Chapter 47: One Big Family

Chapter Forty Seven
But are we celebrating something in particular?”
Oops, I almost gave away my surprise. Quickly, I shake my head.
“Nope, I just wanted to bake today. Sweet tooth, you know,” I say in a sassy tone before handing him a knife. “Here, cut.”
He takes a moment to look it over and I can’t help but sigh again, looking at this damned thing
. The cake’s pretty funny-looking, with a huge crater right in the middle, and the icing all lopsided because it’s spread too thin on one side and way too thick on the other. Plus, I attempted to add some fruit decorations, but it looks more like the fruit fairy barfed all over the damned thing. Well, at least I tried my best.
But Xander knows better than to comment. Slowly, my man positions the knife and then cuts deep, showing off a deep blue interior.
“Blue?” he asks, nonplussed. “That’s an interesting choice for cake.”
“It is, isn’t it?” I ask mysteriously. “Here, take a bite.”
With that, I feed him a large morsel of cake, and he chews and swallows before sending me a confused look.
“What’s this about, baby?” he asks before stopping with a puzzled look on his face. Xander’s itten on something strange in the cake, and he stops before waving for a napkin.
“Here,” I say breathlessly, quickly handing him one. He spits out a tiny plastic doll, no bigger than an inch long, dressed only in a plastic diaper. It’s got dark hair and blue eyes, and smiles at us with a plastic smile.
“Um, was that supposed to happen?” he asks with confusion. “What is this? Why is there a miniature doll in my cake?”
I laughed inward knowing how clueless men can be , this was a sweet idea and a way to suprise for good on his birthday and now he is acting all confused and cute .
After this birthday party, I planned a gateway vacation ,no silly. Not at the cabin but in a far away place ...Maldives , browsed and saw that the place is very good and my friend Sassy has been so supportive of our relationship,a sweet woman and her mother we never talked or anyt But she never gave me any trouble , it was all good between us and never been blessed in my life.
My family at first had questions but then ,they all came around and even my ex , who turned gay with his good looking and actual Doctor partner were all supportive , I feel like I'm living a dream!
Now ,back to our party . My boyfriend just stood there looking clueless as ever, Sassy helped me planned this on our way from the doctors office and we'll ,let me torture my baby with a little wait first
