chapter 54- Mr and Mrs



Kiera POV
The engagement party was over, all of us were seated in a black limousine talking and laughing, I really do feel sleepy.
Wilf Mom decided to go home with her husband and we let them go

Wilf wanted her to come over to his house buy Nah... let then go back to their house since she has gotten what she wanted.
The car pulled to a halt before the house...finally I'm home
"Finally... we are home!" Rae sighed as she opened the door stepping out
"Uh huh.." Ted smiled
"Now I'll have your time!" she said as he wrapped his hands around her shoulder and walked into the house.
"instead of you to help ME with the loads in my hand you're adding yours!" she obviously pouted like a kid.
Ted didn't say a word he only chuckled...

I stepped out also with Wilf behind me. His hands encircled my waist.. I smiled and turned to him laughed pecked my forehead
"mm..they say a kiss on the forehead means a lot than a kiss on the lips!" I said
"oh really.. what if I decide to kiss your lips from now till the wedding?" he asked me
"wouldn't it count as something?" he added
"it sure will!" I laughed and walked into the house

Our loads were brought in.... I had tons of gift boxes packed behind me.
So its possible to live this way on earth...
I smiled as we both walked into that main living room where the gifts were piled up on the center table, below the TV stand and all.
"its not even Christmas and it feels like one!" ted smiled
"Just go get them all!" Wilf laughed and slightly hit his shoulders
"I told you earlier!" Rae laughed

That was how they kept going and coming bring loads in
"I wonder what will be inside" I said as I sat down
"What else might be inside?" Wilf said as he sat beside me
"maybe...things that you might eat when you get pregnant but you are and they don't know and also...things that they think you might need on your wedding!" he added
"did any of them know it was our engagement party?" I asked him
"yeah...about 70%" he smiled
"Wilf....you're good at surprises!" I smiled and leaned on his cheat
"Finally we're done!!" Rae sighed and fell to the chair with a heavy sigh
"you good baby?" Ted said as he went behind her moving his hands on her shoulders
"Ah..its headache!" she groaned
"oh...." he began moving his hands on her temples
"Did you hear from Drew?" Wilf asked
"yeah I did spoke to him in the party!" Rae replied
"he was really happy for you and he said he knew you'd marry her from the first day he saw you" she replied as I gave out a slight laugh
"What do you say...we go upstairs!" Wilf said to me
"me?" I asked as I raised mg head to look at him properly
"yeah bae" he replied
"okay...." I gave a side smile and stood up with him
"want to eat anything?" He asked
"I'm craving strawberries" I smiled
"loaded in the fridge just for you!" he exclaimed and went to the kitchen

Did they really get it..I searched and saw other berries but strawberry was missing
He surprisingly came out with a plate of strawberry.. looking cold
"when did you get that?" I smiled and collected it
"does that matter...I got it for you anyways!" he replied as we both went up the stairs
"I need a cold shower!" I sighed
"and I need mine to have ice cubes in!" he replied
"you do that too??..I'd never!"

A WEEK LATER
THE WEDDING


Kiera POV
I was seated in the dressing room still in my bathrobes.
Today is the deal day..today is the day I'll become Mrs Wilf.
I can't deny it..
I'm more nervous...

Rae then walked in. "Chief bridesmaid!!" I smiled at her
"oh yeah you can say that again!!" she laughed
"Your parents are around...they'd be glad to see you!" she squealed
I'm having my hair made more prettier.. I didn't need to add extensions to it

My natural hair is back length so I'm sure she'll just style it well..already told her I didn't want extensions on.
I smiled and crossed my leg happily..finally this day I always dreamed of came to pass
If I'm still dreaming my top prayer Lord is I don't wake up.

My hair was packed in a pony tail then a bun.
"I want to start with your face!" the makeup artist said
"sure..."

I then closed my eyes and let her do what she wants to do.
I felt something wet against my chin and then my forehead then all over my face.
Wet and cold ..
She wiped it all over my face gently .

I felt a hand tap me.."mm?"
"your legs...time for the pedicure and manicure!' she said
"oh yeah I forgot!" I giggled softly and let my legs down.

It was then sent into a cold liquid..."ooooooh!" I sighed in pleasure and scrutinized my toes.
A hand took mine in...I felt cotton wool soaked in something cold move on my fingers.

That's how I kept feeling and feeling till they were done.



Wilf POV
Ted couldn't stop talking and talking and at the same time laughing and laughing
"Ted you're growing to be a talkative!!" I laughed
"oh really??" he giggled
"Don't you know?" I rolled my eyes
"Like seriously I can't just help but imagine how they'd be!" he smiled
"who?" I raised my brows
"your kids off course.. and they're twins.. I'll go with one of then!" he smiled

I scoffed and laughed
"When I'm alive...you pray not!" I rolled my eyes
"Uh..huh, he'll be like uncle Ted let's go get ice cream!" he said in a baby tone
"And I'll be like sure your mom never spent a week without ice cream' he laughed
"Really???"

He paused to look at me
"Don't tell me you don't know of that.. kiera doesn't spend a week without ice cream. and a day without ice cream if Rae doesn't talk about it!" he laughed and shook his head at me
"you're getting married to her and you don't know that?"
"hey don't tease me now!"I rolled my eyed with a slight laugh
"There are better things than that to know about here!" I added
"oh you wish...." he laughed

and there was a moment of silence
"but like dude today is your wedding day!" he said and walked to me
"I know!"
"You're being a man yunno!" he laughed and stepped back
"really Ted?... for sometime I was thinking you were being serious and would give me little advice as my best man instead now you're saying something entirely different!" I replied
"do you need an advice?.. cos if I'm to it'd only be about your wedding night!" he replied
"Ah...just get lost!" I rolled my eyes
"but seriously do you need an advice?..you're expert in handling women you should know!" he replied
"what??...I'm not an expert please!" I laughed
"okay....you're getting married now, you should already know her likes and dislikes before now...in no way should you hurt her!...even if she yells at you... you know what to do?" he asked
"pull her to a hug?" I laughed
"exactly!" he laughed
"seriously?"...
"I'm being serious... and when she cries and doesn't accept to tell you why she is ....you'll just pull her to a hug" he said
"you don't really need my advice... I'm sure you'll be a good husband!" he said and patted my shoulders
"But thanks anyways... it was helpful!"
"I'm glad I could day something!" he laughed


Kiera POV

About minutes later they were all done with the makeup and all.
I tucked my leg into a glassy silver high heel
"ohhh I really love the shoe!" the girl screamed
"Stacy behave!" another laughed
"your husband really loves you that he has to go all the way to Paris to get you all you'll need!" she smiled at me

I haven't looked at the mirror since they started.. I then looked at it and almost didn't recognize myself.
"wow!" I mouthed
"Good...you like it?" she asked me
"I love it!" I smiled and then stood up

She really styled my hair nicely
All the fancy stuff really were in a nice position...
My lips were shinning pink!

My eyelashes were perfect.."I love it!" I said again
"ah..your mom is coming in already!" she said

"my Mom?"...
I looked to the door and she was indeed coming in
She had the happy look I've never seen on her f e before
"we'll excuse you both!" she said as they all left the room

"my dear daughter" mom said and pulled me into a hug
"today is my happiest day ever!" she added
"I can tell that, its written all over your face" I smiled at her
"its right for a mother to have a little time with her daughter on a day like this yunno" she said and sat beside me
"yeah..I don't know it all" I replied and sat down next to her
"This is the beginning of the journey of your life..you're a mother already and a wife soon.. I just wish you all of the best in your new home!" she said as she took my hands in
"Mom....." I smiled
"thank you"
"and thank God your father and I trained you so well that you know how to cook !"
"there's no husband that will marry a wife that cannot cook, the marriage won't last long,.... I know you can't be a stubborn wife but you know you have to respect your husband.."
"mom you know I can never do that"
"I know that,but anyways I know you are a good wife already" she laughed
"should I say I'll miss you?"
"no!, I'm not leaving!" I laughed

There was a moment of silence between us.
She released a sigh...
"I am so happy about your wedding, although you'd remain my little princess always. May you have a wonderful life with your life partner! May you have a little beautiful world of yours in this big world that is full of love, joy and trust!"
"Amen...thanks mom!"
"and uh..treat your in-laws the way you want us to be treated, happiness is the best in a marriage, and yeah.." she smiled at me
"what...?"
"Talk talk talk about sex" she replied
"Mom!!!!"
"yeah...." she laughed

"Anyways you look good to go down the aisle!"

With that we both stood up and she pulled me to a hug..

Wilf POV

I was all done, Ted and I made our way into the church.

I stepped in and could see the multitude in..they turned back immediately smiling.

I made my way to the altar with my entourage in tow behind me
"wow..!" I heard Ted whisper behind me
"must you talk!" I replied lowly and then caught sight of my receptionist Sasha smiling at me
I gave a side smile back at her and turned back to the altar.

Their the priest was also smiling...
What a day for me...

The choir sang beautiful hymns.. so lovely.
I made my way to the priest.."Mr Wilf!"

I bowed my head in greetings awaiting my bride.

Just then the door went wide open revealing Kiera in her wedding dress and a veil over her face, standing next to her was her dad holding her.

Behind her was Rae who looked far different..
"that's my bae!" ted exclaimed lowly behind me

And by their sides was Her mom and other bridesmaids...
Just the way we wanted the color code.
It looked perfect....

She was already standing before me and then the priest started his little sermon.

He talked and talked and talked
"May the Lord bless our souls!"
"Amen!" the church chorused
"Is there anyone here that doesn't want this two to be joined together please talk now or forever hold your peace! he said

No hands were raised up...not a single word was said.
"No one right?"
"That's very good!"

"in this case..." he took out the ring and brought it to me handling it to me
"repeat after me!"

"On this day!"

"on this day..."

"Kiera Scott, I take you as my wife" he said as I took kiera fingers into my hands

"Kiera Scott, I take you as my wife" I repeated

"To love you and cherish you, to keep you in all manners...I'll love you till I grow old and love you more when I'm even old"

and I repeated again...then put the ring into her finger

And it went on to Kiera's turn..she repeated same and put the ring also

"So on this blessed day..I pronounce you both as husband and wife!" he said and then the whole church stood up screaming and clapping

I walked to her and took her veil above her head..
"beauty!" I smiled at her

"you may kiss the Bride !"
