Chapter 8

There was a lot to this house she had to get accustomed to and when they were back into their rooms Claire followed her so she could help her settle in properly as the two women were packing things into the shelf Isabel (Isa) asked if Scott was going to. one back anytime soon but Claire told her there were times he didn't come home for days because he was with his soon to be wife Khloe.
And just like any other pair who would sit and work Claire began to tell Isa what goes on when Khloe was around she told her Khloe was somewhat a bit h and wanted everyone around her to lay down as she walked around and she also made mention the young woman was a pain to live with and when she was around she did nothing but cause problems around the house and also she made Scott get angry at them for no real reason.
When she heard this she thought to herself she was going to make a mental note to stay away from the Khloe lady since she knew didn't take this from anyone let alone from a fellow lady who might just be out to disrespect and belittle her.
"I know what you are thinking Claire said to her, Khloe is a very troublesome person and you can not avoid her even if you wanted to because she would always look for you just to have that gratification of having to see Scott scold at his workers that was her best moment and Scott loved her very much that he didn't want to have her complain or state someone had made her angry" Claire went on to say.
"Oh well from frying pan to fire," Isa said and they both laughed their bonding time was short-lived when her mother Ms Marcy called from out indicating that Scott was back from his wherever he went to although he had said he was going over to the office then again he had passed by his girlfriend's place because he wasn't alone he had come in with another woman who looked extremely pretty and her body was the bomb and for some odd reason Isa kind of felt she wanted her body to be that way with no love handles.
But then the lady's attitude was that of a spoilt diva.
Scott simply went upstairs probably to have a clean shower and return for his late night coffee which of course he was going to have because he had to work overtime tonight he had not had the leverage to work at all.
He had left at the time he dropped her off to go see his girlfriend and they had gone at it continuous times and he had not down any lucrative job so this night he planned on having a zoom meeting with his business partners and go through some work before going to bed that night.
Our diva Khloe had ordered a cucumber and mint water for detoxification at that time of the evening and guess what? She had insisted Isa be the one to prepare it and Claire had sensed trouble because of the way Khloe had said it she was looking for a spot to maybe spew the trouble she had with Scott that evening because it seemed they had quarrelled on their way here and it was either one of this two things; she was sex and maybe he had refused to tell her he was tired or better still she needed money for shopping which of course wasn't a problem for Scott but she was taking it way to much she was being too extravagant and he wasn't liking it and when they quarrelled she always settled on the fact that he didn't like or love her and she was fond threatening to leave the relationship because she knew he lives her so much he would beg her and then fulfil her wishes.
Isa made the detoxification drink and took it up to the room door she had been sent to and when she knocked she didn't know why Khloe was trying too hard to make her know what was happening inside of the room but she knew the girl was up to something.
When the door was opened she saw Scott bareback toward the door his hair was freshly out of the shower and his chamomile body wash filled the entire room and Isa felt she was in a trance and she just wanted to be in this space when all of a sudden the drink she had brought was spilt on her and when she asked what the problem was Khloe claimed it wasn't the way she wanted it seeing what was happening and he didn't want to get involved in such he carried laptop into his walk-in closet and word would have it from Claire that he had like a small office space where he worked in the walk-in closet .
Shouting and saying Isa should clean the mess that had been created it took everything in Isa not to smack the fake lashes out of her face.
She went out and came with a mop and cleaned everything and stubbornly didn't bring the drink anymore for the spoilt brat who thought the entire world revolved around her Claire sympathised with her and helped clean up what was ruined and they went to bed that night.
Isa still felt she needed to deal with Khloe but it was rather too early for that so she kept her cool and went to bed that night and was awakened by her alarm the next morning and went to take her to bathe before she went into the main house and began her day's work when the diva girl came down with a tantrum claiming she couldn't sleep well because he detoxifying drink wasn't brought to her after she refused rejected the first one and she wanted to gnaw at Isa's head but she could because when she did so the sarcasm which she received was what she wasn't expecting from Isa.
"You know you could work on that attitude or better still work on your damn detoxifying drink alone," Isa said and when Scott entered the kitchen she was about to tell him she had been insulted but he wasn't into listening he just gave her a quick kiss and walked out with her cursing and planning hell for Isa.
