A ranger's choice

Michelle Lopez is a young blonde teenage who resides in the city of Carlsville. She was given birth in San Francisco before moving out due to certain reasons.

Michelle's dad - Doron Lopez is a business man who has travelled wide and far. He's the founder of Doron enterprises located in San Fransisco. As a business man, it became difficult for him to visit his family who resides in Carlsville.

The Lopez house is situated ten meters away from Chloe's house and also five meters away from school. The living room appeared to be furnished with pictures, frames design and paintings of the residents including their father.

As usual in the morning, being the only two people in the house, Michelle and her mom decided to have breakfast that morning instead of heading to Ashley Tru. Still eating, Michelle caught sight of her mom staring at her with smile on her face "Mom, why are you gazing at me"

"What me” She made a fake laughter “no am not" before continuing with her meal

"Yes you're" After much forth and back; Audrey spoke out "Okay guess what"

"Firstly mom you know I’m not good at guessing so why don't you just say it" Michelle returned as she took a spoon of her clam chowder.

Audrey then dropped her spoon, sighed before speaking out "Okay. Doron has decided to settle down"

"settle down" Michelle wondered with her brows raised.

"Yea! at our hometown- San Francisco" Audrey replied broad smile.

"Seriously"

"Yes and he wants us to come over"

"Come over, to do what? Visit him?" Michelle said with a confused gesture but instead, Audrey bursted into a tiny laughter.

"No honey. Don't be silly. Your dad wants us to move over and live permanently at San Francisco" Audrey replied with a smile on her face. She stared at Michelle who puzzled with her mouth opened a bit “you're kidding right"

"No honey, isn't it great? You, your dad and i together as a family" Audrey felt excited as she held Michelle hands.

"That's great" Michelle said as she parted a tiny smile out of her face "but"

"But what honey?" Audrey cuts in which made Michelle sigh before standing up from the table, walking towards the living room. Michelle sees a frame of herself as a kid placed on a shelf. She takes the frame staring at it as she moved to a sofa sit. Audrey saw her mood and decided to stand up, heading to where she is seated.

"Honey what's wrong" Audrey asked after sitting beside her.

“Nothing mom" Michelle asked still staring at the frame but this time without a smile

Shaking her head in disagreement, she said "uh-nh, something is wrong. Why don't you share it with me"

Michelle then dropped the frame before turning her face to her. She gazed at her mom’s lovely black eyeballs "Mom."

"Yes honey!"

"Going to San Francisco with you and dad is one of the best thing that I've always wanted but the thing is i can't leave" Michelle ended with a slight frown.

"Why honey"

"Uhh; you know, there're some things i do here in carlsville that I can't leave" she replied trying not to reveal her secret.

"What kind of things"

At that she tried to think of something she could say without blowing up her secret "Okay, um yea, first of all i school here, and um, uhhh i have many friends and hmmm" Still trying to think of what to say, Audrey cut in "So! is that so important than your family"

"No mom. That's not what i mean, what I'm trying to say is that leaving this place will be very hard for me. You know, i grew up here living with you, Chloe and the rest. Now saying that i wanna move out, it's pretty hard for me" Michelle replied with a sad face. Audrey stared at her daughter and knew how she felt.

"Honey i get what you're trying to say but we are talking about family" Audrey reminded

"But mom"

"Okay okay! Honey, i'll give you time to think about it. is that okay?" Audrey cuts in with a question which lit her face up "Yea, thank you mum, you are the best. I love you" she said as she threw her arms for a hug.

"Love you too honey" Audrey replied before disengaging from the hug "so uhhh i got to see Chloe"

"Alright, but just make sure you are back before dinner" Audrey said walking Michelle out of the door "I will, bye"

"Bye honey" Audrey closes the door, walks up to a sit and began to ponder on what Michelle said earlier

Inside The ranger base, James and Jack are seen training without their sabers, Kelvin with the help of Chloe is seen working on a new weapon called "The arrow saber". Meanwhile, Freddie went out on a ranger’s business meeting outside Carlsville.

James and Jacks’ training…

James raised his fist and gets into a fighting stance same as jack who stands with his body facing James.

James runs at Jack and swings his fist. Jack ducks and punches him in the stomach "ow! Sorry dude" Jack apologized before elbowing him in the back which made him fall to the ground.

While James was getting up, Jack walked over to him but unexpectedly James gets close, throws a punch at him. Jack blocks the punch by holding the fist in his hand. James throws another punch but it’s also blocked. Leaving no option, James later head butts Jack.

Jack backs away holding his head in pain while James finally gets up. "ow! sorry dude" James apologizes as he helps jack from the floor.

"Have this" James hands jack a tissue to clean a little blood on his forehead "That was little hard" Jack replied as he retrieved the tissue with a chuckle "You can say that again"

Suddenly, the door to the basement opened as Michelle walked in fully wrapped up in her coat with a moody look

"Hey guys" Michelle greeted in a dull sound without looking into their faces. She walked to her seat, laying her head on the table with her eyes closed.

"Mich, check out this weapon i made" Kelvin tuned and displayed his weapon to Michelle "So Lllegit" Chloe added

Raising her head a little she said with a fake smile "Wow, great. Good work kel" before taking her head down.

Kelvin noticed her mood and decided to approach her "hey babe what's wrong, why are you so moody and worn out" but instead she said "It's nothing"

"nah!, don't tell me that. Something is bothering you" Kelvin tried to force words out of Michelle.

“Mom wants us to move to San Francisco" she finally said loudly which made them exclaim “what”
