Chapter 21: Peter and Bob's confrontation

“Hey wake up you are home,” he said.
Tried standing up and coming down from the car but looks like I was stocked then soft and caressing hand moved on my thighs and that felt so good and a lip gummed mine and I was so lost, all I could think of even in my drunk state was Bob and I thought he was the one, we kissed and kissed not until I felt a touch on my chest and my breast, then I came back to my senses no this is not Bob I muttered, then I held his hand.
“Please Peter stop this isn't right,” I said.
“Oh I am sorry, never knew what came over me,” he said.
As I struggle to get down from the car then I heard a sound that left me in shock and the drunkenness disappeared from my eyes instantly.
Not knowing he saw Peter and me making out in the car, trying to force myself to walk out of the car, my eyes were clumsy and heavy and everywhere was blurry and darkness have engulfed the earth, so it seemed to me and my legs were shaking to the ground as I wasn’t able to stand properly then I head this heavy punch and Peter screamed so loud that the much alcohol I took had to clear off my eyes due to the scream from Peter as a result of the punch from Bob and then Bob landed another much on him but this time he waved it and he was trying to punch him again and I had to hold his big arms with my small hand that wasn't to go round.
“Stop this will you, what's wrong with you Bob, you better stop this now,” I said.
“Let go of me, I need to teach this man right here how to respect a lady, how could he take advantage of your weakness,”? He shouted.
“Stop it you shouldn't be doing this,” I said as he tries to throw another punch at Peter.
“He took advantage of your drunken state and wants to have his way with you,” he said as he looks so furious and anger was just razing all over him, I just managed to get him inside “ Peter please I am sorry okay, you can leave now I will call you later,” I said. Then Emilia came out of her room and tried calming him down.
“Just calm down what is it, Bob,”? Emilia asked.
“That scumbarg tried to mollest her, because he saw she was drunk and he wanted to take advantage of that,” he said.
“But he didn't or did he,”? Emilia asked.
“But he kissed her, I saw it,” he said.
Emilia busted into laughter, “that's very funny how can you be here and see what's going or happening outside the gate by this hour of the day when everywhere is dark like this,”? She asked.
“I don't need light or anything to see my gate, I see everything happening around, in and outside this house, so I know what I saw,” he said.
“But I didn't kiss him and neither did he kiss me, he just dropped and we were just having a conversation that's all and I wasn't drunk,” I said.
“Go tell that to your ancestors, you weren't drunk you said, when I stood in front of you were you aware and how long was I standing before you noticed my presence,” he said.
“Dont let his words get to you dear, come here,” Emilia called on me, and like a baby I walked to her and rested my head on her shoulder and like a mother she held me so tight and pats me like her little baby and on her shoulders I felt so comfortable like I shouldn't let go and I held her so tight that tears roll down my eyes and I sniffed my nose.
Then she turned and raised my head and saw the tears from my eyes.
“Are you crying dear,”? She asked. You shouldn't be my dear,” she said. And wipe the tears from my eyes with her hands.
“ Don't let the tears full you, she is just acting up I know her kind and those tears don't work on me,” he said.
“Go away Bob, just go away, you don't know a thing about her that's why you treat her the way are right now but remember you don't tend to know the value of what you get until you lose it, so be wise,” she said.
I was just so shocked and short of words and didn't know what to say after hearing him speak about me the way he just did, all I could do was rest my head more and more on Emilia's shoulder, right there on her shoulders I find solace and comfort, there I was just crying in silence and all that was going through my mind was does this guy truly like me the sister said because you can’t hurt the one you love this way.
“Hey, common dear, let's go inside don't mind him, okay he is just being a jerk,” she said.
We walked away and went inside.
I sniffled my sister was right, she has always been there for me when no one was and I don't know how much I can ever appreciate her efforts, I plastered a smile on my cheeks before I slept close to her, she had that convenient smile as well before she sat close to me.
" Whenever I look at the sky, I always admire every feature of it, and let me tell you something.." Emilia trailed, I found myself darting my Head towards her direction, while trying to calm myself down, I closed my eyes and fold my hands to a tight fist while trying to listen to what she has to say.
" I know your boss get paranoids at times, but the reason he just vented his anger on you like that was because..."she trailed as she curved her lips to a smile.
"Was because of what?" I asked curiously, u smile sprawled on my lips, I don't mind being do close to her for The rest of the night.
" Because he's Jealous, that was how mu boyfriend was, he easily gets paranoids whenever he sees me with someone else " he said.
I never thought about that,now thinking about it, was able to give more light to my confused state, I wonder how I could have been such a fool.
" Ok I'm running to his house right now" I said before I stood up.
"You can't be serious right?" She clenched her fist before she continued, " don't go there, I know he doesn't really love you, please just forget about him" she said.
"No sis, can't you see the way I have started generating strong feelings for him and I want him so badly, please don't stop me from loving him" I pleaded, she took a deep breath, Before she came close to me and cupped my cheeks with her soft hands.
"I know how you are feeling right now, that's why advising you as a sister, if your boss truly loves you as you have speculated, then we would come to look for you himself"she advised, I took a deep breath, while trying to calm my raging emotions, she was so right but I need to talk to him at least.
I then decided to give her a tight hug before I left hurriedly towards the door, where I found myself taking a cab towards his house, I was feeling so anxious, but I just want to see him even if it was for a little time.
For that reason, I gently opened the door and I was shocked to my bones when I saw the scene unfolding right in front of me.
I noticed my Boss was making out with another woman, they were so engrossed in thier actions that made me stood still, I couldn't move an inch. I wished I should have listened to my sister, I won't have been experiencing this, the Only thing I wanted at this moment was just to be out of here.
I gently wiped my tears, while trying to sniffled some breathes..
" Bob..." I called out gently my voice was hoarse yet domineering at the same time.
When he heard my voice, he abruptly turned towards my direction, he was shocked to see me standing beside the door and before he could do anything, I had already ran away leaving him there alone with his new found lover.
So much pain engulfed my being, the Only thing I wanted at that moment was to be free from so much pain, I just want to forget about everything, I don't know what to do, I hoped deep within me that everything would be alright, I tried as much as possible to calm down that's when I heard the voice of Bob resonates through the midnight air.
"Please don't leave me, I have been such a fool".
