"Hey! Vanessa", Emily called her. She still looks normal, her mind crowded with thoughts but Emily couldn't place her hands on what she was thinking deeply about.



Emily touched her, continuously tapping her shoulders and calling her name out loud, "Vanessa!!!", trying to call her into reality again.



"Huh! Huh!! Huh! Yeah", Vanessa replied in confused tone.



She shook her head several times in order to regain her mind



She had a feeling as if she was held bound by something.



But if anything was really holding her down, it could be the thoughts of the previous years.



Obviously, she wouldn't be thinking of something that far if not first the question Emily asked her.



"What are you thinking about? So deep girl!!", Emily asked again.



She wasn't the same happy and agile lady whom she hugged at the garden few minutes ago, or what could really have been going on in her head.



Her far became Moody and her eyes became teary, and Emily could see it.



It was evident in the way she was staring at one part of the room for so long, she barely blinked her eyes.



"Hey! Bryan's done. Could you hand me Nicholas", Emily asked Vanessa who still held Nicholas.



"Oh yeah! Sure", she replied again as she sounded quite dull. She handed over Nicholas to Emily and then held onto Bryan.



"Oh..! So those are their names", Vanessa could finally put two and two together to know the name of the twins.



"Yes! The first born is Bryan, the second is Nicholas", Emily replied, finally confirming the names of the boys to Vanessa.



Even with the change of discussion, Vanessa's face was still dull, she seemed so emotional.



There was something troubling her within and she couldn't say anything out.



"Is anything wrong?", Emily had to ask. She wasn't comfortable with how Vanessa was acting, it was so weird and disturbing.



Vanessa couldn't say a word, all she could do was nod her head affirming that she was fine but she knew, she wasn't fine



"Look!", Emily said with the softest voice she had, touching Vanessa's thighs in order to grab her attention.



"Vanessa!", Emily called her name when it seemed as though she want getting her attention.



She looking at the ground, not concentrating on anything Emily was about to say.



But when she heard her name, she looked up at Emily, her eyes really teary, she was trying all her best to fight back her tears, but a drop rolled down her cheeks.



"I'm sorry I brought up the conversation", Emily said feeling guilty.



She understood now that she asking Vanessa about herself and Luke was the major reason for her dullish attitude



"But trust me! The right time will come, everything is going to be fine", Emily said in a comforting tone trying to calm Vanessa down and stop the bad feeling she had within her



Vanessa got overwhelmed with emotions and let all her pain and frustration in the form of tears.



With every tears which rolled down her cheeks, there was an iota of emotions, painful emotions which accompanied it.



Soon after, Vanessa gathered herself together and used her palm to wipe away the tears from her eyes and then smiled again cheerfully just as she did before.



"You know what?", Emily said looking into Vanessa's eyes.



"What?", Vanessa smiled raising a questioning eyebrow, puzzling about what really made Emily so happy.



"There's gonna be a party tomorrow", Emily smiled at her.



"A party?", Vanessa's said as her eyes widened.



"Yeah" Emily smiled as she said reaffirmed.

She pulled out Nicholas, wiped his mouth with a little linen and dropped him in the stroller.



Vanessa was also shocked at this update. She too pondered on what really changed?

First Emily glowed marvelously, her skin became brighter and Vanessa could see it clearly, she was more agile than ever, and there was going to be a party coming up soon?



"Wow!", Vanessa said out smiling happily with many thoughts running through her head.



"Yeah! Just telling you, go get a good dress", Emily said as she jokingly wore a frown on her face and then switched into laughter as Vanessa joined her to do the same.



"Hell...yeah!!", Vanessa said as she seemed to be ecstatic over the news.

"I'll see to it that it's done", Luke stood up reassuring Richard that he was capable of doing what he was told to do well



He looked into Richard's eyes and shook hands with him, smiled and left the garden



"Agatha!!", Richard called out to Agatha who stood a bit far from the table.



She walked closer immediately, knelt slightly and answered, "Yes alpha".



Richard stood there, his back against Agatha, with his hands behind his back, he was looking at somewhere, examining the greenly flourishing fields which were before him.



"Summon all the maids and servants", his deep voice pierced through the winds, sounding so dangerous.



"I want to talk with them all", Richard finally said as he walked back to the table and sat down gracefully.



She rushed immediately, she ran to carry out his orders, she wouldn't want to dull the task she was given.

"I'll see you tomorrow", Emily said as she hugged Vanessa and kissed her on the cheeks, watching her as she left.



Few minutes later, precisely six, all the maids and servants gathered themselves in the garden, respectfully aligning themselves in correct position.



"There's a party coming up tomorrow.. ", Richard said again with his deep voice which ooze out fear and power.



Some trembling at the sound of his voice, some were excited at the news of having a party, bit they could never express it.



Richard's dark aura covered the place and if any mistake they made was going to be detected by the Alpha wolf, tell story was obviously going to be different.



They knew the implications of having a large party, that would mean excessive food which could reach them all for days, much wine which they may also drink too.



"Agatha! You're in charge!! I need lovely decorations, enough food, and a large cake", Richard said out to her.



"Are..we..clear?", Richard asked emphatically with a deeper than before.



"Yes, Alpha Richard", Agatha replied still bowing her head to the ground.
