Luke listened attentively and then nodded his head in agreement.

"But there is something", Richard continued as he leaned closer to Luke.

"There is an obvious possibility that the news would spread out to other packs. I intend on making the party strictly for the Blue moon pack only, but that doesn't sound possible in my ears.", Richard continued his statement.

"I need tight security Luke... Very very tight security", Richard said in a concentrated tone.

He knew what he was saying, the Blue moon pack just had two male children added to them, courtesy of the Alpha's family, he needed to make sure that his sons are okay till the party ended.

"You know your men!", Richard continued his statement, "you know them too well, choose them, arm them, tell them the significance of this party, let them know what they're up against".

" Alright! I'll see to it that it is done", Luke replied taking the last sip of wine in his glass and pouring it all into his mouth.

"Oh Emily, I'm so happy for you girl", Vanessa's euphoric voice could be heard echoing as she and Emily were walking through a hallway.

They walked upstairs, chatting and giggling their way up to the master bedroom.

Layla was still there in the room, looking after the twins.

But while Bryan was ever cheerful and open to little tricks and plays, Nicholas had on a flat face, showing no forms of emotions at all.

"You may leave now" Emily said as she entered the room.

Seeing Layla holding Nicholas in her hand signified that she was done nothing the children and her work was done

"Yes my lady!", Layla said as she knelt and left the room, shutting the door slowly and carefully.

"Damn! Motherhood calls", Emily said as she picked up Bryan in her hands and began to breastfeed him.

Bryan seemed completely carefree, happy and cheerful. He sucked on his mother's bosoms calmly and quietly while Emily and Vanessa were still having a chat.

"How does it feel?", Vanessa asked Emily while she held Nicholas in her hands.

"Huh", Emily asked. In some way, she didn't grab her questions correctly. She needed to understand what area Vanessa was asking about.

"Pushing out. How did it feel?", Vanessa asked her question, this time being more clear and specific.

"It was like moving a building with my hands", Emily said as she sat to remember what she felt that night.

It was something she couldn't explain, she felt uneasy, very tensed, stressed and worked out

All she felt was heat, she could feel the adrenaline rushing through her body, the blood flowing friend her heart to her head, her veins popping out very visibly.

She screamed, she wailed, but none could fix the situation of things. All she needed to do was to push with all her strength.

If everything she faced that night could be fixed through screaming, then it wouldn't have lasted for so long.

The only step to getting herself free was to push the baby out.

She remembered the doctor's words, how he held her hand, assuring her that everything would be alright, telling her of the best way to ease off her pain, through shapeshifting in her wolf form.

She did so, exactly what the doctor said, with the full moon shining it's reflected rays into the room, she could feel her body tearing, her claws stretching out, she could feel her fangs extend from it's initial position.

Her wolf form was her savior, her only remedy from the agonising pain she felt that night.

She could hear the cry of the baby, the first one coming out and the second crying as well.

Slowly, she couldn't hear the sound clearly like before, it was dying down, sounding less, the sound becoming low.

While she thought the babies had ceased their tears, she didn't know she was passing out.

Her visions became blur, she could hear the doctor calling her name from a far place meanwhile she was close.

"Emily! Emily! ", The doctor called onto her, but then her voiced were ceased, and she couldn't respond back to his call, until she was slowly drowning in the pool of void.

"It was tough. Very!", Emily said as she shook her head trying to forget what she remembered ye previous night.

But shaking her head won't change what she experienced, it was carved into her heart, and it would never leave her, at least not now.

"What about you? Have you discussed something with Luke?", Emily asked.

She could see the way Vanessa was looking at Nicholas, it seemed as though she needed a child of her own and she wasn't able to get what she wanted

"Naa", Vanessa answered.

"We've not said anything yet", Vanessa lied as she continued with her statement

She had always tried to bring up the issue if having children with Luke but he always liked to escape the discussion with some excuses of having something important to attend to.

Once she decided to approach Luke in the calmest way and tone possible.

"Can we talk?", Vanessa said to Luke who sat on a rocking chair drinking from a bottle of soda.

"Yeah.. sure", Luke replied in the Same tone, calm and easy. He sat ready to listen to what Vanessa wanted to discuss with him.

"I wanted to know your reasons for not having kids yet", Vanessa said as she sat in a chair opposite Luke.

He looked into her hazel eyes and could see the fact that she had thought about a lot of things through out the night, and her eyes were a bit wet from crying.

He could feel the pain in her heart, he felt as if he was the cause of her pain, like he was the villain in her story.

"Vanessa!", Luke called out to her as he drew closer to her.

He cupped her cheeks in his hands carefully and said to her, "I'm sorry I'm making you go through a lot of pain, but the truth is I'm not yet ready for that".

That was the best thing he could say to her at that moment, he too couldn't understand why he wasn't ready, all he knew was that he wasn't ready for kids yet.

Her eyes became wet, her heart shattered into a thousand pieces, she couldn't understand the meaning of the word, "ready" according to Luke's perspective.

A tear rolled down her soft fresh cheeks but Luke was quick enough to use his thumb to clean it off.

"Hey! Hey!! Hey!!! Hey!!!!", Luke called out to he seeing the way she was, she was in a very broken state, she couldn't help but look away from his beautiful eyes towards the opposite side

"Look at me!!", Luke said in a low tone, sounding very emotional and caring.

He hated himself for making his wife cry, but he couldn't find the right word to use and explain to her that all was for the greater good.

The only thing which sounded quite reasonable to him to say was the fact that he wasn't ready.

She couldn't help it again, she turned back and stared into his beautiful eyes, those stunning eyes of his, she could see care in his eyes, it showed how much he did care for her.

"The right time will come, and when the time comes, it'll work out just fine, trust me", Luke assured her as he held her hands and kissed her knuckles and her palms.

"Hey! Vanessa", Emily called her name, touching and tapping her by the shoulder trying to bring her back to reality.
