None of the other men could even make a move to save him. Who would want to be caught in a situation like that?



But only one of them summoned courage enough to run, with a sword in his hand, he drove the sword into Richard's skin, but Richard's skin felt so thick, only a drop of blood flowed out of Richard's body.



Richard turned his eyes and looked into his eyes, the man could see the burning eyes Richard had, Richard's mouth moving like he was chewing something, but something he couldn't recognize, and his mouth and nails were covered in blood.



He got frightened, now he saw he made a very big mistake by trying to stab Richard, but fear gripped him so tight he forgot completely how to run.



Richard jumped on him again, tearing his flesh apart without any form of mercy, and then set his eyes on the remaining seven men.



Agatha held on to both Bryan and Richard, running and searching for somewhere safe to hide.



Even she got the knowledge of what was happening, somehow someone was going to come looking for her and the babies and she needed to protect them.



"Agatha!", a voice called out behind her. She got scared, she paused for a minute, searched around for a place to hide, but all she saw was a huge pillar and she went to hide behind it.



"Agatha!!!", The voice called again, this time sounding closer than before.



Agatha stood behind the pillar, trying to identify the voice and it sounded like her Luna's voice.



"My lady..?", she responded doubtingly as she came out from her hiding spot, and walking towards Emily.



"My lady.?", She responded again as she ran closer to Emily, who sounded very worried, turning left and right searching for Agatha.



"Oh.... Agatha!!", Emily said as she held Agatha by her shoulders, and then seeing the twins in Agatha's hands.



"I thought you were dead", Emily asked concerningly. She really thought one of the men had caught up with her, and she became worried, if the men had caught Agatha, then they would have gotten the boys and that was what she feared the most



It would really be painful for her to go through all the pain of that night just to watch someone kill her babies in just less than a second.



"No my lady. I'm fine", Agatha replied.

She was the Chief maid, and it added an advantage fir her since she knew the entire house, though not entirely, but then, she knew the shortest route out of the house or the best spot to hide in case of emergencies.



"My lady, are you alright?", She asked calmly as she bent down a little.



Emily bent down to the ground, panting, and breathing heavily.



She felt so exhausted after the long run she took, but while she took some time trying to catch her breath, she realized she wasn't safe and neither were the twins, somehow, those men won't rest until they've found her.



"Quick!", Emily spoke in an exhausted tone.

"Find a good place, get the twins somewhere safe", she said pointing towards a road which was quite dark and no one could really see anything there.



"What about you my lady...?", Agatha asked. She was her servant, and it was her duty to look over Emily at all times, but now, the reverse was the case, now Emily showed enough concern mostly because she was carrying the babies.



"Don't worry about me, I'll be fine" Emily responded, pushing her towards the direction she pointed at.



Just as Agatha walked into that road, Emily watched her as she walked into the darkening part of the road.



But then she saw Agatha retracing her steps slowly, moving backwards slowly, it seemed as though someone had intercepted her way.



His looks were very frightening, it was slowly sending shivers down her entire body, she was sweating profuse, his dark eyes blended with the darkness, and his physique seemed so huge for Agatha.



While Agatha was walking backwards, walking into the light, Emily ran towards a particular direction, trying to hide herself from being seen.



She stood from her hiding spot to see his hands, stretched out to snatch the babies away from Agatha.



There and then, she knew she couldn't hide again, her babies were in danger and she had to do something about it.



When his hands were slowly heading towards Agatha, she pulled out from where she hid and shouted, "Not my babies!!!"



Close to the wall laid a table, form and strong. She ran with a lot of speed, jumped high with her feet touching the table, giving her some support as she swiftly kicked the man's face with the heels she wore.



He staggered on the ground, trying to fall but held himself, while using his hands to feel his jaw.



Her heels weren't so long, but at least it was strong enough to deliver the perfect move on his face, adding more pain to that which Richard had already given him previously.



"How are you able to do that with such heels bitch!!", He said using his hands to still favour his jaw.



She held the frontal end of her dress and tore it apart and said to him, "You forgot something... My mate is an alpha".



She ran closer to hm, throwing heavy punches at him while he blocked them skillfully, dodging every of her kicks and moves, but while he took pleasure in making her efforts seem futile, she finally got the spot she needed as she delivered an uppercut to his jaw thrice.



He felt so irate, shaking his head while he cleaned his lips, his eyes becoming dark and his anger rising inside of him.



When Emily tried to deliver the punch again with her right hand, he caught the hand firmly, watching her groan loudly.



He turned her quickly with a great force and then, put his hands on her ponytail hair, dragging her downward, and was constantly slapping her furiously, watching her scream in agonising pain.



While Agatha stood far away without being able to do anything, she watched as the man slapped Emily furiously.



She sighted a big wood which she tried lifting to hit the man's head but he caught it in mid air and pushed Agatha to the ground



Richard stood from afar, he could feel every pain which Emily felt, the slap, the groans, all of it, he could feel it on his body.



He was holding one of the men in his arms, he seemed to be last of them all, he was trying to strangle him to death, and almost at the verge of squeezing life out of him, but then the feeling he had changed his mind, and he needed to save Emily from whatever torture she was in.



Richard used his elbow to hit him at the back of his head and he fell to the ground.



He tried moving, but then Luke entered and wanted to stab him when Richard said to him, "Don't kill. I'll need him alive".



At that point Luke put his two hands behind his back, and then put his knee on him holding him down as he called other guards to hold the man too.



Richard traced where he felt the pain from, walking steadily with dark aura eluding out of him.



He saw the man, standing tall over Agatha and Emily. He saw Emily on the ground, groaning as she turned back and forth on the ground.



His face popped out a vein, he grew extremely angry, his face was clenched, and just when the man turned, looking at him eye to eye, he saw a devilish smirk on his face which triggered Richard's anger.



With his super speed, Richard ran towards him, holding him up by his shirt, he raised him up with his strength and threw him against the wall, his head colliding roughly with the wall.



He fell to the ground, his visions became blur and after then, darkness filled everywhere and he couldn't hear anything, he passed out.
