Chapter Fourteen: Felix Taunts

The morning was fresh and all I was after was going to see Felix , after the previous night encounter with Annie . I needed to know his decision over our relationship.





I needed to know if he was after his heir being born or he simply wanted me; the latter looked almost impossible.


Changing into something simple and casual, I heard a knock on the door and when I got to the door, it was none other than Alsie.




"Hey." I said casually walking back to the wardrobe.
"The Felix wants to see everyone." I stared back at her. ""He has informed Liam to tell the entire members of the pack mansion to gather at the chamber."


"What could be the problem?" I asked.



"I have no clue, but I am guessing he wants to make a major announcement." I shook my head and went ahead to change into my outfit, it was a gown and it was best for myself and the baby, which was already growing heavily within my belly.



When we arrived at the chamber, everyone was already around and it appeared that the Gramma was reading out certain reports to the Felix .


"That will be enough." Felix ordered the moment he looked at me. I noticed a smirk on his face and it made me wonder what he was up to this time around.



"I have summoned everyone here to make a very vital announcement..." He stared in my direction. "Aurora , kindly step forward please." I was caught off guard by his orders, but found myself obeying them.


"As you all know, Aurora is carrying my child and the future of the pack, but how can I know it is actually my child?" I turned in one motion to look at him, not believing he had said something like that. "Rumours have been going around that you and...." He looked up towards Liam . "...and Liam have been doing things that shouldn't be done."


Everyone including myself gasped in horror at the outrageous accusation that had just been proclaimed by Felix .


"Felix , I swore my loyalty to you. I will never take that what belongs to you." Liam said lowering his head to the floor.



"Enough! I have made my decision and nobody is going to stand against it." I was still staring at him, as he held up my gaze with a stoic look. "Aurora for your act of infidelity, you have been striped off your Luna position."


My mouth was completely left wide open as I realize that he was being serious with this decision.


"Also, Arely you have been stripped off your title as Beta of the pack." The pain im Liam 's eyes was evident and I knew just like him, he didn't understand Felix 's decision.


"Infidelity is an act punishable by death. But the fact that you both have been once officials of this honourable pack, I will mitigate the harshness by sending you both to the dungeons." In that moment a group of soldiers rushed forward grabbing my arms, while Liam growled before they could touch him.



"Liam IF YOU DARE RESIST THIS ORDER, I WILL HAVE TO END YOUR LIFE." Liam stared at Felix in disbelief. He had used the Felix tone on his most trusted official and didn't even looked back.


While we were heading away from the chambers, I noticed a smile on the face of Claidia and I began to ponder if she was a master mind behind all this act. I slowly began to connect the dot and it made total sense, considering they had sex the previous night.

Annie POV

It worked! And I couldn't be more glad that the plan worked just like I had always wanted it to work. Seeing Aurora and Liam being taken away into the dungeon, left a satisfactory smile on my face.


"And for the rest of you, let it be known in this pack that no one, I repeat no one is worthy of commiting infidelity. Once you are caught, I will make sure you spend the rest of your life in the dungeon or might simply just claw your heart out and feed it to the dogs." Felix looked in my direction and he was beaming with smile.


"That being said, I want to present to you my new Luna, the one I had always looked down upon, but should have known better that she was the woman meant for me." I smiled from ear to ear as his compliment warmed my heart.


"Annie is your new Luna." There was murmurs as I slowly walked past some of the members of the pack. I could see the hate beaming on Alsie's face, but I could care less about it.

Once I reached the throne, Felix got up from his seat and grabbed my waist in fashion, kissing my lips with so much intensity for all to see.


"Anyone who dares to question her orders would have me to contend with!" He revealed further. ""Do you have anything to say Annie ?"

I smiled and looked at the members of the pack mansion. Some of them had a down casted face, while others looked completely happy.


"I wish to let everyone understand something. Aurora is old news and as you all should have known, she has been living by the mercy of the Felix and just when we all thought things couldn't get worse, she decided to commit infidelity with the Beta."


"You don't have proof for that!" I heard someone speak and it was none other than one of the maids.

"Do you have proof that she didn't? This isnt speculation as you would know, this is the truth and for questioning my assertion, as the new Luna of the Pack, you would be flogged till you loose your breath." A slight commotion occured as the maid is grabbed by the soldiers and taken away, while everyone stared in disbelif.

"Anyone who dares challenge my authority is going to face my wrath and that of my amazing husband here." I looked back at Felix , who was smiling at my direction.


What a wonderful beginning of things to come!
