Chapter 16: Dinner

When the couple arrived they realized that Isabel had already gotten home and was helping out with the cooking in the kitchen.
Claire and her mother weren't happy with what Isabel had told them happened but then again they just had to condone what was happening around them.
Anger was filled but Isabel told them not to bother themselves because she was most probably thinking of the fact that she had been the cause of Khloe going to the hospital in the first place so she didn't want to be angry did she even have the right to be angry?
Khloe entered the house with so many bags from their little shopping although she had claimed she wanted just ointments for her face so it would soothe the Burns she had bought more than her hands could carry so the girls came carrying the bags while she gave a smug smile towards Isabel meaning she knew what she was doing and she was certain whatever she was doing was hurting Isabel.
Scott had gone upstairs as he earlier mentioned and had said he had to rectify the issues of his companies as soon as possible.
And when Isabel had seen him struggling with his presentation she went in and asked him if he needed help.
"What do you know about business for all I know your parents had to give you up because of their clumsiness with money and also you don't seem to have finished school, I don't have time to play around so just go do what you are here to do," he said and turned to his computer trying to figure out what he would do with the work before him.
She was mad at what he has said so she decided to stand up for herself besides she only had use for her because of her parent's clumsy nature towards the use of money so she spoke her mind all he could do was send her home to her parents or punish her because the money her parents owed him was humongous making it difficult for him to just let her go.
"Sometimes being humble is the key, not having to look down on others is essential because I asked to help you doesn't mean I have nothing to do with my time so please could you mind the way you talk to me my late ts might just be useless when it comes to money but I have dignity and I am the one who has to pay for their clumsiness," she said with all her chest held high waiting for him to say what he wanted to say or the punishment he was going to get out to her but what he said next was nothing connected to what they were talking about.
"We have a dinner date I and my girlfriend and I would appreciate it if you be on your best behavior and help Claire and her mother to prepare dinner for the both of us if you would mind getting out I want to work," he said to her and she left the place angrier than she had ever imagined.
The dinner preparations were going on and the new dress that the couple had bought from the shop and all of them were supposed to wait on the couple while they would be having a romantic dinner going on.
Claire's mother had to take her rest so the only people who would wait on the couple were Claire and Isabel she stood there waiting for the people who would need anything and called them and as usual, they Khloe kept calling in them for the littlest of all the things on her table just as though she didn't have hands to do these things it was annoying but what could they do.
The essence of the dinner was to be happy Khloe didn't die a concept she had in mind stating she didn't die because of the hot sauce in her beauty product.
Her face was red but it was beginning to heal with the ointment she was applying to it when they were done from dinner the plates were cleared from the table and the couple went on to take a walk in their garden.
"Damn girl you sure did a number on her face," Claire said laughing at the way Khloe's face looked.
"Hey claire you better shut up if you want to keep your job you know she is troublesome and can cause the puppet she calls a boyfriend to fire you and you wouldn't want to be fired from your job remember you work for your tuition," Isabel said she wasn't all that happy after what had happened in the office when she was simply trying to help but had received an insult she didn't feel too good about that so she was still feeling bad because it was her parents who had caused her to be belittled she had wanted a happy life to get married, have kids of her own and have a big company being the CEO she had plans of foster g herself till she was in the business school her problem was to go get a fully paid scholarship and instead of that she got to be stuck in this house with all the maltreatment she was receiving the insults and everything the hurt she was feeling she couldn't hold her years anymore as she ran upstairs holding her face in her hands and Claire following behind to see what was happening to her to cause her to cry because she was sure there was something wrong with Isabel one was she had never known why Isabel had began working here and also she had never asked but looking and hearing their woman speak she knew that there was more to it that met the eye of what she saw and she wanted to console here friend because she knew her friend was hurt from something so she had to be therefore her.
