Chapter 9

**ELLA**
On the morning of the third day, the first thing I did when I woke up was to get up and start jumping, I was finally fine, and I could leave the room. I have no complaints. Jonathan took care of me, but I want to go out and get some fresh air.
"What do you think you are doing?" He told me in a heavy voice from sleep.
"I'm happy, I'm fine, and I can finally go out to see the girls." I told him, and I fell on him and started kissing him. He hugged me and smiled at my childish behavior.
"You must be careful."
"What do you mean? I'm perfectly fine."
"I know." He said and he get up.
"I'm going to get ready to go to the office, to finish my work."
"Do you want to go for breakfast first?"
"Not now. I don't have time." He said and left in a hurry.
I have the impression that when he said to be careful, he did not mean my foot, but as usual, he does not talk to me about anything. I wonder if he found something to do with John, and he's hiding it from me. If he doesn't want to tell me, I will find and ask the girls if they know something.
"I'm Ready. I'll be in the office if you need me." He said when he came out of the closet, dressed as usual in totally black clothes. He kissed me on the cheek and disappeared from the room.
As soon as he walk out, i get to up to take a bath and get ready to go meet Mia.
"How are you;" I asked her as soon as she opened the door. She fell on me to hug me and i almost lost my balance from her speed.
"I'm so happy that you are okay!" She said smiling.
"Me too. Let's go for a walk! I want to go out."
"Yeah, sure, that sounds good. I get bored too because Blake was super busy all these days."
"Where is he now?"
"They have a meeting again." She told me indignantly and I laughed with her.
"You have to deal with the fact that our mates will be busy with the pack the most of the time."
"Yes, i know." She rolled her eyes.
"Olivia?"
"She left in the morning. She went to visit her parents, but she will be back tomorrow." She told me.
"Ok, let's go then." I pulled her out of her room.
"Wait!" I told her suddenly and i stop walking.
"We need a car. How will we go to the city?"
"We'll take Blake's car, he won't mind." She replied and ran back to the room to get the keys. When she returned, we continue our walking to the garage laughing and joking about everything. As soon as we arrived in the garage she unlock the car and we jump in.
"What do you want us to do?" She asked me.
"Let's go for breakfast first and we will decide what we will do next."
"Does Jonathan know that you left?"
"Does Blake know you got his car?" I asked her back, and she glared at me. She burst out laughing, and I started laughing with her.
When we arrived outside our favorite cafe, where we always sat the past two years, she parked the car and we entered the cafeteria.
The waitress came to take our order, but she looked at us strangely when she heard what we will eat but she didn't make a comment.
I noticed Mia have her head down, and I grabbed her hand.
"Are you ok?" I asked her, and she raised her head to look at me.
"Blake has been yelling at me because we didn't say anything before leaving and he's asking where we are."
"Did you tell him?"
"Yes, he doesn't know no for answer."
I shake my head, these boys can't leave us alone for one minute.
"Do you want to bet that they will be here in a minute?" I asked her and she rolled her eyes.
Our food came after a while, and we started eating, but the noise from the door which open, along with their scent from our mates, made us both turn our heads to look there. As they enter all the girls in here looked at them as if they were ready to eat them alive, but they have eyes only for us.
*He is perfect*
*Calm down girl.* I told my wolf who is drooling over him.
They sat next to us and immediately Jonathan put his hand on my waist and he bowed his head to speak in my ear.
"Why did you leave without telling me?"
"I didn't know I need your permission to leave the house." I answered him ironically.
"Ella .."
"Jonathan, don't start now, It is not the place, we will talk at home."
He agreed with me, but back at home, we will have a very serious conversation. I don't need anyone's permission to go out and he must understand that i can defend myself.
Mia and i finish our food fast while the boys wait for us without talking. Obviously the atmosphere between us is tense and we want to go back as quickly as possible.
On the way back Mia went with Blake and i with Jonathan's car.
While he is driving, I'm looking out of the window and i don't pay attention to him.
"Are you angry?" He asked me.
"Yes!" I answered him sharply without turning to look at him.
"Ella" He said authoritatively, and as I couldn't bear it any longer, i turned to look at him.
"I don't need anyone's permission to go out with my best friend. You don't need to follow me everywhere!" I screamed
"I'm your alpha!" He shouted and his eyes have already started to turn black.
"You are not! I have not even became a member of your pack yet! Even if I was, we're mates! We are equal if you remember!!" I don't believe he used his rank to me.
He stopped the car on the side of the road and got out, I did the same, and now we are standing facing each other. He seems to be pissed and takes deep breaths with his eyes closed.

"It was too much to come to find us. You can't follow me everywhere. I just wanted to spend some time with Mia! Two years in this city nothing had happened!"
"It was different then!" He tried to say calmly.
"How? Because you are my Aplha now?" I know my words irritate him but I'm not going to back down. Some things need to be clarified from the beginning. I don't want to end up a helpless woman next to him, I wonder where my Jonathan went, that sweet man who looked after me and took me to the most romantic date by the lake.
When he opened his eyes, they had returned to their standard colour and he approached me to caress my hair.
"Let's go home."
"No, I'm not going anywhere!" The close contact may bring butterflies to my stomach and all I want is to kiss him but I am not going to succumb so easily.
"What do you mean?"
"Not if we don't clear up the situation!"
"Ella, stop it."
"I don't want to feel imprisoned in my own house. If my life will be like this from now on, I want to go back to my old apartment!" It was all or nothing at this stage that we were, I know that I overdo it and that deep inside, I don't want to leave, but I hope this will shake him and clear his mind.
"You would not dare to leave me!" He growled, and the vein on his forehead made its appearance.
"Try me!" I said and i crossed my arms in front of my chest.
"You will not leave me."
I didn't answer him. All I did was look him straight in the eyes.
"Ella .."
But still nothing. His eyes began to darken again and his breathing became heavy. He look at me in the eyes and i can feel his powerful aura, although doesn't affect me in the slightest because we are mates.
He make the step that separated us and without any warning, he lowered his head and with his hand he caught my hair and immediately i felt his canines piercing my skin. My screams were so loud that scared the birds from the surrounding trees and made them fly away. When he finished, he looked at me with a satanic smile on his lips.
"Now, you will never leave from my side!"
In my dizziness I recognize the voice of Zeus who was in control.
All I did was look at him coldly. I can not believe he did this to me, I felt betrayed and broken. I can see that he is talking but I do not hear him because my ears are ringing and i start to make steps back. He tried to come close but i shift and i start to run away from him.
