chapter 60 - proposal for Rae


They were all gathered at the table and ate happily, Rae kept talking non stop asking where exactly they would be going.

But ted kept replying they would be outside
"Outside outside stop saying outside!!" she screamed
he chuckled..."just have patience" he replied and took her hands into his palms
"easy to say..but I'm dying of suspense" she replied
"and yeah! one more thing" Wilf said
"We are spending a whole day outside the building" Wilf said
"how is that supposed to be possible" Kiera laughed
"yeah" Rae added
"we moved in and Now we will spend almost a whole day outside" She added
"you can't be in Paris without going out" Ted smirked
"Ted Lee speak for yourself" Rae laughed
"no I'm being serious, we can't spend a whole day inside" He added
"I kinda agree with you" Kiera nods her head
"You see..." Wilf shrugged
"So where exactly are we going?" Rae asked after taking a spoonful
"We have the list here an first on the list is the amusement park...." Wilf said and opened a notebook

"Really? sounds adventurous" kiera beamed happily
"ah no you're pregnant so you're excluded" Ted laughed

Wilf looked at him immediately.. "baby is it so?" Kiera yelled out
"hell no, Ted are you nuts?" Wilf asked him wiping him with his fork
"ah was just joking" He laughed
"so I'm in" she clapped
"always in baby" Wilf replied her
"and after the park?" Rae asked
"that would be told later...let's head to the park first" He said
"yeah so we'll round up and leave" kiera said and rushed her food
"Pregnant woman don't rush your food" Rae laughed
"I'm also curious" she laughed


As soon as they were done eating, kiera went to her room to dress up
Wilf already brought out what she will wear.

A jeans on a turtle neck sleeve and boots.
"you can add other accessories if you want" he said and wore his shoes on
"ahhh... sure" she smiled and went to where Wilf said he kept her accessories and brought them out

She pushed a button on the remote and then a drawer opened up, that was for the sunglasses.
"wow...I love this particular one" she smiled and took out a black shiny glass putting it on.

"how do I look?" she smiled turning to Wilf who gave her thumbs up
"perfect!" he winked

she giggled and took out a silver chain wearing it on

After few minutes of dressing up with Wilf they walked out in matching outfit.

"Couple things!" kiera laughed as she held his hand walking down the hallway


Rae on the other hand was MORE than confused, she doesn't know what to wear...
She kept picking and picking different clothes from her closet but none were her taste
"or should I just drop it?" she asked no one

"drop what?" she laughed
"I have to wear cloth...." she laughed and finally stopped before a peach flowered pattern gown

"maybe I should just wear the gown than wearing boots and sneakers" she sighed
"so I'll look girly today" she muttered

off course she will be seen girly, they all know Rae to be unisex... all her wears are unisex badass clothes

She was done putting on the dress and styled her hair wavy.. her back length..
she took some fancy hairpin Ted bought for her and used them on

A little lip gloss to glow her pink lips and eye shadow also
She did a very light make up on and sighed after wearing her heels
"all done" she said looking at herself in the mirror

"so let's go!" she sighed and walked out of the room with her bag and phone in her hand heading downstairs

She could hear their voices already and smiled.
They all froze turning to her

Ted was in a unisex wear also...Kiera and her husband were in matching wears...
She was in a gown

"How beautiful" Kiera smiled at her
"you look like a girl" Wilf said with a disgusted look on
"hello?...excuse me?...what is she before?" Kiera snapped at him
"tomboy" he shrugged
"well now she's being a girl" she fired back
"well its nice anyways" he shrugged
"I knew you guys would talk about it.... can't you act like you didn't see anything" she pouted and walked down to them
"heels?" kiera gasped at her toes
"are you just seeing them?" Wilf laughed
"oh my goodness!" Rae slapped her forehead
"you guys are making me feel ill, I'll go change it then" she said and turned to leave

Ted walked to her stopping her..."you look beautiful" he said into her eyes
"well thanks and the same time awkward" she rolled her eyes
"to be honest.. I've never seen this version of you... except from Kiera's wedding" he said
"oh that's true...chief bridesmaid" Wilf chuckled
"I do?" she asked lowly

Ted pulled her hair behind her ears and smiled pecking her forehead
"spec!" he winked

She smiled and then laughed
"fine...I'll put it on" She shrugged
"yeah and I was never condemning you" Wilf added
"yeah sure" she replied
"so first on our list is the amusement park... let's get going" Ted said and made his way to the door with her hands in his

Wilf pulled kiera more closer

"are we going to the ferry wheel too?" Kiera asked
"maybe...Paris Isn't like Florida.. let's see which is best" Ted said
"wow..he's acting manly" Kiera muttered and snickered with Wilf behind her

They went to the car garage and paused.
"The Tesla?" Kiera squealed
"yup.. we shipped it here" he replied
"you guys are....... wow" She smiled and walked to it

The doors opened automatically as she stepped in, seating at the back
"I guess Ted is driving... today is his turn" she said
"yeah I agree with you" Rae said and joined her

"guess that's true..." Wilf shrugged and sat in the passenger seat

Ted smiled and sat in the driver seat.. he was more than happy to even drive
"So buckle up your belts" he sighed
"not like you might drive....what if he leaves it" Rae scoffed
"why won't I drive...I really want to, our drive is an hour from here" he said checking the GPS
"What park exactly?" Kiera asked and sat back

She saw a popcorn package in her front and raised her brow
"did you guys put these here?" she asked and took it out since it was more than a popcorn . Other snacks were there

"yeah we know you girls would want to eat something to keep your mouth busy..especially the pregnant woman here" Ted replied
"how thoughtful" Rae replied and took her own snack

"I hope it will be as crispy to my taste" she laughed
"so what park is that?" Kiera asked as he drove away and unwrapped her popcorn nylon

"Disneyland park" he replied
"what the fvck! like seriously??" They squealed in unison
"I've always wanted to visit that place" kiera giggled
"women.. behaving like kids" Ted laughed
"like seriously same here" Rae added and leaned against her seat back
"and we are going there...so chill" he said

The drive continued...

The ladies kept admiring the beautiful places around, the street alone was beautiful even the roads itself
well decorated...

About minutes later

kiera peeped at Ted and exclaimed" I knew it! you won't drive all by yourself" she said out loud
"he left it?" Rae laughed and saw it herself
"well he did..left the Tesla on automatic drive" she laughed
"damn...I need to look around too" he laughed
"here for you" Rae said and passed his own share of snacks
"thanks so much" he replied


And the time was now...they arrived
She could see from the gate.."Disneyland!"
"yeah!" Wilf smiled
"shall we?" he asked Rae...

They all went in, children and adults were all having good time
"let's have a ride" Wilf said
"I'll go pay for the tickets" Ted said and left to pay

He did and then came back...

"have fun...I'm leaving with her" he said and took Rae along with him to have a ride
"I want those cotton candy" kiera smiled
"let's get them" He replied


And that was how it all began.... She happily got her cotton candy and ran round with Wilf..
Rae on the other hand went to the roller coaster with Ted...
he never expected her to scream but as soon as they got to the top.. she screamed at the top of her lungs

He busted into laughter"oh my you're safe nothing can happen.. and I'm here too" he said with a voice of assurance

"I don't think so!!" she screamed till they went back low

"Rae geez!" he laughed

She jumped out immediately"I'm never going back there" she shook her head vigorously and walked away
"wait for me" he laughed and went with her and bought her an ice cream
"so chill with it" he said and crossed his hands around her shoulder

she pouted and shrugged..."maybe it will" she replied

They went to where kiera and Wilf were seated
"I'm bringing my daughter here" Kiera smiled
"I'm bringing my son here" Wilf replied
"well both!" they laughed

They all ad good time till afternoon.. They got hungry and then Wilf suggested a restaurant he knows so well
"yeah!" ted nod his head
"you'll love it La Poule Au Pot , their food is very good" he said
"what are you waiting for let's go" she said
and after they took pictures they left for the restaurant

Wilf placed his order and so did they...
"you weren't wrong then" she said after taking a spoonful

"yunno.. I'm still hoping more special things are coming" Rae said
"why won't they" Ted replied


SKIP SKIP SKIP

hours later.....

It was getting dark, Wilf suggested they head home back
Ted agreed and then they headed home...
Rae had spent her day so well and was tired

The whole family made their to the car as Wilf drove

"yeah, the audition... the guy wants to see you" Yes suddenly said
"audition?...." Rae asked totally puzzled
"yeah..we helped you get one..like finally" Wilf sighed
"aww thanks but it's late and I'm tired" she said
"this is your opportunity... you better grab it" ted said
"where's the venue?" she asked him
"we'll go then" he said as Wilf made a right turn


The plan was going smoothly..

In less than 30 minutes they arrived and then he parked the car outside

A call came in through Ted's phone
"what's up?" he said and excused himself
"its all ready" she replied
"good.." he said and ended the call

He walked back to Rae and the others..."why must an audition be held in this area...its greeny" she smiled
"well its a special one I guess" he replied

"let's get going" Wilf said

They finally arrived at the floor...Rae gasped at her sight. .
Beautiful flowers around and the trees around were also decorated beautifully
The floor had candles lighted and flowers on the floor

"is this supposed to be an audition?" she asked

The grounds were more than imagination.. it was beautiful and the flower petals around smells so nice

"okay can someone tell me what's going on?" she laughed
"I can't see the judge" she laughed and turned back to see ted going on his knees
"Ted___?" she blinked rapidly
"yes Rae.. its it, there are many ways to be happy in this life but all I really want is you" he said and took out a small box

"Rae... this Isn't an audition.. its the floor for my proposal" he smiled
"proposal?" she chuckled in a teary tone
"yup...so will you marry me?" he giggled

"damn when I thought you would me more of a man you're giggling" Kiera laughed
"am I not one?" he asked her
"damn yeah why won't I??"
"you changed me Ted! yes I will marry you" she squealed
