Greatest fear 7

Mirloc appearance in the city made the people scamper for their lives. He walked on the road that was meant for cars, with his sword on his hand. Many of them stopped their cars and ran out to a safe place to hide.

Mirloc on the other hand saw this and began to laugh. He loved it when people fear him a lot. However he was growing impatient at the arrival of jack. He then thought of an idea.

he took his blaster and tried to blast a citizen who clearly didn't see him approaching.

But all of a sudden, jack who had transformed into the fire saber black ranger, ran into the scene and blocked the attack using his bull shield.

"are you okay?" jack asked the citizen he just help. Still shocked on what just happened, he could not say anything than to nod his head in reply.

"Now get out of here" and immediately he took to his heels.

"Welcome black ranger. I never thought you could make it" Mirloc started.

Jack grunted before speaking out "I'm not a coward like you, i'm just here to make things straight which is letting my friends out of your prison but I'll give you a chance to surrender yourself and release the other rangers"

At that, mirloc bursted into laughter.

"You seem to be a brave one. No one dares order Mirloc but since you've done that, I'll make your search very easy" mirloc ended with a wicked smile.

"I don't think so" shaking his head in disagreement, jack said.

"Then why don't you find out" Mirloc stretched his hands signifying him to come over.

"No problem" Jack smirked before running in full speed with his saber in his right hand. He raised his saber in the air and striked mirloc, but the attack was defended with mirloc's sword which caused their blade to hang for some seconds.

"Ahh" Mirloc then released his sword from Jack's saber which made him stagger backwards. Mirloc used the opportunity to strike jack who was not watching.

Both right and left came out sparks from his suit, but not withstanding, jack ran and leaped into the air, coming down with a straight kick but once again, mirloc striked him and this time he fell to the ground in pain. "argh"

"Looks like you're not just only brave but a weak one at that" Mirloc made a light chuckle. He took some steps towards Jack who was some meters away. Jack on the other hand stood up and leaped again, coming down with a straight kick. Mirloc ducked the attack and tried to strike jack but he titled his body right and left.

Seeing this, mirloc then stretched his sword towards Jack's chest but luckily for jack, he blocked it with his saber which made the two blades meet again. They challenged each other with the sword, pushing themselves front and back but as usual, mirloc was the first to disengage his sword from jack's saber before sending a slash to jack. The slash created a force which took jack into the air and then to the ground.

"It's over blacky" Mirloc said while converting his sword into a blaster. He pointed it at jack, pressing the trigger and then boom, the blast went straight to jack who was trying to get up. It however created an explosion which brought out flames and smokes.

But shockingly, jack ran out of the fire with his shield which clearly explains that he defended himself from the blast with his shield.

"It's not over until I say so" Jack stood still gazing at mirloc with a smirk. He threw his shield into the air which surprisingly disappeared out of sight.

He then yelled "Activate fire saber bull power, haa" running with great speed, he used his left hand to hit his fist and his elbow then he leaped before hitting the floor which sent out electric fire straight to Mirloc.

Mirloc stared at the electric fire coming towards him, with a smile on his face before teleporting into a mirror that was on his left side.

Raising his brows, jack became surprised at what he saw "Hey! come back" he yelled and ran towards the mirror only to find mirloc mocking him with a long laughter.

"Nice try blacky" Mirloc said before fading out of the mirror.

"Mirloc come out" jack yelled before banging his fist on the mirror "You're a coward, show yourself" he yelled again and shockingly the pictures of the rangers was displayed on the mirror by mirloc. They looked worn out, tired and embedded with pain.

"Look, look at what you've done. You've failed your fellow rangers, you've failed them" Mirloc tried to get into Jack's head by showing him the picture of the helpless rangers.

Seeing this jack staggered backward with his mouth hanging in shock "Guys" he yelled at them, craving for their attention but they were to weak to answer though they acknowledge his presence with a weak gesture.

"oh god, what have I done? what do I do? I gotta get them out before it's too late" Jack muttered to himself as he stared at his helpless friends. Inside his suit, he closed his eyes and started reflecting on the training he had earlier that morning. Slowly, Kim's words start playing on his head.

"You are going to learn how to battle with yourself blindfolded because when in battle, anything can be taken away from you. your friends; your sword, morpher, your eye balls or even left alone"

Her words kept ringing in his ear and heart repeatedly till the extent, he started saying the words together with her voice. After some seconds, he stopped and then took countless number of deep breath, tightening his saber on his right hand.

"I can do this, I can save my friends" with his eyes still tightly closed, he muttered to himself.

Still with his eyes closed, unknowingly mirloc used the advantage as he jumped out of a mirror that was right in front of jack. He leaped with his sword in the air, ready to strike jack.

"Jack watch out" weak Freddie yelled faintly which was of no use as jack didn't hear him.

But to their greatest surprise, to mirloc's surprise, jack defended the attack (strike) with his saber which formed an X shape. This caused mirloc to exclaim "uhn" rasing his brows if he ever had one.

Jack on the other hand made a smirk and said "You were wrong, i'm not only a brave ranger but a strong and a smart one" he then released his saber from mirloc's blade before giving him an X slash which made him fall to the ground with smokes coming out of his monstrous body.

Just because of that, an usual strength came on the rangers and they felt powerful enough to stand up to their feet, making a cheer to jack even as they were still stocked in the glass "way to go jack" "yeah, nice one jack"

Mirloc still on the floor stood up slowly with his hands on his body part "argh, you gonna pay for that" he said threatening jack who was not even looking.

"It's time to join the others rangers" this time, jack heard and saw him trying to open his mirror.
