Chapter 71

Mia and Marina turned their attention to Gabriel. Mia was stunned. He shouldn’t be here. He wasn’t supposed to be here. How much of their conversation had he heard? She decided she didn’t want to stick around to find out. She grabbed up Amiyah in her hands, she shifted slightly.

“Where are you going?” Gabriel bared his fangs. Marina staring dumb-founded at the entire situation.

“Home. Away from all the betrayal and lies.” She responded, not intending to tell him her true ploy. Gabriel wouldn’t fuss at her knowing the truth; he never used to care in the first place how his actions affected her. Hell, sometimes he showed her just what he was capable of doing without feeling guilty.

“Put Amiyah down, Mia.” He demanded eerily, “and let’s talk.” He took two steps towards her, she held onto Amiyah tightly.

“We can talk when you get home tomorrow. I have nothing else to say to Marina.” Mia wanted more than anything to leave this house and she did everything she could not to set Gabriel off. She didn’t want him realising that she was about to leave because she was certain he’d try to stop her.

“No, let’s talk now.” He reached over and grabbed hold of Amiyah, Mia resisted, glaring into his eyes. Gabriel didn’t care about hurting Amiyah by tightening his grip causing the child to awaken in tears. Mia gasped and immediately let her go and straight into Gabriel’s arm she went. Unlike him, she couldn’t bear to see her daughter in pain.
He handed Amiyah off to Marina. “Can you give us a while? Maybe take Amiyah out for dinner.” He didn’t take his eyes off Mia to see his mother nodding in conformity to his will.

“I want to leave this house, Gabriel.” Mia said again, staring at Marina and Amiyah. She placed Amiyah down, she was awake and crying while Marina was wiping off the flour from her hands. Taking Amiyah up and soothing her.

“It seems like these discussions cannot wait.” Gabriel hustled his mother out the house and closed the door behind them. Mia was pacing, she had to play it cool. They’d had numerous arguments like this before.

“I don’t see us having anything to discuss.” Mia sank down into a seat, refusing to look directly at him. She could tell he was patrolling her, stalking until he was ready to take control of the conversation.

“Why are so upset?” He came to stand in front of her. His body towering over her felt to imposing. She immediately shot up to her feet and walked around him to the opposite wall.

“Other than the fact that you and Marina have been making a fool of me for years?” She shrieked in disbelief. Did they really think their actions were justifiable? Gabriel only raised his brows at her as if she’d lost her mind.

Mia spun around and blew air out of her lungs. “I am leaving.” She said, bolting to the door. Talking to Gabriel didn’t hold any merit in her eyes. She didn’t want to talk.
Gabriel was in front of her before she had completed her third step. “And what about you, Mia?” the muscles in his face was twitching, he’d caught the beginnings of his shift before she had the decency to be terrified. He was too close to her, his breath sending the tendrils of hair that fell on her face on a swing ride. Mia rotated and walked away.

“What about me?” She asked incredulously. He had the audacity to turn this around on him. “You had no shame!” she chuckled sardonically, “You had your mother send me off to your mistress for legal advice.” She scoffed.

“Don’t act like the innocent, Mia.” He’d shoved his hands his pockets. Mia twirled around to look at him, her filled with disgust. This man would never take responsibility for his actions. It was always somehow her fault.

“Then why can’t you let me go, Gabriel?” She asked the question that had been on repeat in her head for three years. There was no love, no commitment, not care between them. And yet, he would rather keep her caged than see her fly free.

He shrugged, “Is the whole, ‘if I can’t have you no one can’ bit too much of a cliché?” He laughed, rolling his eyes. “Truth is Mia, there is nothing I can’t have.” He’d stopped laughing, striding towards her. Mia stepped back with every step forward he took until her back hit the wall.
Before she could move to another direction, his hands slammed at the sides of her, blocking her from escaping. She glared up at him through hooded eyes.

“You are crazy.” She spat, the words infiltrating his eyes and he inhaled sharply, his nose crinkling as his face twitched in anger.

“You haven’t seen crazy, yet.” He growled and she twisted her face to the side. He grabbed her chin and pulled her gaze towards him, she lowered her eyes defiantly.

“Who told you about all of this?” His voice was shaking as he forced to keep it calm.

“That’s none of your business.” Mia struggled to get the words out, her jaw was beginning to hurt with the pressure he added on it with his grip. She raised her leg up and jabbed him in his stomach, Gabriel was more taken aback by the attack than he was hurt. His grip on her had slackened and she took off for the front door.
A tiny incredulous smile took homage on Gabriel’s lips. No matter how much she tried to run, he was faster. He grabbed her up by her waist and pulled her towards.

“Let go!” Mia growled, her legs kicking up in front of her, her sundress gushing about from the frantic movement. Gabriel dragged her back, throwing her onto the floor. Mia landed on her shoulder; she rolled around and grabbed the site automatically as she attempted to scramble to her feet.

“Can I make a guess as to where you learned such information?” He had bent his knees and lowered his body closer to the floor. Reaching out and grabbing hold of her ankles and pulling, she slid back down to the floor with a thud. A shocking pain reaching up from her butt to her lower back. Not a sound exited her mouth, but her face was expressive. Gabriel gazed at her repulsively.
His hands were climbing up both her legs. “A little rejected birdy told me you have been fucking Harvey Regal.” As the words permeated out of his mouth, his stomach turned and he saw red. Mia’s eyes connected with his; like a deer caught in headlights. Her expression was all the confirmation he needed.
His eyes turned wild, Mia scraped her nails on the floor to get out of his grip but he was too strong. Her hands were grating painfully as she tried to pull away. He used his grip around her knees to pull her body closer to him.

“No,” Mia managed to cry out, clawing in the opposite direction, “Let go.” She begged but she was dragged underneath him. He turned her, her tear-soaked eyes looking up at him. He pinned her arms above her head, sitting down on her torso to limit the force of her struggling under him.

“Did you ask him to let go of you when you spread your legs for him?” Gabriel snarled in her ear.

“Gabriel, stop.” Mia pleaded with him, she was twisting about hysterically under him, her limbs growing tired.

“Did you ever ask him to stop?” He questioned, looking down at her as if he was seeing her for the first time for that night.

“Was this what you were wearing when you let him fuck you in his car earlier today?” He was growing angrier, “ Did you lift up that dress for him?” He removed one of his hands from holding on her to hands above her head. He only needed one anyway. Her wrists were small enough to fit into the palm of one hand.
He used his free hands to pull her dress further up. Mia twisted about again, crying out, fresh tears drowning her eyes.

“Here I was waiting for you to welcome me back into your bed, cutting off all my mistresses. You had me deprived for so long and all that while you’ve been lying still for another man to take what is mine.” He lowered his chest to hers, bringing his face to hers. Mia twisted her face in the other direction and he took the chance to bite neck. Mia groaned out in pain, his teeth searing into her flesh.

“You owe me, Mia.” He said, unaffected by her sobbing. “I need to make you mine again.” A sinister smile spread across his face as his fingers hooked into the sides of her underwear and he dragged it down. Mia pressed her legs together to resist his plan, but he used his knee to dig into her thigh, the blinding pain causing Mia’s eyes to cloud as she clenched her jaw.
She couldn’t withstand the pain any longer, her legs relaxing and he dragged her underwear down to her ankles. “Such an enticing make.” He glared at the nude lacy thong she’d been wearing.

“Was that for him?” If he could, he’s shoot the man right now. But for sure he had plans to take care of Harvey as well. “Are you wearing a matching set?” He pulled at the neckline of her dress, the fabric ripping to reveal a lace bra that was indeed related to the underwear.
His mouth went dry. “Now this hurt me, Mia.” He cupped one of her breasts, pulling the bra down to reveal her perky nipples. “Child birth, hasn’t affected your body one bit.” He said with admiration. Mia’s chest was heaving, she was squirming underneath him.

“What do you want, Gabriel?” She asked desperately. “You want me to stay, I-I’ll st-stay.” She promised. She just wanted him off her. But he ignored her gazing down at her body in awe. Her body shivering underneath his gaze.
Gabriel sat up on her, pulling at his belt, sending it flying. He was enjoying the wide-eyed expression on Mia’s face as she shook her head desperately.

“No, no.” Her voice was cracking, chest was heaving. “Gabriel, don’t.” She begged at the sight of his erect penis in his free hand. “Please, don’t do this. You don’t have to do this.” Her entire body shook as the tears began choking her.
He laid his body down onto her. “No.” Mia screamed with all the energy she had left, he released her arms from above her head and used his hands to pry her legs open. Mia tried to push him off with her hands, she was using all her might to shift her body but he’d pinned her down. All the energy she was using was only tiring her out.
She couldn’t breathe. “Gabriel, please.” Her voice was dreadfully urgent.

“Hush now,” He placed a hand over her mouth to stop her screams. Mia tried to find a grip to bite him, but she couldn’t, his hand didn’t shift no matter how much she trashed her head about. “You have been letting a random stranger put his dick in you,” He sighed as he forced his penis into her. Mia screamed into his hand, her eyes soaking, her throat sore.

“It’s your husband’s turn.” He pushed into her. Mia pressed her eyes closed, crying hysterically as he kept plunging into her. “Stop.” She cried into his hand, pushing against him with her arms, using her nails to scrape his neck, back and face. But it barely hurt him. He’s pushed his face into the croak of her neck and her nails were not long enough to cause damage.

She’s always cut them as short as possible since having Amiyah. She felt his sperm leaking down her inner thighs as his body slumped against hers. Mia couldn’t stop crying. He pulled his out her and stood. Mia crawled on the floor, her legs sore, her entire body in pain as she managed to raise her body up in a semi sitting position against a wall. She drew her legs up to her chest and heaved as if she hadn’t tasted air in days.

The front door opened and Marina walked in, Amiyah in her arms. She took one look at the scene and there was no doubt in her mind at what her son had just done. He was fixing his pants, beads of sweat splattered across his forehead.
Mia was cowering in a corner. A far off expression on her face. Her clothes tattered and ripped, her face soaked with tears and her body trembling.
“Don’t come back home tonight.” He told his mother, who was preventing Amiyah from staring at the scene.
Mia gazed up and saw Marina. “Don’t leave me with him, please.” She begged but Marina slowly backed out of the house and left.
