EPILOGUE.

**Desiree’s POV.**

They say that you always have two choices; to choose the path others made for you or make your own path and take it the way you want to. Sometimes, you might feel as though other people know what is best for you, like they know you better than you know yourself- that is complete bullshit.

Yes, I have made some bad choices in the past, most of which affected my relationship with a lot of people but the question is; did I regret it?

No, I did not and I will gladly make those bad decisions a million times over if they were to bring me to where I was today. Obviously, people will always be there to remind you every goddamn time of every mistake you have made but it is solely up to you to give a damn or care about all they have to say.

Mistakes are made to be learned from; you make shitty mistakes so they would not happen again. You have to make bad decisions to make good ones, never allow anybody’s opinion affect your life in anyway and never do anything to regret it later on- that would be your biggest regret.

I have slowly learned to appreciate my mistakes over the years, after all, those mistakes have given me the most wonderful mate in the world and the cutest pups a mother could ever ask for. Harrison, Chloe, Nathaniel, Xavier and Damion were my life, they were my family. I had given birth to Chloe first and she was turning four in a few months while Nathan, Xav and Dam had just turned two- yes, I had been blessed with triplets which were all boys. So yes, all my mistakes were worth making.

“Baby, what are you thinking about?”, I felt my mate’s glorious arms wrap around me, encasing me in their warmth and I smile fell upon my lips as I turned to face him,

“I was just thinking of how great our life turned out to be”, I told him as I adjusted his tie, “You look absolutely ravishing in a suit, have I told you that before?”,

“Yes, you tell me every time I put one on”, he placed on a smirk that made my insides squirm.

“But I think I would prefer it sprawled across the room”, I leaned in to kiss him but he turned his cheek towards me so I could only give him a peck, “If you do that, we will never be able to make it on time for the coronation ceremony”, he pointed out, “Plus, your father would know why we were late and would try his hardest to make the night extremely uncomfortable for me”,

I groaned loudly, “We do not have to go”, I made my voice seductive and went as far as unbuttoning a few buttons on his jacket, “Plus, I do not even like my brother’s mate, she’s a bitch”,

“That’s a lie and you know it, Candace is a very sweet girl”, he was actually right, my brother’s chosen, Candace was a good person even though she was an Alpha’s daughter. I mean, my mother and I have gone through every Luna flaw book but she was free of all of them and my father had accepted her immediately- sometimes, I wished he had given my mate the same energy but I understood why that was not possible.

“I know, I love her and I hate it so much”, I admitted before going to my vanity mirror, “Are the children dressed up?”, I asked him as I put on my diamond earrings,

“Yea, the boys look dashing in a suit I tell you, they will be turning the heads of every female very soon”, Harrison said proudly,

“Chloe too?”,

“I will shoot any male that comes within a two meter radius of her”, I raised my eyebrow at him in the mirror and he moved closer to me and gave me a kiss on the cheek, “She is the only one without a wolf, she will need all the protection in the world”, unfortunately, my only daughter was not a werewolf but she had purple eyes. I know she not having a wolf had something to do with the fact that she had a very powerful spirit that had powers that even we were yet to unlock.

“Wolf or no wolf, she will make a powerful leader one day”,

“Yes, she will”, since she was our first child, we had decided to give her the position to lead once we retire, she would be the first woman ruler of the humans and I know she would do great things. Honestly, it was a blessing in disguise that Chloe was a human because it was still very much illegal for a werewolf to mate a human- it caused too many complications and no one has to go through what I did. She will fall in love with another human and they will rule together.

After placing the kids in their car seats, I went into the passenger’s seat and Harry took his place at the driver’s seat- yes, he had learned to drive just like most of the other humans and had learned to use the latest technology.

They were actually fast learners as well and they were actually welcoming of me and had accepted me as their own immediately.

So now, the question was; did I choose my path or let another person choose it for me?

I chose my path.

Was it worth it?
