Chapter Fourteen

Emilia's POV:

"So i hear that your a photographer," Dylan asked mom,

It's kinda a weird feeling knowing that only a half hour ago i got home and also got officially asked out by Dylan and now he is here having dinner with us. Mom called Ash over for dinner so now it's practically a interrogation, well that's on my brother's behave, my mom is actually calm about this and i think she is happy i finally have someone in my life even if he is a player, i just hope he stops being a player if he's going to be with me.

"Yea i am, an Emilia here wants to be one as well. As much as it's good pay, it's also a good experience. I actually just got back from Canada for a business trip and i'm going to Italy for another job soon, maybe a week," she exclaimed with a smile,

"What!! You just got back mom. Can't you like take a break or something." Ash exclaimed, Ash never really liked mom traveling especially by herself,

"Ash, i wish i could but i can't. Ana asked for those photo's weeks ago and i came back before i went to Italy, truth is i missed you guys so much that's why i'm back, i really don't like leaving you guys because i hardly ever get to see youse. But i'm a traveling photographer, meaning i have to."

"But mom," he whined,

"No buts, how else am i going to pay the bills and everything else. On top of that we have the home business that Em takes over while i'm gone. Anyways steer the topic off me, so you have a liking to my daughter,"

"How'd youse meet?" Ash asked, cutting mom off.

I looked at Dylan and he gave me a look that's asking for help, but mom already knows but Ash dosen't,

"He broke my window,"

"At school,"

We both said at the same time, and i shot him a look,

"He did what!!" Ash exclaimed, his overprotective side coming out,

"I already knew," Mom said, but i think it was aimed at Ash

"And you're ok with this. He broke a wind.."

"Ash that's enough, come on Dylan were going out for abit. Mom i'll be back later,"

"Sure honey, have fun and be home by twelve." Mom told us and i nodded. Mom is one of the cool mom's, i think it's cause she feels bad that she hasn't been around much because of her job, but we still love her to bits even if she's not around much, i'll be going to meet with her in the holidays so that's good,

"You're letting her go... Emilia, you're not going anywhere go back to your room." Ash exclaimed his brotherly overprotective side coming out once again,

"NO ASH. Your the one that said 'live alittle' and i am. By the way, did you tell mom about your girlfriend." i raised a brow and a smirk come to my lips as i saw his cheeks pinken,

"Ash you have a girlfriend!! why did i not find out till now!!" mom pouted, here we go,

I leaned into Dylan's ear, "Let's go right now, before Ash snaps out of his trance,"

"Mom, i was going to tell you when you first got here on saturday and we all got distracted so..."

We snuck out before we could hear the rest of what he was saying. I didn't see any other type of transportation parked out front, so how did Dylan get here,

"Dylan, how did you get here? like what i mean is that there isn't any cars here so..."

"I normally walk if that's what you're asking, i only live a few blocks down." he told me, with a half smirk,

"Dylan, where are we going?" i asked him,

At the moment were running through what looks like a park full of trees, it's dark and all you can here is the bark under our feet when we step on it and crickets along with other wildlife. You can imagine what i'm feeling right now, since it's only me and Dylan, on top of that he is holding my hand. I'm freaking the hell out!!!

"You'll see," he told me, but that's not enough information,

"Dylan... Where the hell are we going!!" i exclaimed, i hate the fact that where in the park in the middle of the night,

"Oh i see, Em you're scared." he said with a cheeky smile, don't ask how i can see in the dark. Just the moonlight,

"haha, you think i'm..." i started clapping my hands like a seal, "oh i'm not scared Dylan," i told him in a sarcastic/serious tone,

"Oh your not!!" he said walking towards me,

"Boo!!"

"AHHHHH!!!" My heart started racing faster, and i heard laughing, he was laughing. "What the hell?"

"It wasn't me," he told me with a shrug, and was still laughing, what is with guys,

"No it was the tree," i said in a sarcastic tone, still breathing heavy from the scare,

"No actually, it was me,"

That definitely did not sound like Dylan,

"W-who are you?" i asked slightly terrified, and again i hear laughing. What's so freaking funny?

"You don't recognize my voice," he chuckled, now it's starting to sound more familiar, "Guess, one guess and if you get it wrong i'll tell you." he told me,

In the moonlight i can see bits of his face and his hair, it's dark, his hair is dark and his eyes stood out in the moonlight, brown. Dark hair, brown eyes,

Hunter.

"Hunter? Are you freaking kidding me, what the hell do you think you're doing!?!" i exclaimed, he in fact scared the living daylights out of me, i have a right to be annoyed,

"Oh, nothing just strolling through the woods," he smirked, HUNTER!!!, now if this was a cartoon i think there would be smoke coming out of my ears,

"YOU FREAKING SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME, AND YOU SAY YOU'RE JUST STROLLING THE WOODS AT WHAT TEN THIRTY AT NIGHT, YEA RIGHT." i yelled pushing him harder enough to make him fall on his ass, which he did,

"Shh, you will wake the wild dogs!!" Dylan told me, putting his finger to his lips,

Wild dogs... Wild dogs did i get that right, wild freaking dogs. You have got to be kidding me,

"Is this some kind of prank?" i asked scared out of my mind,

"Nope!!" he said pressing his lips together to form a straight line, and i gulped and closed my eyes,

"This is just a dream... that's it, this is just a dream and i'm going to wake up any given moment." i convinced myself,

All of a sudden i hear a growling noise coming from behind the trees. To say i'm scared is an understatement. I'm terrified.

"Did youse hear that?" asked a panicked Hunter and i swear i am shitting myself,

I gulped, "Is this some kind of sick joke?" i said pressing my lips together,

"No,"

"RUN!!" yelled Hunter,

I ran for my freakin life all the way to my car as fast as i could. There is no way i can be here, i need to go home, and when i turned to see where the boys were, they weren't there. Even more reason to run faster. As soon as my car was in sight i ran faster than an athlete, fiddling around in my pockets for my keys and when i couldn't find them,

Isn't funny? that i like to dance when i'm on my own, when it's sunny (yeah),

Getting startled by my ring tone i jumped, and didn't bother looking at caller ID,

"Hello?" i asked my voice weak, and still shaky from being terrified,

"Where are you Em?" Sounds like Dylan

"Same goes to youse, where the hell are youse. You have my keys." I panicked, seriously they were right behind me, where can they possibly be,

"About that, i don't have your keys," My breath was caught in my throat, my baby's keys are missing and i can't drive her, argh. "Emilia? Emilia, you there?" asked a concerned Dylan,

"Yes, i'm freaking here and if you don't find my baby's keys you're dead." i threatened, My. Car. Keys. Are. Missing. My car, i can't go anywhere without my car, "Where the hell are youse?" i asked beyond pissed,

"Calm down Em... We are up in a tree stuck, the dog is below us. And it's growling like crazy, no joke." I could faintly hear the dog growling in the background, great.

"How do we get rid of it. You know i have to be home soon." i said through gritted teeth, i am annoyed, pissed, tired and i have school tomorrow could today get any worse,

"Do you have any food on you, maybe it's just hungry?" Dylan asked me and if i had food it wouldn't be on me, it would be in the car and that is locked, "Well,"

"If i did, it would be in the car and my keys are missing. So seems like i can go home now, i'll leave the job for you to find my keys and return it by morning, i'm going home." I told them,

"NO WAIT... EMILIA," i smirked, at least my house isn't far from here, "EMILIA, LISTEN TO ME. DO NOT GO HOME..."

Beep.

Beep.

I looked down at my phone and it was on 1% battery, too bad for them i'm going home. Just because Dylan asked me on a date, doesn't mean i'm going to help him with a wild dog, but what i'm not understanding is why is Hunter out here, it's weird cause the thing is i didn't tell him we were here, unless Dylan did,

"Mom... Mom..." i yelled banging on the front door and panting heavily from running all the way here, my house keys were attached to my car keys. Now aren't i smart, "Mom..."

The door swung open and there stood my mother looked worried and concerned, she stood there for a second before she made movement to hugging me,

"Sweetie, what happened? Where's your car? Where's Dylan?" She shot all these questions at me, and she looked very concerned,

"Dylan...he...wild...dog...keys...lost..." i said between breaths, and i was huffing and puffing, i ran home how i found the house don't ask,

"Sweetie, calm down. Breathe. Now what happened." she asked calmly, looking at me straight in the eyes, trying to figure it out, "What about Dylan and wild dogs?" she asked,

"Mom, there was a wild dog at the park... and Hunter was also there, their trapped in a tree... i lost my car keys while i was down there so i ran home, and my phone died." i told her calming my breaths her eyes were wide, and her mouth in a 'O',

"Where is Dylan now?" she asked, with a worried glance,

"The park." her eyes widened more,

"Ok, you're lucky we have Coco i'll grab some dog food and you grab my car keys. Meet in the car and hurry." she ordered and we went as fast as we could, i quickly grabbed the keys and ran to the car and when i got there mom was already waiting there,

"Hurry up, honey," i unlocked the car and hopped in.

Once i told her the directions to the park we were at we arrived and my car was still there. Meaning the boys are still here, maybe. I took mom's phone and called Dylan, if his phone hasn't died,

"Emilia?"

"Yes, its me. Who else would call you?" i said sarcasticly, "Where are you, i brought help." I told him,

After that he told me where he was and me and mom was on the move. It took us a while to find them since it was dark, but cause mom knows her stuff she had a flashlight on her phone and it helped, not much though.

"Dylan!! Hunter!!" i yelled, trying to find them, then i heard that growling noise again,

"Follow the noise mom and stay close," i warned, expecially since it's a wild dog were dealing with.

Walking through the dark trees in the park, we finally found them... up in a tree... with a dog barking at them, it was the funniest i couldn't help but laugh.

"Ohmygosh, they got trapped by a dog... in a tree. Lolz, remind me how were friends." Ava let out, with a laugh,

"Haha yea, me and mom had to go save them and luckily i found my keys, few. But yea they were up in a tree." i explained to them,

"But Em, HE ASKED YOU OUT!!" Phebs squealed, and i had to block my ears from her squealing, and people turned around to look at us,

"Ok, ok, shh." I looked around and tried ignoring the looks from everyone else, "He didn't exactly give me date details," i told them, after what happened i don't think he wants to date me, but it was funny,

I opened my locker and grabbed the things i needed for first period, getting startled by a kiss to the cheek,

"Morning beautiful," he smiled,

Didn't take Dylan for the romantic type,

"Morning, get a good sleep?" i asked him, with a slight smile followed by a yawn. Well i didn't go to bed till late last night, so it's expected,

"You think, after that dog and then we had to find your keys," he told me playfully,

"Uh uh uh, don't put the blame on me for you not getting any sleep, maybe you were thinking of me too much." i smirked, well that took him off guard since Dylan Collins actually blushed,

"Well you are the only thing that i think about... mostly." he told me with a cute half smile,

"Maybe so, but you still owe me a date," i said pressing my lips together trying to be cute,

"Hmm, do i now?" he chuckled, and i raised a brow, "Chill, i'll text you the dets."

"Ok, when do guys say 'dets' no guy i know says that." i smiled, walking to first period with him by my side with his arm around my waist,

"Well sweet cheeks, i do and you can deal with it." he winked, with a sly smile,

"Ok badboy, you do that i have a class to get to." he pulled me closer to him and kissed my cheek,

"Well i'll see you on break then." he whispered in my ear and smirked, i wonder what that brain of his is thinking. After that he walked his way while i entered the class not noticing Faye behind me,

"Don't think that a relationship with my brother will last." she told me and why was she talking to me again,

"What does that have to do with you?" i asked her, annoyed. We were barely a couple and people already have their doubts. That's why i don't care what others think,

"Oh trust me, i have nothing to do with it. Just thought i should let you know since he was two timing a good friend of mine." she told me annoyed,

Layla.

"Whatevs." i mumbled and walked to my seat,

"Dylan's starting to have a more public relationship with you now aye," Phebs nudged and winked at me playfully,

"Hey, we aren't even a couple yet," i exclaimed, and rolled my eyes,

"Oh, but you will be."
