I leave her to go get something to eat. The cows we stole will last us a long time. We have everything a pack house has it is just underground. In the kitchen, the cook is making rabbit stew. I grab a bowl for Sherry and bring it back to her.

When I arrive in the room, she was sitting on the bed crying. I sat next to her and hand her the bowl of stew. She takes it and eats in silence; she is not my mate but is carrying my pup, so I need to be nicer to her.

"I won't bring females into the room anymore since it bothers you so much", I say rolling my eyes.
"Thank you I appreciate your effort", she said as she eats the stew.
"I just want my pup to be healthy and strong", I said touching her stomach.
"I want that as well", she said as she passed me the empty bowl.
"Alpha", Gator said as he knocks on the door.
"Yes, Gator what is it?", I asked annoyed whatever it is it better not be bad news.
"We got news on Alpha Seth", Gator says as he takes a seat.
"And that new is?", I hate when he takes his time telling me shit.
"He is courting someone", Gator said which made my ears perk up.
"Who?", this is interesting. I was sure he would never take a chosen mate after Yvette died.
"She is his Beta's sister. Her name is Sol", he said.

"We'll find out all there is to know about her", I said to him. It is weird I don't remember Morton having a sister.
"There is more Alpha", he says as he pinches the bridge of his nose.
"And that is?", I asked getting annoyed that he is not telling me everything at once.
"We have noticed some of his pack warriors lurking around. They might be looking for you", he said.

I dismissed him and tucked Sherry in the bed. Seth might be looking for me since I bumped into him, but my question is why. First, it was the fucking hunters popping up out of nowhere, now my brother might be looking for me. Tired I get into the bed with Sherry.

**Seth POV: **

The past two weeks with Sol have been good. I have had a conversation with Danny about mates. He seems to understand and said he will like to be only friends with Sol. Sol on the other hand have been doing a great job helping Morton with his Beta duties. I have been courting her we haven't done anything but hold hands. I don't want to rush any intimacy taking things slow seems like the right thing to do.

I haven't had sex since before Yvette died. And being Sol is Morton's sister I have to make sure we are both sure of what we want. Right now, she is picking Danny up from school and will be taking him to get ice cream later. Morton asks me all the time how things are going with Sol. He said he asks me because when he asked her, she tells him it is none of his business.

"Alpha", Morton said as he walked into my office.
"What's up Morton", I say with a smile.
"I have an update on finding Stephan", he says as he hands me a folder.
"And what have they found?", I asked as I take the folder.
"They believe that his camo is somewhere underground. Most likely in the old mines under the town", he said.

"Did you ever find out how he was able to get onto my land without patrol knowing", I asked.
"Honestly I think it is because he is an Alpha son and raised here and know these land like the back of his hand as you do also. So, if he wants to get in sight unseen he can", Morton said. And I shook my head because he is right.
"You are right our father made sure since we were five years old, we knew the ins and outs of the lands", I said looking at a picture of me, dad, and Stephen.

"Want is the harm in him coming here if just to visit the crypt? He is your brother, and his parents are buried here as well. I don't see the harm if he is coming in peace", Morton's said.
"Are you speaking as me Beta or best friend Morton?", I asked.
"I am speaking as both", he said with a smirk.
"Seth.... Morton", Sol greeted us as she walked in with Danny holding ice cream.
"Hey, sis.... hey Danny", Morton said she he hugs her.
"Hey, Uncle Morton.... dad Sol got time rum raisin ice cream", Danny said happily.
"And I got you a mint chocolate chip ice cream cone for you Seth", Sol said smiling.
"Thanks", I said as I take the cone from her.

Morton left the office. Sol, Danny, and I went out for a walk before dinner. I think it is time for me to open up to her about my past. I want her to know about Yvette, me, and my brother. I know some pack members always wonder why I never picked a chosen mate after Yvette. I decided tomorrow I will take her out to dinner and tell her my story. It is only right she knows everything if he is going to be my chosen mate.
