The next morning I opened my eyes and did not see Jonathan next to me. I got up sitting and tried to hear something, but I realized that he was not in the room. I was surprised that he left so early without talking to me. After so many days it is the first time I wake up and he is not with me and felt disappointed. Images from last night come to my mind and I feel my face on fire, the bond between us is stronger than ever now that we have completed the mating progress.
I feel that my soul has found the lost piece that it lacked. When I was little my mom used to tell me stories about mate bonds and at the same time I saw how much my parents were in love. I always wished to find someone to live the same happiness as them. Of course, everything may have changed after their death and I was even hiding my identity from Jonathan in the first days of our acquaintance, but now I no longer regret telling him the truth.
I got out of bed, but my eye fell into a big box on the coffee table. I approached and took it in my hands, it had Jonathan's smell on it. I put it back down and opened it and it took my breath away. Oh, my Goddess, it's a royal blue dress. It has spaghetti straps and it has to reach my knee and I restrain myself not to wear it now. I noticed that the box contains matching shoes and a note.
**I'll pick you up for dinner.**
*He's got great taste.* Aria told me, and I can't help but agree with her.
*-Jonathan?* I called him at the mind link.
*-Yes love.*
*-The dress is breathtaking. Thank you.*
*-I'm glad you liked it.*
The dress is perfect but it did not explain why I did not find him when I woke up.
*-Where are you?* I asked him.
*-Something urgent happened and I left very early in the morning.*
*-What's going on?*
*-Nothing to stress love. You just have to be ready for the night.*
Our connection was abruptly closed. This man must learn to talk more, I will become Luna, I must know if something happens. I can not help but worry about his safety but on the other hand, I know that no matter what happens he will come back without a scratch.
I carefully put the dress aside and went towards the bathroom to get ready for my day. Now that he's not here I have to go down for breakfast. Not that I missed it, I just liked it a bit more when we just had our breakfast on the balcony.
When I got to the dining room it was full of people but the girls were not there, so I sat alone at the table where we always sit.
When I was almost done, a girl that I had never seen before appeared and sat across from me. I looked at her with my eyebrow raised.
"Good morning Luna."
"Good morning. What can I do for you?"
"First of all, my name is Sofi."
"Nice to meet you," I said.
"I need a favor. I asked and they told me Alpha is not here."
I nod my head and she continues.
-"I want permission to leave."
-"Why?" I asked with wonder and saw her blush.
-"I found my mate and I want to go with him."
-"That's very nice. But you know, I haven't officially taken my place. So I can't give you the permission you're asking. You have to wait for Alpha Jonathan to come back."
She opened her mouth to a perfect O.
-"Okay, I'll wait. Thank you."
She was disappointed and left. I can understand her, she wants to go live with her mate so badly. It's unavoidable And I'm sorry I could not help her because if I could, I'd let her go at the same time. Everyone knows that when you find your mate, all you can think about is getting close to him, but when it's not from the same pack, your alpha must release you before you can join your mate's pack.
It made me think about when I'm officially going to be Luna, I want to officially take over my duties so I can finally help Jonathan.
*Why don't you ask him?* Aria asked me.
*You don't know what selfishness means.*
*He is our mate.*

Aria wasn't too happy with my answer. And she stopped talking to me. That wolf would do what Jonathan asked her to do, she doesn't know what it means to have pride.
As I was going up the stairs, I saw Mia coming down and she smiled at me with a tease.
"So, did my advice work?"
"Good morning to you, too," I answered her and rolled my eyes.
"Common on, I was thinking about you, but if I can tell by his smell on you, I'm sure you had a good time with him." She winked.
"Shh.. are you crazy? They can hear you!" I looked around to see if someone was around and she started laughing with me.
"I can't believe that you feel embarrassed. Look at you, turning into a tomato." She is holding her belly from laughing that much. I took her hand and dragged her into my room, she can't be my friend sometimes.
"Can you please stop?" I asked her once I closed the door.
"Yes, sorry." She wiped some tears and started to take deep breaths to calm down.
"What is that?" She pointed her finger at my dress and she took it in her hands to take a better look.
"It's perfect." She added.
"Jonathan gave it to me this morning." I smile. "He asked me to be ready for dinner tonight."
"Really? Do you know what this means?" she asked me, raising her eyebrow. By her look, I think she is thinking something that I will not like at all. I shook my head and I waited for her answer.
"I am going to help you get ready and we are going to have fun with that."
I rolled my eyes at her excitement, but this probably will help me to calm my nerves until Jonathan is back. With that my best friend didn't need anything else, she turned on the music and called Olivia to come to join us. They put a face mask on me and at the same time they started painting my nails. We danced and laughed a lot, time passed very quickly. In the evening they start with my hair and my make-up. Once they were finished I put on my dress and my heels, I stood in front of the mirror to look at myself.
"You are looking like a princess." Olivia commented and Mia came to hug me.
"What time is it?" I asked the girls.
"Almost 8."
I nod my head and I call Jonathan in the mind link
*-Jonathan?*
*-Yes, my love.*
*-Are you here?* I noticed that he didn’t come into our room to get ready and I wonder if he had arrived yet or not.
*-Of course, I'm waiting downstairs.*
*-Ok, I'm coming.* I told him and I turned to the girls. I informed them that he was waiting for me and with a quick hug I started walking down the stairs.
He was standing in front of the door wearing black jeans and a white shirt. He is gorgeous as a supermodel. The shirt shows his macular hands and shoulders.
Oh, my Goodness, I can feel that I have saliva at the corner of my mouth, but I can't help myself, he is breathtaking.
He approached me before I took the final step from the stairs. He took my hand and he smiled.
"You are perfect." And I saw his eyes turning black for a second.
"Thank you."
"Let's go."
I nod my head and we start walking towards his car which is waiting outside the house. He opened the passenger door for me and then walked towards the driver's seat.
"Where are we going?"
"It’s a surprise." He said without turning to look at me, but he took my hand and raised it to his mouth and kissed it. I decided to change the subject.
"Where were you?"
"I told you that I had some business."
"And I can't learn about your business?" I asked him, raising my eyebrow.
"Don't worry about it." He said but he pissed me off a lot.
"I am your mate if you forgot."
"I have not…" He started but I interrupted him.
"You know Jonathan I have every right to learn if you are in danger."
He started laughing at that and I was shocked by his reaction.
"I'm serious. Why are you laughing?"
"My love, do you believe that I will ever be in danger?" He shook his head and I looked at him like he grew a second head. He has a big ego and too much confidence, I believe that he doesn’t know what danger is. I tried to keep my calm, I did not want to ruin our date, but we will have this conversation later.
One hour later we arrived outside a restaurant. I was looking at him while he was coming by my side to open my door. I got out and he wrapped his arm around my waist and we walked inside. They guided us to a table next to the window and I was happy that we were not near others. I looked around and I can tell that it is very expensive.
"I know that you don't prefer this kind of restaurant, but I hope that this night will be special for us."
"I don’t mind, it's beautiful," I answered but I gasped when I realized what he said.
"Special? Why?" I look him straight in the eyes.
"I was hoping to have your Luna ceremony in 2 days. That's why I was out all day, I made all the preparations."
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I will have my ceremony, I will be Luna, I will join a pack. I don't have words to describe what I'm feeling, I got up and I sat on his lap ignoring all the others and I kissed him. My wolf is doing a party inside my head and mentally I laugh at her behavior.
