason, this is another opportunity" I responded
"You can t kill him now, we need to stop Dorothy first, Jason might be later" she said
"Because you can t kill him now" she added
"Why? I don t want to lose Jason"
"Then do as I instructed"
"She is already at the airport, it is your destiny to stop this" she said
"Better go now" she added and I disappeared

I took just a simple bag because I wasn t planning to sleep there more than a day
I had only one cloth extra, in my bag
Thanks to Jason who took the flight expenses
I was wondering how I would curb
I walked straight to my Uncle s room first
"Uncle am leaving but am worried about your drink" I said remembering that he needed it every day
"Don t worry, it stays up to five days before I would die, that is if I didn t take it" he replied

"Are you really leaving today?" He asked
"We don t have much day, so I have to fastened everything" I replied
"Okay, just be careful and also, don t forget to take your leaf, I sensed problem" he said
"Am always with it" I replied
"Okay, journey mercy" he said
I got to the airport and alighted
I paid the cab driver and took my bag straight inside
As I got closer to the reception, the demon appeared
That same demon I was working with
"This is not the right time to appear" I said looking at her
"Am just here to warn and advise you" she responded
I looked around and people who were passing, was just wondering what I was doing
"We don t have things in common any longer, you are always against my plan" I said
"Just go back" she warned
"You can t stop me" I responded
"I will" she said
"Enough of this embarrassment" I said as I took out the leaf
She disappeared immediately
I sighed and continued walking to the receptionists

It was really fun being with David s mother
We laughed and laughed
The chat was the only chat that has made my day ever since I was born
Soon, she stopped talking
After saying what I had to say which was also part of the conversation but she didn t reply
I looked at her and discovered that she was already sleeping
I smiled and covered her
I checked my phone and gasped when I saw the time
It was left with 40mins before Dorothy would fly out
"Oh no" I said as I stood up
I rushed out, straight to my car and drove off
I had to head to the airport even if she wasn t there
At least, there are some certain information she needs to know
I alighted at the airport and parked
I checked the time and it was left with 20mins
I got down and rushed into the passengers waiting room
Lots of people were filled there
I started walking around
Dorothy was nowhere to be found but I wouldn t think of going to her house because we might not meet
"Please have the 6pm flight left?" I asked one of the security man
"No, but they have gone into the plane, there is no time" he replied
"Okay, thank you" I said as I rushed to the plane parking spot
I wondered how I would go into the plane without my passport
I was clueless if they would allow me or not
I was still contemplating when I heard someone calling my name
I turned towards that direction and it was Dorothy
It was a relief tho
I ran to meet her
"Sorry I couldn t wait at the house to say goodbye" she tried apologizing
"I didn t go to your house" I replied
"I would have gone into the plane but I had a running stomach" she said
"Oh, sorry"
"I think you are forgetting some certain information" I said
"What?"
"What if the demon attacks the plane?" I asked
"Don t worry, she was here but I chased her away, I will handle the rest" she replied smiling
"That s not even a problem" she added
"Secondly, did you even know his main address?" I asked
"Have you forgotten that you had mentioned the company s name before during our last conversation?" She returned the question
"Schneider AG graphic company in Bern is very far from Zurich where you will get down"

As I got inside the plane, my mind was on how to make sure that the demon doesn t show up
Knowing that it would be a very big problem because it would definitely result to plane crash
I took out the leaf

I stood up from the seat
The plane security came to meet me
"You need to sit down until the plane balance" he said
"I know but the plane isn t yet moving and it is very urgent" I replied

"I need to meet the pilots" I replied
"You don t have to disturb them, they need to concentrate" the security man said
"I know but if I don t meet them, we might not survive" I said
"How do you mean?" He asked
"I need to meet them now" I said instead
"Okay but make it fast" he said making me to smile
"Sure" I replied and walked to the front
I got to the door leading to where they were, the security man was just looking at me
I turned to look at the other man who permitted me
He nodded and the other security man opened the door
I walked in and the pilots turned to look at me
"Good evening" I greeted waving at them with a smile
"Young lady, what are you doing here?" One of them asked
"I have a gift" I said stretching out one of the leaf
"What s this?" The same man asked
"It is called lucky leaf" I replied smiling
I had to use that word
"For a successful journey" I added
The man nodded collecting it
"Why do you have only one?" The other man asked
I couldn t help it but to smile
"We all are in the same plane, so it can lead us" I replied
"Thanks" the other man said
When I was supposed to be the one thanking him
"You can now go, our time is up" the other one said
I nodded and walked out of their
At least, this was sure
Since am in the middle of the plane
I have one and the front, has one
That could possibly chase the demon far away
The only problem then was phone
It was really important in life
Not that I couldn t buy it but it never crossed my mind

My life has totally changed
Clubbing and drinking became my favorite
Visiting my parents was what I had cancelled because I wouldn t try going back to meet Dorothy even after I was sure that David must be dead by then
Trusting what Jason was capable of doing
Thanks to Victor who rented a house for me
Even though I wasn t a good friend, he still takes care of me
He normally advise me on changing my lifestyle
That my parents might be waiting for me

And due to that, I left to very far area because his advice do itches my ears
The following day which was on Sunday
After two weeks, I decided to visit Victor as a surprise
I knocked at the door and waited for him

He shifted while I walked in
"Where the hell have you been, I was scared?" He asked

It was that same girl I saw, when I first arrived at Victor s office

"Please honey, what should I prepare this morning?" She asked referring to Victor
"I want to help you today" Victor said instead
"I have always told you that, so that means you are ready to learn it today?"
"Yes of course"
"Am heading to the kitchen right away" she said walking in
"Am right behind you"
"I will be back badass" Victor said following her
It was really lit
I wished I had someone like that
Or maybe I should try out the girl
She was really equipped with women characteristics

That Sunday morning, I drove as usual
Straight to the hospital
I wanted to meet the doctor first but when I got there, his office was locked
I waved it off and walked towards Mrs Paul s ward when
I met with a new face
I mean a doctor as he was walking towards the office
"Good morning" I greeted, in a way of calling his attention
"Good morning" he responded
"Am looking for the doctor" I said
"Oh, he has been transferred"
"But he was here yesterday"
"They transferred him today" he replied
It was so soon
I would love to meet him but I guess, it won t be possible anymore
"Okay, thanks" I said as I walked passed him
"You just look exactly like your father" the doctor said making me to turn
"You know my father?" I asked
Even the former doctor doesn t know me
"Of course, you guys really look alike" he replied
"But I don t see the resemblance in us" I said
"What you think? Am actually his favorite doctor, he would be very happy seeing you grow to this extent" he said
"Anyways, see you around" he smiled and walked away
The doctor was actually sounding strange
I wondered how he got to know my father to that level
That means he must have known COP Kelly
I would have to ask him later
I concluded and continued walking to David s mother

COP Kelly called me earlier, saying that he would love to meet me
He didn t tell me the reason but he just wanted to
I met him at a restaurant where he said he was
He ordered for both of us

"We can never be together again" I replied
"But I saw him driving into your compound yesterday" he said

He must have seen something
That s why he asked that

"We are working together, tell me, if he tried deceiving you" he said bringing his face closer
"I think that s his plan" I replied
"What did he tell you?" He asked
I started from the beginning to explain to him every single thing that happened
"What did you later decided to do?" He asked after the elaboration
"I declined it" I replied

We arrived at Switzerland successfully that afternoon
I got down with my handbag and was walking down to where taxi drivers are
"Hey, excuse me!" Someone shouted from behind
I didn t turn to look at the person because I thought the person wasn t calling me
"Am talking to you, the lady with pink top and a handbag" on hearing that one, I stopped and looked
It was one of the pilots
I wondered why he was after me
"Thank you for the gift, it really saved us" he said while I smiled
"Don t be surprised too much if I tell you that immediately we got here, we discovered lots of problems in the plane and that would just lead us to plane crash" he added
I couldn t control the surprise
I had to gasped
I knew that it must the handwork of that demon
"Thank God" that s all I could say
"You can still keep it" I added smiling
"Where are you headed to?" He asked
"Bern" I replied
"Oh, too far, you will have to reach by evening" he said
I guessed, I would still have three days
"No problem, thanks" I responded
"Let me pay for it, my daughter" he said
It will be nice if he does so because I didn t have much money with me

He walked me down for the taxi
I explained to him where exactly I was going to

The name of the company was boldly written on a big signboard beside it

I met a man who I was sure must be gateman on a security dress

"Please am looking for Victor that is in this company"
"Sorry, but you have to come back tomorrow because we don t work on Sunday and Victor doesn t live here" he replied
I forgot it was on Sunday
Then I had to wait till tomorrow
"Please is there any hotel around here?" I asked
He gave me the direction
It wasn t far from the company
I had to book a room for the night

It was the best information ever
I wondered how Jenny would be so clueless with important things
The only way to get David was that
I remembered that I had arranged visiting that doctor that I paid off to kill David and his mother some years ago
After meeting up with Jenny, I left for the hospital
It wasn t that far from our town
I wondered how Paul brought his wife to that hospital when I was sure that they left far away from the town
After some hours, I got to the hospital
The doctor had a lot to tell me
"Good evening sir" the nurse greeted me
"Am here to see the doctor"
"Okay sir, but he is currently in the lab, you have to wait sir" the nurse replied
I nodded and went to sit down
I began to memorize how the conversation would go
He was keeping long
I waited for one hour before I was informed that he was in his office
"So annoying" I walked straight to his office
I knocked and he ordered me to come in
He gestured me to sit
"Good evening officer, how can we help you?" The doctor asked
He wasn t the one I came for
"Sorry but I came to see the other doctor" I requested
"Oh, am sorry but he got transferred" he replied while my face changed
Why would it be by this time
"Please, to which hospital?" I asked
"Actually, I don t know, we aren t in good terms, so he didn t tell me" he replied
"I thought you guys do have booklet where such thing is being recorded?" I asked
I needed to find him at any cost
"Am not aware of that sir" he replied
I wouldn t want to push him because it would look suspicious and I haven t met with that doctor before
"Okay, thank you" I said as I stood up
"Hope there is no problem?" He asked
"What if there is a problem?" I returned the question
"Sorry but I might help" he replied while I smiled
"How?" I asked
"Any means, like I said, we aren t in good terms" he replied
"Okay then, take my card, call me by tomorrow, am COP Kelly" I said giving him my card
"I already knew that you are an Officer from your look am doctor Sammy" he responded collecting the card
"I will love to meet you by tomorrow, just call me" I said before leaving the hospital…
No matter what, I need to see that doctor first..
As Jenny is planning theirs, I had to plan mine

The following morning, I wasn t expecting to hear from Dorothy, knowing fully well that she had no phone
But I hoped she met with Victor
I woke up that morning and went into my bathroom for normal stuff
I washed my face and brushed my teeth
I went downstairs for my breakfast
My Dad as usual was already there
I greeted him and we ate silently
"Today is Monday, aren t you going to school?" My Dad asked when we were almost done with the food
"Everyone is scared of the monster, I also have to be" I replied eating very well
"The exam is around the corner" he said
I guessed, he was very worried
"Going to school doesn t mean it, because no teacher to teach, we are in a revision period and I do study at home" I replied
"I am only worried, you need to pass this final year" he said
As for him, he was caring
Unlike my Mom
"I won t fell you" I replied
"Okay, your mother s funeral will be this weekend" he said
"I think am okay now" I responded and stood up
I hated hearing about that
