Hiding The Blue Eyes

"Wait, you can't just leave like that. What about this child? Petrova holding a little baby in his arms approaches Daniel Donovan who was up on the hills about to leave.

     "Think about what people will say about this child and Lady Isabel. They will say he is not your son and call him an illegitimate child." He continued.




"He will be raised by the Donovan family since my wife gave birth to him. I will send someone over after his mother's funeral." Daniel Donovan was downcasted.




" Are you abandoning this child? Is he not really your child?




"Believe whatsoever you choose to believe." Daniel took his leave.




"If this child is only going to cause trouble, let us just end his life here and now." Petrova provokingly threw the little boy into the air, rushed for his sword and pushed out his magical strength towards him, but right before the sword and magic could get the child, Donovan had gotten hold of him and restricted the magic causing it to bounce.




"See? He is your son. A son you're willing to protect even at the risk of your own life.




" I am merely trying to keep him safe. If his gate of energy remains closed and he lives as my son, he will live. However, if he chooses to discover his fate instead, he will not survive it." Daniel Donovan said sternly.

       Petrova became more calm and composed. He enquires about the child's father.

" Who is the father of that child?




" He is the son of a dead man. Not only does his birth make no sense, it never should have happened either." 

Petrova watches as Stefan approaches both him , Morgan, Trevor and Lady Kimberly with his pale body and half dead maid.

As they get closer Lady Kimberly runs to help him out. " Young master, are you all right? Why did you bring her out? Let her go." She attempts to relieve her of him but he resisted.

Stefan went further closer to where the others stood and fell on his knees both him and Cressida.




"I apologise for causing trouble."




" Why did you bring her out? She tried to poison you" Petrova asked.




" She did not poison me, I poisoned myself. I did it because I hated that I was incapable of casting spells. My maid only risked her life by doing what she was told to do, it was all my doing."




"Stefan Donovan, how could you? Petrova screamed in rage, moving towards him in anger.




" Please save it for another time. He still has not recovered fully from the poison. Punish him all you want, but wait until he has fully recovered " Lady Kimberly intervened.




" Stefan almost died just now, please do not scold him like that. Look how pale he is." Trevor pleaded as well.




"Take him away for now." Petrova commanded and made to take his leave.




Young master, let us go. Go to Fendril and receive treatment." Lady Kimberly went to help him get up.




"Cressida will come with me as well."




"Now is not the time for that." Lady Kimberly said.




"Cressida needs to get treatment too." Stefan screams back.




" Young master." Kimberly said as a way of persuading him not to him.




"Fine, Go ahead and die. Lock them back up." Petrova virtually lost his temper this time. 




" Calm down, uncle." Trevor pleaded. 




" If Stefan is right, that maid did nothing wrong. She's severely injured, if she's not properly treated, she could die." Morgan took pity on Cressida as well.




"I'm surprised she is still alive even after all those beatings, if she dies I will allow you to hold a funeral for her." Petrova was merciless and cruel at this point.

Stefan went further on his knees and bowed to beg Petrova.

" Please help, Cressida only risked her life to carry out the instructions she was given. We need to treat her at Fendril to save her life. Please help her."




Petrova turned around, backing Stefan, still very upset." I want both of them out of my sight, take them both to Fendril." Petrova leaves with his guard thereafter.




"Stefan" Trevor runs to help him up immediately Petrova leaves.




"Young master go ahead, I will take Cressida there." Lady Kimberly volunteers.




Stefan reached out to Cressida on the floor and called out to her. " Cressida, Cressida wake up." Cressida slowly opens her eyes as Stefan tries to help her up, he sees the blue mark showing up in her eyes. He tries to hide her eyes from the rest.

" Let me carry her." Morgan offers to help.




"No, I will take her myself." Stefan resisted.




" You cannot even walk properly."




"I can do it, she is my maid, so I will take her."




" But you're not well either, you cannot take her there." Kimberly said paranoid at his resistance.




" You think so? Then… you carry her on your back." Stefan found a way to stop Morgan from seeing Cressida's eyes.




"Pardon?" Lady Kimberly was shocked.

Housekeeper Kimberly ended up carrying Cressida on her back while Morgan and Trevor carried Stefan.

The group soon leaves for Fendril.
