**Seth POV:**

Getting ready for my date with Sol. I decided to tell her about my family and the issues it had. If she is to be the new Luna of the pack, she needs to know the dangers she is in. Tonight, I am going to take her to Infiniti restaurant. I haven't been here since I proposed to Yvette.

Brushing off the lint on my metalize navy blue three-piece suit with a black shirt and tie. Grab my key to my candy red Bugatti Veyron. When I walk down the stairs Morton is waiting for me. We greet each other and wait for Sol. She walked down the stairs, and I was in aww, she is wearing a gold body con dress with a black lacy overlay.

The valet took my car keys as I walk over to open the door for Sol. We are at a human Italian restaurant. Sometimes I rather go to a restaurant where no one knows I am an Alpha. It is nice to get treated like a regular person sometimes. I look at Sol the expression on her face is priceless. I smile at her as we follow the waiter to our table. The waiter takes our order we had Caprese salad as an appetizer. I ordered risotto Alla Milanese with Osso buco for an entrée and Sol had Polenta with Swordfish.

"You look beautiful my dear", I say with a smile.
"Thanks, you do as well. I love the suit mind if I wear the tie later", she says with a smile.
"I have no objections to you wearing my tie later", I said with a grin.

I must say she looks amazing tonight. The dress she got on looks good on her, she must have gotten a spray tan as her skin have a little bronze to it. We talked and ate; she told me she wants four kids. I am happy she wants kids Danny would like to have some siblings.

The food was great she enjoyed it. I figured I will tell her my story during dessert. I ordered lemon ricotta cake with almond gelatos. Sol had the chocolate-vanilla berry panna cotta tart with mint chocolate chip gelato. As we ate our dessert, I decided to start the conversation then someone tried to communicate with me via mind link.

"Seth, I hate to interrupt your date, but I need you back like right now he has an urged situation", Morton said, he sounds worried.
"Why what's wrong", I asked startled.
"I found my mate and I think she might have ties to Stephan", he said suppressing a growl.
"FUCK! OKAY, WE ARE ON OUR WAY BACK. I want the pack on lockdown everyone stays inside until tomorrow. And double the patrol", I said as I wave for the waiter to get the check.
"Okay come to the hospital when you get here, I will give you the details there", he said then cut the mind link off.

"I am sorry we have to go your brother needs me back at the pack", I said to Sol while taking care of the bill.

We left and I drove way above the speed limit. Why is it every time I get a smidge of peace my bother has a way of fucking it up? Sol is holding my knee I know she is wondering what is going on. She looks worried I don't have any information to give her other than her brother found his mate.

"Is everything okay", she asked.
"Yeah and no", I reply with a sigh.
"What's wrong", she asked worriedly.
"Your brother found his mate", I said to her not taking my eyes off the road.
"That's great what's the problem with that", she looks at me confused.
"She might have ties to my brother", I said gritting my teeth. I know the woman is Morton's mate but if she has ties with my brother, I already don't trust her.
"Wait, you have a brother?", she asked confused. She is too young to remember him.
"Yes, it's a long story and I was supposed to tell you tonight. But it will have to wait for another time. But I promise I will tell you once I manage this", I say as I grab and kiss her hand.

When we get to the entrance is seen four guards in human form and the other two in wolf form. The bow and I pass, when I take Sol to the pack house I go and check up on Danny. My little Alpha is still sleeping like that pup he is.

"I can stay with him if you like", Sol said from behind me.

I kiss Danny's forehead then kiss Sol's hand again then I go to my room and change. Of all the fucking mates in this world why would my best friend and Beta get paired with a woman who have ties to my brother? What kind of sick joke is this? It seemed like forever, but I got to the pack hospital. Morton was waiting for me with a sad look on his face.

"Please fill me in I am confused", I say trying not to stress.

"Long story short I found her at the crypt Dez told me she is my mate", he said worried and mad at the same time.
"What does that have to do with my brother?", I asked confused.
"Well, she smells like him", he said suppressing a growl.
"Like what she been around him?”, I asked him.
"The smell of him is coming from inside of her", he said growling. And I was shocked as fuck.
"Okkkkaaaay", I was speechless.
"Anything else I should know?", I asked.
"She is pregnant", damnit I had to ask.
"WAIT! I am so sorry Morton", I said to my best friend.
"I haven't talked to her to find out more details they have been with her for over an hour. Nurses are walking and in out with different shit in their hands. All I want to do is hold her and tell her she is safe", he says as he starts to cry.

I have never seen Morton cry. I myself have cried three times in my life once when I had to exile my brother, when Danny was born, and when Yvette died. I feel so bad for him. If she is pregnant with my brother, he will surely come for her and we will protect her from him.

**Morton POV: **

While Seth is taking Sol out for yet another date. I am walking the border of the pack lands. Seth is a good guy hell he is my best friend. I didn't want them dating at first but my dear sister ripped me a new one. She said she deserve to get a second chance at happiness and that I better not ruin it for her.

Or she will take her inheritance and leave me forever. It's not that I don't want her to be happy it's that just want her safe. Being a Luna or even a female Beta is dangerous they are the first target for enemies. Being a Betas sister, she has a target on her back any way I just didn't want that target to get bigger.

Ever since Seth saw Stephan on the lands, I have been walking around trying to find out how he got in. When he was exiled, he changed the patrol shifts and routes. As I get closer to the crypt I smell lavender, and honey with a mixture of Stephan. I have no idea where it is coming from.

But I am on full alert he could be nearby. As the wind continues to blow, I follow the scent. Dez is jumping up and down in my head giving me a damn headache. Getting closer to the crypt I hear someone crying. As soon as I turn the corner, I see a woman sitting in a fetal position crying.

"MATE", Dez says in my ear. I run to the woman and pick her up and hug her.
"HELP...SOMEBODY", she screams. Then I realize she is human and not a wolf.
"I am sorry", I say as I put her down.
"Pl... please don't hurt me and my baby", she said as she backs away holding her stomach Dez growled loudly.
"She is carrying another wolfs pup", Dez says with a growl.
"You are scaring her calm down. Look at her she looks dirty and hungry. Her pregnancy might be a forced one. Let's take her to the hospital and get her checked out and go from there", I said to him while looking at my mate.
"My name is Morton, and you are on Grip Moon pack territory I am the Beta here. Please let me take you to our pack hospital", I say with pleading eyes.
"Yo...you promise you won't hurt me or my baby", she asked with pleading eyes.
"I could never hurt you. And as for your baby, I will not hurt it either please I just want to help you", I say.

She nods and follows me to the hospital. I mind link the doctor ahead to inform him that I am bringing a woman to see him. I steal glances at her a notice she has a black eye and a busted lip. It was hard trying to hold back Dez he wanted to murder whoever did this to his mate I do as well.

What kind of person would beat up a pregnant woman? I should contact Seth, but I don't want to ruin his date with Sol. I will tell him once the woman is treated. Once at the hospital Doctor Mo greet us with his mate nurse Daisy. Daisy takes the woman inside the room to check on her. She helped her get undressed when she is done Doctor Mo goes in and treats her all I can do is wait for them to come out.

"She will be okay our mate is strong I can tell", Dez said trying to cheer both of us up.
"Whoever harmed her will be found and executed", I reply to Dez.
