"Thank you so much Arnold for doing this"I said to him, already dressed in his scrubs, labcoat and ID card.
"It's nothing Lucas," he said, smiling at me.
"Arnold meet my mother, Asher and we'll Sophia" Mother gave him a tight smile, Asher had a deadstare sizing him up with Sophia just turned her Face.
"Well, this way please. Put on the protective gears , slides and face mask please "
"Okay" we followed the instruction am followed him into a wide open room with father in the middle. Several sophisticated machines connected to him.
The whole place is so white and sparkling with a heavy smell of drugs and chemicals.
"Darling '' mother whipped running towards father only for the to stop and gently bend down over father while a nurse and Dr Arnold stood a little bit far.
Nurse observed while Arnold was going through some papers.
Father opened his eyes slightly and smiled at us ,tears rolling from his side.
Mother was in tears as she gentkey held his hands.
"It's going to be alright, we are here for you and God will always be here"
We smiled down at him a she kept looking at us without saying a word
"Are they treating you right? Are you comfortable ? Do you need anything"
"No, I have all that matters to me in this world right here and now" father said slowly ,taking his time word by word.

"I love you too and if by spreading the gospel of Christ I die . Then it's a fulfilling one "
"Don't say that, no one is dying. We have much more souls to win and lives to impact " said mother with a big encouraging smile.
"How are you boys? Sophia thank you for coming"

"Boys, not here. Not now" mother said.
"How did they allow you?" Father asked
"Luca's boyfriend is a doctor. He helped us in" mother said as the whole room fell silent.
Way to go, I am not ready for people and to be the ones to announce that I'm out.
"Oh" was the only thing my father said. I turned to look at Arnold who was looking stunned and still.
I sigh and went over to meet him ,held his hands and dragged him towards father.
"Father, this Arnold Thomas and we aren't official yet but he loves me " .
Tears began to roll down father's eyes and I hissed knowing that I'm probably his biggest disappointment in life and nights end him to his early grave.
This man is an anchor in the religious world.
"I tried , I sent you to football. To make you though but then I guess ,I can never change someone's fate"
We were officially all confused right now.
"Darling, what do you mean?"
"I have always known, prayed about it but guess that's God's will for his life and besides this life is too short not to be happy or be whom you want ,so you have my blessings' ' and the tears stopped.
"Thank you father" said Arnold ,bending down to Hug my father crying.
Sophia and Asher just kept shrugging and sharing glances.
"My parents weren't even religious but yet they despised me but the way you accepted your son without questioning him is so pure and the world needs more people like you father"
"The least we can do is be each others shoulder. The world is messed up enough already….I'm so tired "
"Darlings re you alright?"
"Thank you father, I love you " I whsiwlred going to knell down on the other side of the bed.
"It's okay, thank this illness. Made me have so much time for reflection"
"We will try our best to make sure you're out of here father" said Arnold.
"It's the way your boyfriend made father his the most astonishing thing" do you need an Angel to tell you that was Asher speaking?
"But I saw that Sophia will be my daughter in-law in a vision " and we all laughed rolling our eyes while father kept pointing Hsi strapped hands between Asher and Sophia who pretended to gag.

Mother said a silent prayer before we all went out. All silent , I mean all these is so overwhelming.
We were removing the protective gears when two elderly looking doctors and two police men came.
"Dr Arnold , you are under arrest and you have every right to remain silent because anything you say will be used against you"
"Do we have a problem officers , Doctors?" Asked Arnold calmly. How can he be this calm?
"You not only fuck your patients but also sneak thema round special facilities"
"Do we have a problem here?" The confident Asher.
"Who are you?" Asked the bald headed Doctor.
"His attorney"

Today got to be crazy
"I am not his patient and what prove do you have ?" I asked stepping in.
"Here "The doctor showed us a news article.

Scrolling down was pictures of Arnold and I in the gay bar, then on the motor cycle and the one from this evening him shirtless when Sophia and I had issues.
"Damn it but this might be false " said Asher.
"Doctor, I will follow you to the station but you need to know that I have submitted my resignation letter already, Mr Edgar here is not my patient anymore and he had full consent but if you want to do it the nasty way. Why don't I publish the report of Mr Edgar's ailments. "
"What do you mean?" the other doctor asked, looking annoyed.
"We both know the result came in negative but because of the grants, attentions And revenue this case will bring to the hospital. You decided to leave it like that and let the man suffer?"
"That's classified information, how did you lay your hands on it? '' the doctors stammered, even the policemen were looking confused already.
"Come into my office ,let's discuss this ethically" said the other doctor.
"No, they are family. We do it here"
"What do you want?"
"To track down the person who stalked I and my partner, delete the articles and let Mr Edgar go home"
The two doctors gave us a secidn and spoke then came back.
"You have to sign a contract of confidentiality. No one hears about this but you know the hospital rules about dating "
"I resigned already "
"Well, our lawyer will see yours " and they left with the police.
"My husband is coming home?"
"Yes"
Mother burst into tears ,hugging Arnold.
"Is this a drama or some fuvking SOAP opera?" Asked Sophia while Asher hugged as they both burst into laughter.
"Was that impressive enough for you tow any to marry a Barrister"
"Ewwww"
"Arnold, did you really need to quit?" The mother asked.
"Your son is worth it ,I wills et up a private clinic and also focus on impacting gay people like me through my organization . We should be worried about the championship game and how this might affect Lucas' ' said Arnold turning to look at me.
And it is in that instant that I knew that I love standing right here. He might be nerdy but he'll, he sacrificed this much for me and we aren't even a thing yet.
"We need to take it slow" was the only thing I said.

After saying goodbye. We came back home, said Thanksgiving prayers . Sophia and Asher will be sharing a room since we'll you know , she still isn't talking to me and I totally understand.
Sophia is an angel, I mean she even stuck around to support us.
I said a word of prayer and thanked God for giving such a supportive family. Took a shower ,it was already past midnight before taking a deep sigh and checking the articles about Arnold and I online when Harry's message popped up.
"Atleast, he doesn't wear hills and he is not bad looking. Good eye dick" I smiled knowing that I'm so lucky that it came out this way.
I just hope,coach will still take me back.
Closed my eyes after wishing Arnold good night.
