Chapter 10

Already late in the evening coming back home, he noticed that the couch was stained although it was late at night he summoned everyone to the sitting room to come to answer why the couch was stained and when he had gotten everyone into the main house he didn't need to tell them that he was pissed with what had simply happened and Isabel was the one in charge of cleaning the spot so she was asked why the place was nasty. When she explained and recounted everything that had happened that morning Khloe who was standing by Scott tried to lie saying she didn't spill it on purpose she said while she was passing Isabel had placed her leg in a somewhat menace manner so she would trip on it and fall thanks to the couch which was in front of her it caught her fall and also she stained it and she told Isabel to clean it she wondered why Isabel had not cleaned it yet. On hearing, this Scott was fuming and saying things which hurt and insulted Isabel saying she wouldn't know the value of what she had destroyed because she would never be able to afford it in her life and then he left and went into his bedroom with Khloe on his trail smiling a sinister which only cause Isabel to begin crying because she knew she was not to blame for this and now Scott had added it saying she should make sure the couch was clean before he returned into the sitting area in the night and he had stopped Claire from helping her clean it and even when Ms Marcy and Claire wanted to intercept saying Isa had not caused Khloe to fall he didn't want to hear any of it.
She had succeeded in removing a certain amount of it and everyone in the mansion was asleep at least that was what she thought and she had drifted off just a little bit as she was ok her knees scrubbing the couch.
Scott came to the sitting area and standing at the door frame he saw her sleeping form slouched on the couch face front and knees and with the scrub on her hand, he felt a tinge asking himself why he had been so mad at her and left her no choice to explain herself? And he didn't even hear when Ms Marcy and Claire wanted to talk to him.
He knew Khloe was to be blamed but that was his favourite couch and he was just forced to react the way he had reacted towards her so he slowly went to wake her up but as he got close he noticed her flushed lips, baby hair with sweat laying, and her soft breathing he was about touching her when he asked himself what he was thinking and simply just called out her name and she jerked as though she had been cleaning but he told her it was enough and she could go take a rest meanwhile she would continue the next day.
She left and went to the worker's quarters not being able to even change out of her work clothes she was that exhausted and just wanted to be in the dreamland and that's what she did she fell asleep hard she even forgot to close her room door at the time when she usually woke up her alarm clock rang but she didn't hear and it was calorie who had to go rush in and stop the alarm clock and also to wake her up rem8nding her that it was time for them to begin the new day's work but seeing how exhausted her friend as she told her she was going go cover-up for her for two more hours and Isabel could sleep through those hours while she covered her and then when she awoke she would be able to take over from there, she was grateful that she had someone like Claire in her life at that moment so when claire left she went to the bathroom and took a shower and made sure she licked her room don't with the key from inside she didn't know the lie Claire was going to be but she knew the young woman could cover it up so she went to bed at least now refreshed she slot through the two hours and sure enough she was good to begin working from where Claire had stopped she thanked Claire and Ms Marcy for helping out and when she went to continue working in the couch she had been punished to clean she found it was not just clean but sparkling clean and she went back to ask who had cleaned it and she was told by Claire that Mr Scott had called in some professional cleabers who had come and had done the job within minutes with a grumpy Khloe insisting that it should have been Isabel to clean it.
Honestly if one could think closely you would think Isabel and Khloe knew each other somewhere but no she just met the woman a few days back but the woman already hated her with so much passion that was bothersome to the other workers at home who began asking if Isabel had done some damage to Khloe but she said she had not done anything wrong to the woman probably she was having some insecurities which she wasn't seeing because she had everything any man would want in a woman except she wanted Isabel's smart mouth. It was a relief for Isabel to find out that Khloe had gone back to her house because she had to go out of town for one of her modellings works somewhere and she was going to stay there for quite some time and it was going to give Isabel some breathing space from seeing her da and smelling her perfume around the house but just as she was being happy saying she would be free from her for some time, Claire told her Khloe was moving in permanently when she came back from her work.
