CHLOE'S P.O.V

8am, I woke up due to the sound of my alarm which rang out of my phone. I instantly tapped the stop icon due to its noise. It was then I realized it was Monday morning.

“Oh shit, I’m late for school” I instantly jumped out of bed. Due to my hastiness, I didn't even bother to arrange. After taking my bath, putting on my clothing’s, I knew i was about to have another horrible day at school which was usually lightened up by my best buddies.

I walked down the stairs and was not surprised to see Freddie and jack waiting for me.

"Ready for school" Mom asked as she was setting the table "Yes mom ready from school" i said as i walked to the table, hanged my bag on the chair then settle down for my food.

Instead of eating, i decide to chat with Michelle but i was stopped by my mom’s table manner which i said with her “No phone on the table" I said with her "Yea, yea i know" I answered back then started enjoying my bacon, egg and cheese sandwich.

After my meal we moved out of the house and luckily we meet James and Kelvin on their way to school. Together we walked down the old long Zaquon road and to worsen it all, it began to rain lightly so we had no choice than to run, yelling “haa”

We shouted until we got to the school gate already soaked with the cold morning dew and half hour late but still lucky enough to catch up with the first class.

However, the class doesn't seems like a real class to me as students were seen busy playing, chit-chatting, singing, sleeping and putting off their tasks, until the bell rang and the hall way speaker announced a special assembly.

"Good day everyone, i just got the memo from the school management. Uh i hate to say this but i just have to" Principal Bradford announced as the students stood and stared at Bradford impatiently waiting for the next speech.

"So, today was supposed to be a public holiday so to wrap it up, no school, everybody go home" on the word home, everybody rushed out of the room in delight like people running away from a crime scene and before you could say "Jesus Christ!" the school was empty. thank god i could finally do my thing without any anyone around.

I put off my half cold wet shirt, left only on my underwear almost naked until i put on a nice yellow t-shirt with a blue jean mini-skirt, ready to go meet Michelle at her house who wasn't in school due to the outpour of rain.

I walked out of the school hall to meet Freddie and the guys discussing or probably preparing for their basketball training.

"Big bro, tell mum I’ll miss lunch. I’m off to see Michelle, be back before 7" and nothing less than a sec, i was out of sight.

Up to the Kolvax spaceship, Luther watched the humans having fun in the park, house yards and other fun places through his evil computer. He caressed his chin even though there was no beard on it.

"Hmm, those fools are happy taking a day off from school, not bad" he ended with a shrug

"You want a nice holiday? Then you're gonna get one” Luther muttered to himself as he rubbed his palms together. He then turned towards the entrance of the darkroom that looked dark “lady mantissa! step forward!" Luther commanded as out of the dark, a gigantic non-stable praying mantis marched forward with a speech that as no good in it.

"i am the answer to your problem. i'll just absorb the fun out of everything and the humans will be left with nothing but total boringness!" lady mantissa unstably said as she moved left, right, shaking and jumping up and down.

"haa that's an abject cause for laughter” Luther said as the two roar into laughter.

“Launch your attack!" Luther vigorously said as he banged the red button and whoosh, mantissa left for earth after saying "as you wish..."

Up in the sky where a ball could be seen flying towards different direction. Bunch of happy children played and threw their ball into the air. They had the opportunity to play around only because it appeared to be fun day, not until lady mantissa showed up on top of a building "haa… there's fun in this one!" she said as she lifted up her wand which extracted some cyan colored light from the play scene.

Immediately the kids stopped in a state of perplexity.

"uh what are we doing again?" little Tommy asked looking dull just immediately.

"i don’t know, just seems to be tossing this little ball?" Lara who appeared to be older replied with a frown on her face as she dropped the red ball on the ground.

"Well, i don’t find any fun in this game" One of the kids said with a shrug.

"me too, seems this game doesn't pay off after all. Well I’m going home" Mae added as she walked away same as the others who left the park in a non-exciting way unlike the other days.

"haha... time to catch some more fun" lady mantissa said as she jumped down from the building.

Trying to take a step, she was challenged by two voices which happens to be jack and James.

"Hold it right there!"

Turning back, she saw James and jack standing in front of her in an alertive stance.

Due to their faces which was showed to her by Luther, she however recognized James and jack "ha! rangers, I’ve heard about you, but never have i heard about how interesting you guys are, troys attack!" She cried out and suddenly from tin air, gang of troys teleported right in front of them.

"Should have expected this" Jack uttered as he ran and ducked an attack from a troy who flies over him into a trash bin. He proceeded with a right punch before doing a cock-storm which sent them backing down. "Too easy"

"Haa" James front flipped over some group of troys and landed on a metal ground before doing a diving spear to one of the troy who mistakenly hits the rest.
