Chapter Eight- The Shower
There wasn’t an inch of my body not covered in sticky remnants of the two men laying in bed, and I cringed at the crunchy substance in my hair as I looked in the mirror. “Nice.”
Like a dark cloud moving in to rain on the perfect evening we spent together so far, Logan was standing at the window, waiting for me. Moonlight draped across him when I opened the bathroom door, and I could see he was deep in some internal dialogue.
I know the old religion better than anyone, but I’m not a follower. Having your entire family wiped out before your eyes tends to sour you on your creators.
The moon is sacred to the Lycan, though, and he whispered his heart’s intentions to whatever make-believe deity his kind worshipped. And I heard my name leave his mouth.
The whole room was thick with his brooding. But I have enough drama of my own to contend with, so I wrapped my arms around him and pressed my lips to his back. “I should probably get a shower now. I’m not exactly what you’d call a morning person. You care to join me?”
The gold flecks in his eyes sparkled against the light as he turned to me and nodded until his gaze fell on the man snoring behind us. “Not here though, let’s use the one downstairs so we don’t wake him up.”
His fingers were interlaced with mine as he led me through the silent house. Through the dimly lit spaces we passed through, I caught glimpses of his marked-up skin and the waves of his muscles, and it set me ablaze again inside.
The soft, dim lights of the main bathroom made his sudden somberness feel even darker as he turned on the taps and felt the water in silence.
When he reached for me, I closed my hand around his, and he pulled me into his chest before backing me into the brown and tan tiled walk-in shower. “I’ve been waiting so long for this.”
I pushed the wet hair from my face and snuggled against his chest. “What are you talking about?”
His head shook as he rubbed his fingers across my cheek. “I just want you so much. I can barely believe you’re here with me right now.”
The oppressive force that stalked me all night changed again in an instant. There was a softness in the way he looked at me like someone else altogether was pressed against me. I kissed his chest and wrapped my arms around the small of his back. “Well, I’m right here.”
His cock was against my belly, and I peeked down at what awaited me and hoped I could take it all. It’d be a damn shame to waste all that. “So, what do you want to do with me now that you got me all to yourself?”
Inching to the back wall, Logan’s chest beat quickly against me. I thought he was just asking me if I thought I can handle what he was about to do to my body, but now I know he was asking for everything. Every atom of my being. “Are you ready for me, Sweetheart?”
He dipped down to meet my eyes as his hands passed over my ass cheeks and hooked around the back of my thighs. I nodded against his mouth and wrapped my arms around his neck. “Show me what you got, Mr. Alpha.”
In a single motion, my legs were around him, and his cock sank into me as my back pressed into the cold wall. The agony of him stretching me was terrible and wonderful, and I whimpered through my lips as he gave me every inch of himself.
With his forehead dug into my shoulder, his hips pounded me into the wall like they did in the foyer. Each plunge inside me and roll of his ass cheeks pushed him in a new direction, and I moaned at each new sensation. Every grunt-laced stroke was pain and pleasure, and I pleaded for mercy, then for more. “No, please, Logan. Oh, yes.”
I’ve had more people between my legs than I could remember, but nothing and no one compared to this. He battered my cunt like a heavyweight boxer, and I begged him to go deeper no matter how far he went. I never felt anything like this before, but I knew I never needed any other man inside me again.
I was so close, so I put my face against his and ordered him to destroy me. “Get it, Logan, get it, baby.”
His legs bounced me up and down, and I gasped with each blow to my insides as he grunted in my ear. “Am I getting it now?”
I couldn’t even answer him. I couldn’t breathe or think. I just closed my eyes and savored every second of this man.
It wasn’t dirty talk, and he wasn’t asking for permission. He claimed me for his own right there in the shower, and it didn’t matter what Fate wanted. “That’s my pussy.” His teeth gripped my ear lobe, and he let me know then and there that I would never escape him. “My pussy.”
Every inch of my body agreed, and I shuddered against him as he emptied himself inside me. His legs finally gave way, and he took me to the floor.
Under the hot water that poured over us, he left no inch of me unloved as he moved around my body and pressed his lips against me. The back of his fingers swept over my cheek, and he searched my eyes for something. “What is it?”
“Nothing.” There was a pain in his eyes as they darted back and forth between mine until he blinked away and collapsed into my chest. Hovering over me, he rested his ear against my heart and kept me there until the steam spread out and the water cooled.
Once he left my body, the aftermath of what he did to me against the wall finally sank in, and every nerve ending ached. It’s like they were all reaching out to him for another taste.
He stopped before the cupboard, and I saw his hand pull across his mouth before he turned to face me. His hand patted the air a few times before his finger lifted to me. “Did you feel that?”
I shivered underneath my crossed arms as I rubbed at my arms. “Are you kidding? I doubt I’ll even be able to walk after all that. You’re the champ.”
His nose wrinkled as he shut his eyes and rubbed at his forehead as he turned back to get me a towel. “Right.”
A fluffy white towel wrapped around me, and he rubbed his hands up and down my back while he held me against him. I could feel the words at the tip of his tongue, and I knew, whatever they were, I didn’t want to hear them.
The fake yawn I managed broke me from his grasp, and I blinked my eyes as I nodded to the door. “I better get to bed. I think Stella meant it when she said we were going to shop until we dropped.”
I left him standing there in the cold, dark bathroom, and I felt his disappointment in every step I took further away from him.
