chapter 53- Wedding arrangements

Kiera POV

I really didn't expect all this..Wilf kept smiling at me
"so had all this planned?" I asked as I sniffed back my tears
"why not?" he replied and me by my waist

I sighed and looked deep into his eyes..."I love you Wilf!" I said as he kissed my forehead
"and I love you more Kiera!" he replied

The music continued playing..people eating and drinking happily.
Ted then walked to me by the wine stand.."what's up?" he smiled at me
"Ted...." that was what I could say now .
"Congratulations!!" he said and gave me a warm hug
"Thank you..!!!" I replied as I rubbed his back gently
"So when are we expecting yours?" I grinned at him

"really?..that's not your business!!" he laughed
"you for real?" I pouted
"I wonder how your mom and dad are doing now?" he said
"its true....I really wonder!" I laughed
"but they should have been here!" he replied and looked round.

"see..everyone is happy..eating and drinking" he said as we looked round.
Wilf then saw me and walked to me...
"My dad is here!' he saod as he pulled me with him
"your dad??????" I exclaimed
"c'mon let's go see what the old man has to say!" he laughed as he crossed his arm around me

There the dad was with his mom...
"Hello Sir.." I greeted with my head low
"So you're the one he finally married?" he said as I slowly looked up at him and gulped down
"what's that supposed to mean?"
"I never imagined my son will get married!" he chuckled
"Your son??" Wilf asked lowly
"don't bring that up..." his dad said to him.

Eyes were on us...

"Well....a big congratulations to you both!!" his dad suddenly exclaimed joyously

My jaw dropped in surprise, same as Wilf
"Honey...?" the Wilf blinked at him
"I'm really sorry for not being the dad you wanted and not being the husband you wanted too" he said to them both

"Thanks to you..I had to go back and rethink.. thanks kiera" he said to me
"I'm glad I could help" I replied as he hugged me
"Welcome to our family!!" he shouted as the music played on



Drew POV

Kiera dad and mom luckily didn't suspect me. they all assumed it was as a result of stress..
"Ah...!" the dad exclaimed
"we haven't spoken to kiera... who knows how my daughter is doing there?" he said as he turned to me

I was on the table with his wife reading magazines.
"that's true...how could we miss our flight!" she shook her head
"its okay..we can book another" I shrugged
"That's true tho!" the dad nods his head
I heard my phone ring...they turned back to me
"huh...?" I raised my brow and saw the caller

"A video call...why does Rae wants a video call?" I chuckled
"that's better..we'll see them" her mom replied and walked to me
Okay then..I swiped the phone answer button.
"Rae??" I asked in shock

She looked pretty.."did you go partying or what?" I laughed
"oh my goodness Drew...its a huge one, everyone is dancing and eating!! she screamed happily
"why..?" Kiera dad chuckled
"Is it the president son birthday or what?" I asked as she sent her phone round for me to see myself
It really was huge

"No!!..Wilf proposed to Kiera!!!" she screamed

"Kiera??..my daughter??" Kiera dad exclaimed
"Kiera??..for real??" I asked
"oh my God!" her mom gasped
"you should have seen...it was a huge surprise!... she said yes Drew she said yes!!" she screamed in a teary tone
"okay calm down.."
"He already planned it all..its their engagement party!" she added
"How could I miss my own daughter engagement party!!" her mom shouted beside me
"I need to see Kiera"
"She's with Wilf parent" she replied and wiped her eyes

"Oh my goodness!!" her mom said in a teary thim

"honey we missed our own daughter engagement!" she exclaimed and went to him
"we need to use the jet to fly back to Florida.. tonight" he said as she nodded and picked up her phone maybe dialing Kiera's number

After some time she answered.
"Mom?" her voice came up
"Oh my dear...congratulations!!" she said
"thank you!" her voice was more cold
"dear I know you're mad at us..don't worry we're coming down to Florida... I'm so sorry" she replied
"its okay...I didn't expect the party so soon, I knew you'd have been here"
"yes dear!" her dad replied

I rolled my eyes and turned to Rae
"So where's Ted?" I asked her
"he's with them I guess" she replied
"wow..I'm so happy for her, send the pics to me!" I smiled
"that's for sure!" she replied
"Okay..I'll leave you" I said as she ended the call

Her mom also ended the call.."dear...let's get ready" she said to her husband
"its just engagement not the wedding!!" I laughed.

Wilf POV

I went to the other table and met some of my old school mates gathered
"The man!" Felix said and stretched his hand to shake me
We exchanged greetings with laughs
"very soon he'll be called Mr!" Zach laughed
"like yeah!" I smiled
"wow..I'm really happy you found the right woman for yourself" Kingsley said
"yeah...you finally know that..!" Felix laughed


The party went on and on...
It was fine for kiera and I to take pictures..
She was obviously shy..new faces were around.."c'mon bae!" I smiled and pulled her to me wrapping my hands around her waist
"upcoming couples!!" Rae screamed as I then surprisingly kissed Kiera

"take this shot!!!" Ted screamed

"Awww!!!" the crowd echoed loudly clapping their hands.

She pulled away with a smile and bit her lips.."Really!!" she laughed and hit me gently
"there's a cake there!" I wiggled my brows at her
"Cake??" she turned and saw it..

three steps of cake around the table ."Wilf its engagement not wedding!" she laughed
"yeah with difference!" I shrugged and pulled her closer

The camera man took different shots same as audience around.

And then the grand floor was set for the both of us to dance
"I'm not really good at dancing you'll endure my moves!" I laughed
"lies...Wilf is a very good dancer" Ted laughed

"off course I know that!" she gave a sweet laugh
"let's see!" I smiled and walked to her in the middle of the hall.. the dance floor

"Milady..." I gave a cute smile and stretched my hands to her as she gladly accepted it and pulled her slowly closer to me
Her hands were wrapped around my neck and mine around her waist.

"I spoke with my mom!" she whispered to me
"oh and what did they say?"
"They felt bad for missing it.."
"At least it wasn't the wedding" I replied and pecked her forehead


THE NEXT DAY

I was seated in the living room with all..Kiera was eating grapes.
Ted was eating waffles and Rae kept talking non stop on a call

"No I don't want that type of dress you sent... get something more prettier and hotter!' she yelled
"And so..if it is expensive I'll pay!!!" she yelled
"Is she looking for a wedding dress?" Ted laughed
"are you asking me..she has been yelling dress since!" I chuckled

"Arrgh! human beings!!" she sighed heavily and ended the call dialing another number
"Okay yes the color code for the bridesmaids dresses is what?" she turned to me

"Me??..ask kiera" I shrugged
"I don't know..maybe purple" she shrugged
"purple?" Ted tilted his head
"c'mon the wedding is when....?" she raised her brows at me
"in a week!"
"That's too early" kiera exclaimed the
"loving you wasn't?" I smirked at her
"Oh please don't start....!!" Ted groaned
"he had the fear of loving you actually, he had been crushing on you since you started working in the company!"

That was Ted biggest mistake.. telling her the truth
"Oh my God!!" Kiera laughed
"don't mind him..what's the color?" I asked her

"I'm okay with shiny purple and white rose..."
"Something more touchy!!" Rae placed her fingers on her jaw thinking
"the fashionista would be available to do their makeover, so it's okay!" Ted said
"that's true!" I replied
"Yeah...everyone would be in their best!" she squealed
"I wanted something black...but shiny actually" I said
"augh you guys don't know fashion..." Rae rolled her eyes
"Should there be a color code for the audience?"

"Maybe..anything they wear with a touch of shiny silver" Ted suggested
"Arrgh.... whatever they wear but must look classy!" I said
"okay..its his wedding.. we follow his instructions!" Rae exclaimed loudly and happily

"But that purple...is it Kpop fans that'll attend the wedding?" I laughed
"you should have said BTS fans...oh purple!" Ted laughed
"yeah..they're purple freak!' I added
"so I'm a freak huh?" Kiera shouted
"what bae..not you never!" I said with a slight laugh
"no you just said it Wilf!" she said and stood up childishly
"My fiance just called me freak!!!" she cried and walked round the room
"Oh no baby not you!"
