Chapter Twelve: Getting Caught

My blood ran cold at the sight of Liam , who looked as though he couldn't see I was in the room. He had stopped at the door and I realized that he could merely see the bedroom as it was dark, while the outer part was lightened.




"Felix , I have come with news regarding the searches." My brain was in completely dismissal as I couldn't process what to say in the next seconds. I knew if I said anything, I would be in trouble as Liam 's suspicion would become a reality.




"Felix , I know you are tired, but the pack soldiers are requesting to move further north in the hoe that they would be able to find Cannon and the werewolf hunters." Again I remained mute, praying silently he didn't move further.






"Alright, I guess you must be really stressed." He concluded and turned around and left the room. The moment the doors were shut, I sighed in relief. It would have been the end of my existence as I knew how daring Liam could be.



I rushed to the door and had it completely shut out. I didn't want anyone stepping further into the room and ruining my plans.


Back on the bed, I pulled his hardened member. I had picked up a small cup hoping to get drops of his seeds. Gently, I began to stroke his member. The dosage didn't just make sure that he was asleep, I had ensured that it aroused desire in his lower region.

He finally released and with slight growls coming out of his lips. I smiled knowing that this short pleasure I had administered to him would make him feel less of himself.




I didn't hated Felix , but the thought of how he was quick to drop me off for Aurora pissed me alot.




Getting up from the bed, I used the closest towel to clean off the remains of his seeds and carefully wore his pants back, hoping he wouldn't be suspicious about anything.



I made my way out of the chambers and right before I would close the door, I stared at Felix one last time.


"Soon enough, you will be mine and mine alone." I spoke out a loud.



"What are you doing in my mates' chamber?" I froze for a second, slowly turning around to see Aurora staring at me with slight anger on her face.

Aurora POV



It was never a mistake that Annie was in Felix 's chamber. I knew her to be a snake in the green grace and seeing how much she had hated me, since Felix left her, it was clear her desperation has been second to none.





"Well I came to see Felix and it appears he was asleep. So I would suggest you don't disturb him." Her tone was rude as she spoke before walking past me.



Ignoring her comment, I stepped into the room to see Felix was laying on the bed fast asleep. Annie had been right after all, Felix was indeed asleep. While I didn't had the intention to disturb him, I was about leaving, when I noticed a glass of wine and Annie 's nigh gown's jacket on the bed.




My heart broke at the sight.




I was right about Annie , there was no way she was inside the room to see Felix . She had obviously come to seduce him and from all indication, he had slept with her. I couldn't bare the sight before me and thus I had to leave the room.




After all the promises he had made, it was apparent I meant nothing to him. I had always known Felix was only after his heir, the signs were there.




While I was close to my room, I bumped into Liam and all attempts to hide my tears proved abotive.




"What is wrong Aurora ? Did anyone hurt you?" He asked pulling out his sword and looking far ahead for any intruder.




"Liam ? I need your wisdom at this point. " I said cleaning up my tears and staring at him. "Felix has always claim to love me right?" I asked and he nodded in agreement.





"Then why does he keep breaking those promises?" Liam was confused for a moment wondering what I meant. "I went to Felix 's chamber to meet him, when I saw Annie stepping out of the same chamber. I knew Annie to be very deceptive and I still stepped into the room, after she had told me Felix was asleep."





"In his room, I found Annie 's night gown jacket alongside Felix who was fast asleep. It was obvious that he had sex with her." I couldn't control the tears again. I lowered myself to the ground, ignoring the ache from my belly which was protruding every single day, due to pregnancy.




"Aurora , get hold of yourself. " Liam requested trying to help me up to my feet. "Listen to me, just go to your room and rest. I will call Patricia to be with you." He assured, helping me to the door which was mere inch away.




"Where are you going?" I asked the moment he let go of my hands.





"To get Patricia to be with you..." He didn't seem genuine with his statement.




"Liam , your eyes says otherways... Where are you going to?" I asked one more time.



"Annie has beaten more than she could chew. I need to give her a piece of my mind!" He finished off and left ignoring my protest for him to stop.
