The Torrent Of Energy

Maidservant Kim walks into Stefan coming into the living room while she has his food served in a tray. For

" Young Master, this is wild ginseng tea, drink up." She stretched the tray to his face. 




" Wild ginseng?" " I will drink it after I return. Leave it." He said smiling.




" Are you trying to give it to Cressida again?" Kim asked, frowning.




"It's cold outside, she deserves something warm and nice. Why did you make her sweep the yard out in the cold?".




" Wait!" Kim dropped the tray of food on the table.

" That maid is getting treated for free. So I asked her to do her part." Kim couldn't believe he often gives his food to Cressida.




" Why does it have to be her? Could you not do it yourself?"

Maidservant Kim blinked her eyes twice to be certain he made that statement.




" I have to heat up your medicine, prepare your food and also take care of you."




" Cressida will take care of me, you do not need to worry."




" Ooh, I see. So you only care about Cressida. Since I am now considered useless. I will go outside and sweep the yard just like Cressida." She said screaming and paranoid.




" It is just that I feel like I am putting you through a lot. How long did it take for you to boil that wild ginseng? Stefan sounded a bit apologetic.




" It took me the entire day." She said sharply and upset.




" That's what I'm saying, you did not get to sleep a wink. How do you think that makes me feel?




" Not good." Kim and Stefan were both dramatic individuals. Anyone watching them both would give a good laugh.




" Right, I know I put you through a lot with all the trouble I caused. Look at how tired you look, you used to have porcelain skin. You should be the one having this wild ginseng tea."




Kim, who was already calm and blushing, touched her face with her palms.




" Then stop causing so much trouble. I don't know what to say to the Leader." She said affectionately.




" If he punishes me, so be it. My gate is open now, which means I will be a part of Pandora." He was too excited to say this that Kim went further closer to him.




"Are you that happy that your gates of energy are open?




" Yes, I am. Once I enter Pandora and become better than Morgan and Trevor, they will regret not having taken me in sooner." He was affirmative.

Kim stood there looking at him compassionately.

Stefan smiled a little, went to where the tray was and asked Maidservant Kim to have the wild ginseng instead. He stuffed the ginseng into her mouth.

" Thank you for the ginseng, I appreciate it."




" Sure"




" Thanks." He said leaving her in the living room. Kim smiled wilder when he left. Stefan was being appreciative of her for the first time.




    Meanwhile, Cressida was still sweeping the yard when Old Reyes ( Master Ramirez Lewis) walked in with his assistant.

"You must be the spiteful maid." Old Reyes said




"What are you doing? We gave you treatment, your wounds could get infected." His assistant asked compassionately.




" I got treated for free, so I was asked to work to show gratitude." She said grumbling.




" Maidservant Kim is a wise woman. Sweep the yard nice and clean. Then manure the medicinal herb garden. " Old Reyes felt satisfied.




"Alright" Cressida waited for Old Reyes and his assistant to walk past her before she began to mumble in her mind.

"You just wait, Ramirez. Right now I may be sweeping your front yard. One day I will get rid of Fendril." She bent, sweeping the entire dirt on the ground on Old Reyes and his assistant that they both stopped to look back at her. 




" Hey watch it, was that on purpose?" Old Reyes asked, coming close to her.




" No." She answered.




" I think it was on purpose." He continued.




" That is absurd." She frowned.




"You're an odd one" Old Reyes searched around her face as she stood siding him. " This ear… I have seen this ear before." He went further as though to examine her ear. " Have I ever treated you before?" He asked her.




"How could I have been able to afford being treated at Fendril?"




" This ear looks familiar somehow." He grabbed her ear and twisted it till she screamed out in pain.

" Sweep the yard properly." He went off leaving his assistant.




Cressida held her ear in pain." He almost ripped my ear out." While she continued her chores.




" I know it hurts, but bear with it. He is angry with young master Donovan and he is taking it out on you." His assistant said.




" It is normal to pick on the weak. That's how the world works. I will just try to remain quiet."




" If that's the case, try not to resent him. He gave ten years worth of his torrent of energy to help your young master heal faster. Try to get a quick rest when you're done." Old Reyes' assistant told Cressida and walked away. Cressida is surprised by this revelation.




" Ten year worth of his torrents of energy." She rhetoric and ran off to meet Stefan leaving the broom on the floor. He has been waiting for her in the dining room for so long and already lost in thought when she rushed open the door.




" What took you so long?" He asked half way, paranoid." "Come here! This is wild ginseng-" he continued standing up to create a space for her to sit and eat. Meanwhile Cressida came with a mission, she ran to where he stood and rushed open his robes, untied his belt not letting him continue what he was saying.




" What's wrong Cressida? What are you doing?" He was confused and scared that he began to struggle with her.




" Stay still." She continued to open the layers of his robes.




"This is not what I had in mind when I brought you here. Cressida this is wrong. I am your pupil, stop it." He kept trying to push her off him but to no avail.




" Gosh." She finally had access to his stomach, although leaving the last layer of the robe untouched. She puts her two palms on his stomach and leaves it there as though to examine his breath.




" What are you doing now?" Stefan had stopped struggling with her and stood still.




"I am checking the core of your energy. Breath properly". She said Stefan released his breath finally, she redirects her palms on his stomach again, closing her eyes for a while. 

" It is there. You really are special. She chuckled and smiled, looking up at him.




" Cut it out." He finally shook her off him. " What is inside my stomach?"




" A great torrent of energy, Master Ramirez Lewis placed a torrent of energy in your stomach."




"A torrent of energy?" Stefan couldn't contain his joy, he kept smiling.
