Chapter 19' ACCEPTING FATE

After leaving her parent's house she finally concluded that she didn't have parents and she was an orphan because she could not understand how her parents could continue living their life as though she didn't exist in them.
She ran from their front porch and down to the bus station to take a bus to where she had been confined for the rest of her life because of their debt.
Rhetorical questions were all that filled her mind as she continuously asked herself if she was worth living.
Her scholarship had been stopped and she couldn't even boast about having a degree since she was home all the time just working and going through hell in the hands of Khloe and Scott who took no mercy but to make her life miserable.
She was crying heavily as she sat on the bench buses came and passed but she didn't take any and then the rain droplets on her body as she sat there thinking of what she had done to deserve such parents.
Then a car stopped in front of her and she wasn't looking as she continued going but the car kept honking indicating it was for her but she didn't want another creep to destroy her day thinking she was a street worker who needed help she just wanted to be left alone but the driver would not let her be as he kept honking and she finally turned to shoo him away when she realised it was the doctor from the hospital "Doctor, Curt" she said his name as she was still trying to understand what he was doing here and why had he been the one to find her because she wanted him as she liked him and she didn't want him to see her in this state.
"What are you doing in the rain you might get sick come into the car " he urged her but she refused claiming she was already wet and she was not going to get into his car because he thought it was right to get into his car.
"I insist Isabel come into the car and we can talk about whatever is disturbing you I don't mind getting my car wet" he is sited but she wasn't having it she just wanted to be left alone.
Seems Curt wasn't one to take that easily as he stepped out of the car and the next thing she knew she was being carried off her feet and the door opened and she was kept in the car seat.
It came as a shocker to her that he had decided to get wet just so she would get into the car.
"At least somebody cares about me" she mumbled and when he heard what she said he didn't ask or force her into talking to him he rather drives to his house and when they arrived there he opened the car door and she stepped out before he said "Welcome to my humble abode, I didn't want you to come here like this on the first day but fate always has its way of making things happen," he said trying to make small talk and laughter all she could do was smile.
When they were inside she was shown a bedroom where she was going to freshen up and be out but she didn't have any spare clothes.
"I don't have share clothes so I think I better get going" she made for the door but he told her not to worry as he would look for a solution. As the water cascaded down her body she cried and tasted the tears in her mouth as salty as they tasted that was how her life tasted at that moment she was feeling all sorts of anger and hatred towards her parents.
After about fifteen minutes in the shower, she was out to find a pair of jeans and a tee shirt had been placed on the bed and she. she wore they fit perfectly, "Where did he get the clothes?" she asked herself and when she went into his living room he had made a cup of hot tea so she could drink before any other thing.
"Those clothes fit perfectly you know!" he said to her and she smiled which didn't reach her eyes but she was grateful nonetheless.
"Those are my sister's clothes she left them here the last time she came visiting and she doesn't care if they exist anymore so you can keep them" he went on to explain since he knew the obvious question she was going to ask was who's clothes she was putting on.
She nodded her head before she continued to drink her tea feeling embarrassed about what was going on at the moment she had come to his house but under a condition where she couldn't handle it.
"What is happening with you? I hope you know you can confide in me and ill do everything in my possible power to make you feel better " he said and she began tearing up as the memories of how her life had become because of her father's useless lifestyle had led to her being under the custody of a man she didn't know so she explained to this man but not everything but she told him how she was feeling and then he tried to console her as he told her that she was stronger than she knew it and she should try behaving as though nothing was happening.
She smiled and then she told him the rain had stopped and she was supposed to start going because her boss was going to be waiting for her and when Curt heard that he decided to take her home instead of the car they came in with he took a smaller one and carried her home and when she dropped and waved him goodbye Claire who was satnd8ng by the front gate saw her coming in and was happy to know who the handsome young man was and asked how come she was with other clothing but all she wanted was to go in and rest before the evil couple came back from where they had gone to.
