Chapter 14: the shopping with Emily

“Ehm I am very sorry but the truth is that your brother and I are not really into a thing, he is my boss at the office and I am his secretary, so we are not dating,” I said.
Hhahhahahahahaha, she laughed out so loud, thereby making a jest of me as to what I said was very funny.
“You must be kidding me right, you both are not into a thing and not dating and you live under the same roof and you are putting on his cloth, please go tell that to the little children on the street,” she said.
Then I looked at myself and realized I was putting on his cloth, I was so ashamed and embarrassed and didn't know what to do I just had to run back to my room.
“So Emily tell me what brought you to my place and by this time of the day,”? He asked.
“Wait do I need an invitation to come to visit my big brother and do I have check time when visiting, I don't get it,” she said.
“No, no, no please don't get me wrong I never meant it that way, today is Friday and tomorrow is the weekend you and I know too well that you don't like spending weekends here, you prefer dad place instead,” he said.
“Uhm well that's true but there's always a first time, and I have decided to come to spend the weekend with you, is there anything wrong with that,”? She asked.
“No, but you should have called what if I have travelled, what would you have done,”? He asks.
“But you didn't, or did you,”? She asked.
“So you said you are staying over for the weekend,”? He asked.
“Yes, I am,” she said.
“Then will you be chanced by tomorrow, I would love us to go out tomorrow,” he said.
“Yeah, sure that would be nice,” she said.
“Okay then, see you tomorrow, you know the way to your room,” he said.
“Ehm, is miss Cynthia your new girlfriend going with us,”? She asked.
“No, I don't think so, it's just you and me siblings outing and minds you we are not dating and she is not my girlfriend,” he said.
“You both should quit the pretence okay and see it that you are good for each other all you need to do is just ask her out,” she said.
“Stop saying things you don't know and you are not sure of because there's nothing like that happening between us okay,” he said.
“That hasn't answered my question is she coming with us or not,”? She asked.
“I have already told you no, she is not coming with us it's just you and me, get it,” he said.
“Okay then, sorry bro but I don't think I am interested anymore if she doesn't go with us, then I am not going to,” she said.
“Why are you always like this, you always have ways of blackmailing me with words,” he said.
“I am not blackmailing you, bro, I just told you the fact, if she doesn't go with us I am not going either,” she said.
“Okay fine she is coming with us, are you okay now,”? He asked.
As she plasters a smile on her face.
“Now you are talking, so tomorrow it is then, are we going anywhere special,”? She asked.
“Wait and see for yourself then you will know if a special place or not,” he said.
“I am going to my room, you know your way to your room when you are done,” he said.
Then he gave her a peck as he walks to his room leaving her all alone in the sitting room. As I lay on my bed, thinking about the kisses, sucking, and teasing I was just left amazed and then I heard a knock on the door (knock knock).
“Yes, who is that,”? I asked.
“It's me, Emily,” she said.
“Oh please, just a minute,” I said, as I stood up from the bed to open the door.
“Please come on in,” I said plastering a smile on my face, but couldn't tell the reason for the smile though.
“Sorry for coming to disturb you by this hour but my brother said I should inform you that the there of us will be going out for dinner tomorrow, so are you okay with it,” she said.
“The three of us, that's including me,”? I asked.
“Yes, or wouldn't you wanna go,”? She asked.
“Yeah sure why not, I would love to go, but,” I said.
“But what, what's the problem,”? She asked.
“It's nothing though but a personal problem,” I said.
“Hey Cynthia we are families now, you are my brother's girlfriend, so your problem is my problem so tell me what it is that borders you,”? She asked.
“It's about the wears to put on for the dinner I don't have any,” I said.
“Oh just that, don't worry I have got you, dear, my clothes will not fit into you, but by tomorrow morning we are going shopping before dinner, okay,” she said.
“Yes it is thank you very much and I so much appreciate it, but being honest with you Emily your brother Bob and I are not dating,” I said.
“Oh come off it with that sermons, do I look like a kid or a child to you, you both might not be now but I see the looks in your eyes and I know you guys are a perfect match for each other,” she said.
“But how do you mean I am just a secretary in the office,” I said.
“A secretary and you are living under the same roof with him and even putting on his shirt which I saw you with earlier, so don't tell me you that you guys are not into a thing, so tell me how did you guys meet in the first place,”? She asked.
“But that's the truth, but maybe in the future but for now nothing, well we met when I came for an interview and I was scared and tensed and there were a lot of people that day roughly fifty or so waiting to be interviewed and amongst all, I guessed I was the least qualified but then I had to summon the courage and wait until when it got to my turn and I was shivering but still have to go in anyway and I saw him I sank withing myself, he asked me questions which I couldn't attempt to, then he asked me out of the office then I began to cry(as I laughed and together with Emily) very funny right, then as I was about to leave the office he called me back again and asked how badly I needed this job, very badly I replied because my landlady had already served me a quit notice and if I didn't land this job I will be welcoming the streets, but that's a kinda long story,” I said.
“Long story indeed, we will continue that next time, now tell me sincerely if he comes now and asks you for a date, would you say no,”? She asked.
“I don't know,” I said.
“Or don't you like him,”? She asked.
“No, I never said that, your brother Bob is such a sweet and caring guy, so soft-spoken and gentle, handsome, tall and very rich he is the lady's guy, the kind of a guy that every lady wants, but I am not after all that, all I want is a man that will love me for me and be there for me and I never cared for material things,” I said.
“So you have it, he is all yours, alright, them see you tomorrow morning for the shopping for I have to go to sleep now for my eyes are kinda heavy after a long journey,” she said.
“Alright thanks I so much appreciate and see you tomorrow,” I said.
As she left my room to her room, then sleep was very far from me as I sat and ponder on her words then I never knew when I slept off before I could know it was a knock on my door.
“Hey Cynthia are you still sleeping,”? She asked.
As I woke up and checked the time it was some minutes after nine in the morning, I yawned and rub my eyes and I could still not see I could only see things so blurry I just managed to get out of the bed and head to the shower and after taking my shower then I can see clearly.
“Sorry I never that it was dawn already,” I said.
“No need to be, just get dressed and let's go,” she said.
“Oh sorry please have had something to eat for breakfast and your brother too,”? I asked.
“Yeah doesn't worry I have made us something to eat, so you don't need to worry yourself about that.
“Thank you very much,” I said.
As ingot dressed and we both went the shopping, from there we went to the grocery store and bought some groceries and when we came back I had to rush to the kitchen and make him some lunch and when I was I done I went to my room.
